Brad Pitt Rocks the Vote
Brad Pitt was spotted campaigning for Proposition 87, which would tax domestic oil production in California, raising $4 billion to fund alternative energy research. Brad, 42, was joined by Maria Elena Durazo, Executive Secretary, Treasurer Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO at a news conference earlier tonight at the County Federation of Labor headquarter in Los Angeles. to MARIA and GULI,
It’s my pleasure to send you the photos but I need your email addresses.
It was snowing last Saturday and we got a sunshine. Nowadays it is cold but dry! 2 weeks ago it was like spring!
to AFRICAN GIRL,
Sorry but I couldn’t find her email address.

Medi: Can you get onto Bamz?
Gulli: How can we get e-mails to med?
Thank you, Jolie4ever.
Me again…

Hello ladies, Ell, MF how are you guys.
I hope by now our family has united, but Brad has to soooo tired. Well I am sure Angie will take care of him :lol: in a special way…..
I hate it when celebrities talk about politics. I live in LA and I struggle to make ends meet. Prop 87 would raise the gas prices and I can barely afford it as it. I voted no.
Thank you Bluemoon and guli for the link to the video on splash.
Maria I have posted my email here so many times I’ll post it again for Medi to send me the pics then I’ll share it with everyone on BAMZS YG.
Mediterranean, I am still jealous, BTW I heard there were floods in Turkey, which city, haven’t spoken to my parents for few days, I know it can’t be Ankara where they live since it is such high altitude??? OK, here is my email, we also want pics from Isreal, we are a demanding bunch aren’t we ;-) julsroberts12@yahoo.com , we miss you stay in touch :lol:
Guli…thanks also.
I watch the video…those poor kids. To see children beggin on the streets just kill me. I just think…what if that was my children…man the state of the world today. The lies that come from the media about EVERYBODY not just our peeps AJ/BP and family…but all and here we have CHILDREN begging…such more important things to worry about…”instead of is it true, it’s not true, still together, they just married and/or divorced”.
Poor children!!!

