GULI - I am SO with you on AC - I can’t type the name without my hands scrunching up to strangle someone. I like the Al Franken idea. He’s funny as all get out and could keep all the haters away, as I think they are part of the minivan minority.

I am heartbroken about Ed Bradley. It was sort of surreal, in the car this evening, hearing Mike Wallace, who is as old as the hills speak of him.

You’re right about homosexuals being on Capitol Hill, but most of them are too afraid to acknowledge it. They’re too busy pushing the anit-gay agenda right now.

LOL about the impersonations of Geraldo. I think both Jon and Stephen purposely make him sound effeminate. My favorit Geraldo bit was when Jon came on the TCR to put on the fake moustache and apologize to Geraldo. Using the moustache to clean the dry erase board was hilarous.

On Margaret Cho’s DVD, her opening act and main gay, Bruce he talks about the time when he met a group of black log cabin republicans! It ended with him saying, “You know what, I can’t change the mind of three people, do what you gotta do!” lol When he asked one of them about their feelings toward gay marriage he actually said, “Well, I just think marriage is something that THE GAYS shouldn’t be going after” And he’s gay!

Brad Pitt told his “Babel” co-star Cate Blanchett and director Alejandro Gonzales that he’d flown 20 hours to get from India to LA for Sunday night’s “special screening.”

That’s probably why he only had the energy to sign autographs, shake fans’ hands, chat with reporters and pose for photos on the carpet. Whew. He definitely didn’t hang for the hot after-party at the Hammer Museum although he told one reporter he was tempted by the prospect of the multi-cultural food buffet.

Paramount’s honcho Brad Grey, breakout “Babel” star Rinku Kikuchi, Don Cheadle, Josh Lucas, Julie Delpy, Salma Hayek, Michael Pena, Mike White, CAA’s Kevin Huvane and Zach Braff were among the crowd at the Japanese sushi bar, Morroccan and Mexican buffets and admiring oversized stills from the film, hung like works of art in the open air gallery.

Hard to believe that in June 2005, at the very same Westwood theatre, Brad showed up solo on his motorcycle with (surprise!) bleached white hair for the premiere of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” He and his then-only-rumored real-life love interest Angelina Jolie stayed far away from each other on the red carpet and at the afterparty, only posing for photos with the director sandwiched between them.

Now - just a year and a half later - the handsome, rich couple has three kids, several homes and a shared mission to save the world.

Just where was Angelina? Apparently, she was busy doing her United Nations Commission for Refugees Goodwill Ambassador duty, touring India and meeting with Minister of State for External Affairs, Anand Sharma.

Brad didn’t go to the afterparty? That surprises me.

I don’t know why people in the media and elsewhere seem to forget that Brad and Angelina went to India to work. They did not go there to have fun or escape the media.