so a little blood and gore turns you off? not me. i LOVE violent movies! but as much as i love braddy in Fight Club, Snatch was definitely his best for me so far. guy ritchie is a genius when he’s not trying to make an actress out of that controversywhore wife of his. i loved Lock Stock and i’m just itching for him to make another film like that one again, only better.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well….not all blood and gore doesn’t really turn me off, I just don’t like the fist to fist kind. Give me car chases, Bombings, shootings and even stabbings any day….Okay, that totally has a negative connotation doesn’t it? Before the moral police pounce on me, I’d like to add that I mean in MOVIES….not REAL LIFE…NEVER REAL LIFE. I am definately no ******. In my mind, all I see is punching, punching and more punching…blood splattered everywhere…Eek!
God, he’s gorgeous and he votes. I voted early this AM. My write in candidates were, Brad Pitt & George Clooney (for AG). Yup! HA! HA!
You ARE indeed a true friend…just so you know… Can you picture it now….me in a nice off shoulder gown (not some boring skirt suit like Hilary Clinton and Laura Bush wore), walking majestically down the stairs, doing my beauty queen wave….a twinkle in my eye as the crowd screams my name….well not mine, GC’s. Oh what a glorious day that would be and rest assured, I won’t forget all my friends. You guys can come visit once every four years ( What did you think….that we’ll be having sleepovers every night, sleeping on the same bed and howling at the moon during a goddess circle? Hellooooo we ARE women not teenagers)
Sharon,
Isn’t gas already high? Do you really see gas prices declining in the future?
Gas companies made so much money off of our asses and when they had the option to help us out, they opted no, and to keep their profits.
Raising prices for my benefit is to me better than raising them for the benefit of oil companies who made insane amounts of money in the previous years.
I’ve read about the Proposition and I think it’s a good thing.
Me Again– ITA and that is why I love this family. Honestly until JP hooked up together I NEVER paid attention to”stars” in Hwood. But this couple intrigued me for their humanitarian work, the way they deal with negative press by ignoring them (I wish I could tune them off w/o my blood pressure rising) and how much they love their kids and ALL kids around the world. They are quite remarkable, IMHO….
Sharon, as i stated earlier on, I knew nothing about Prop 87 so I did a little research, here’s an exerpt from one of the websites I found….
PROP. 87 IS PAID FOR BY OIL COMPANIES THAT DRILL IN CALIFORNIA NOT CONSUMERS
California’s Attorney General has confirmed that Prop. 87 makes it illegal for oil companies to raise gas prices to pass along the cost to us. If they do, they’ll break the law and could be prosecuted. The U.S. Supreme Court has already ruled that states can prohibit oil companies from passing fees like this on to consumers. Just look at the other states that have oil drilling fees - their gas prices are significantly lower than in California. Oil companies are spending millions to defeat Prop. 87 because they know it’s illegal to pass the cost on to us.
The media is so fickle and transparent. Brad And Angelina have been doing charity work for years,Angelina before him, but after the break up of the “golden couple” they were all there with their dirty rumors and snide remarks. Now that He’s hot property with an Oscar buzz, they’re giving him checks at a premier, and calling Angelina his wife?
As transparent as it is though at least B&A are getting the respect the derserve, in front of millions of people-the kind of sheep that were brainwashed into thinking the worst. The table has turned BIG TIME. Maybe now Huvane will see how futile his campain has been. he and his “client” can crawl under a rock like the snakes they are.
Where can I write Extra tv to thank them on the donation they gave to Brad.It’s good to see that they appreciate the work that Brad and Angelina are doing.The money is going to two organisations that they support.Is there a reason why we are not thanking them. I dont post often,but I come here to read your posts everyday,so I now know the sites and magazines to avoid.Is Extra tv one of them?
We normally incourage each other to sent e-mails to magazines when they lie about Brad and Angelina. What we want for them is to be recognised for their work humanitarian work.I think it will be good for those who want, to write and thank them.Sorry to those who have written already,maybe I missed it.
———-
I think that’s a great idea. Unfortunately, I’m having trouble finding the comments section, if there is one, on the Extra website. I did find a link for people who wish to send in story ideas. Maybe we could use that.
The Media has gone MAD, they are running a story claiming BP and AJ have abandoned their plans to adopt an Indian baby because of the hoopla surrounding Madonna.
ha ha! i think the media found out a couple of things about indian adoptions and decided to cover their butts since the holidays are upon us and they predicted there would be another member to the jolie-pitt house around this time.
I found this on the against list
HIGHER OIL TAXES, HIGHER GAS PRICES.
Prop. 87’s sponsors claim it won’t increase gas prices. Are voters supposed to believe a $4 BILLION tax increase on California oil won’t impact gas prices at the pump?
and this as the rebuttal for the above
DO YOU TRUST THE OIL COMPANIES?
Oil companies are paying for the multimillion dollar misinformation campaign against Prop. 87.
See for yourself: California State Website: http://www.cal-access.ss.ca.gov
Notice the oil companies didn’t sign the statement at the top of this page? What else are they hiding? THE FACTS:
• PROP. 87 MAKES OIL COMPANIES PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE.
Oil companies pay billions in drilling fees in New Mexico, Alaska, Louisiana, and even Texas. California is the only state where the oil companies do not pay similar drilling fees.
http://www.voterguide.ss.ca.gov/props/prop87/argue_rebutt87.html
I know it doesn’t matter much but I sincerely believe Prop. 87 is not as bad as people want to make it. Simply put…it seems Prop. 87 is taking the money from the oil company’s pocket and using it for something beneficial to all. Can you imagine how much profit the oil companies make be able to give their execs over $100 million dollars as bonus?
Observer2, where did I say that they couldn’t have an opinion about politics? I just hate that they use their fame to stump for their own agendas. Most of them are as dumb as a box of rocks, so why would I listen to them. Heaven forbid I like to make up my own mind on matters.
And to the others that say it won’t raise gas prices, independent experts say that it will indeed raise them.
Thanks, and I do like movies with lots and lots of action, I have not seen any of thoes movies except of course Snatch, as I have every movie Pitt and Angie have made with the exception of Sky Captain, which I will be getting
does anyone know when was the first time Brad took Angie to meet his parents?Was before or after they adopted Zahara.
Sharon —- OK is that the reason CA elected “Arnold” , the most intelligent person, is that the reason US elected Reagen not once but twice as president. I can go on and on. The bottom line is it is up to the indivual to decide who they want to listen and believe. So you personally don’t like it, fine. Just like I won’t believe in anything Okra says, or the tabloids. TC is not going to make me believe in scientology, I don’t ever watch Fox news….. So having said that, I’ll also add that before I vote on an issue I really read about it. We have one here in Ohio, issue 7 that Archie Griffin is pushing for , I knew nothing about it so did my homework and decided to vote for it, NOT because it was a two time Heisman trophy winner who was pushing for it….JMHO…
Good evening Bamzsfans, Brad looks really yummy in these pics, though i can view only the small ones, the gallery doesn’t work for me. He must be dogtired, but he still looks gorgeous. His personality, his charisma shines through that’s why i love him. There are several young actors, who look good, but they transmit nothing. I look at their pics, and they are so empty, that’s why i don’t care about the new generation. As for now none of them is good enough to step in the place of Brad or George Clooney or Johnny Depp.
Video of KO covering the false Al Qaeda threat against BAMZS, it’s very short, not even a minute long
hey, if you want a list of fabulous violent flicks to see, just ask. food movies too. gitane is a fountain of indie filmography!
Alright Sharon, let’s say for the sake of arguement you’re right. Did these independent experts say by how much a gallon, who they are? You can bet the oil companies will continue raising prices sure as we’re sitting here.
This proposition will give money towards developing alternate feuls in the future, we ARE going to use up the oil on this planet, there’s no doubt about it. What kind of world are you going to leave your children and grandchildren? If you think you are having trouble with your budget, imagine what they’re going to pay for fuel.
It’s a case of pay me now or pay me later, but I guess you don’t care about leaving the ones that come after us to pick up the mess
