The Pitt’s Back in Pune
Brad Pitt is home sweet home, having arrived back in India earlier today, passing through Pune airport after promoting his new film Babel on Sunday evening and campaigning for Proposition 87 yesterday evening (both in LA). I’m sure Angelina Jolie and the little tykes — Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh — were all glad to have him back. Now back to movie making!

Irrfan’s Mighty impressed by Brangelina
Khan says that the Hollywood actors are far removed from their starry image

For the last three weeks, Irrfan Khan has been working with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in A Mighty Heart in Pune. Needless to say, he appears to be very impressed by Hollywood’s golden couple. But he’s reluctant to talk about Brangelina.
He says, “I am under contract and I’m not allowed to talk about the film.”
So we ask him about his interactions with Brangelina.
He says, “They are famous celebrities and yet, they’re so down-to-earth and professional. Both of them are concerned about what’s happening around them, especially social and political issues, and the work they do towards that, is extremely impressive. Brad and Angelina are like any other member of the unit. While shooting, they fool around with the unit but once shooting is over, they keep to themselves.”
Irrfan is also impressed with the way the film is being shot. The Hollywood approach to filmmaking is something he’s never experienced before and will never forget the experience.
He says, “Shooting for A Mighty Heart will remain an unforgettable experience for me.”

Someone said yesterday that my and Jen’s writing style are similar and that’s why we’re the same person.
What’s funny about that, to me, is what style is that? Is it because we both write in grammatically correct English and take the time to spell words correctly? Because if you’ve read her posts (and incidentally, as a rule, I automatically skip hers but had to go back and read her stuff when I noticed the ’similar writing styles’ comment) we don’t have similar styles in that she talks about Jennifer Aniston. I don’t. And anyone who has read me over time knows that I don’t enter the Jennifer Aniston fray.
It’s just the mob mentality to think that if a person is going to challenge the OBVIOUS HYPOCRACY of the regulars, then anyone who might agree with that person is just their “alters.”
Someone also said yesterday that this whole Mayor of BAMZSville nonsense is just their way of bringing some light in an already dark and cruel world, or some such ridiculousness like that. It’s a way to enjoy BAMZS and I should not take everything so seriously. Yet, TP has a little, meaningless run-in with a poster and she has thrown up her hands and said she will now start posting less often.
Oh, Ye of the Thin Skin.
It’s just a blog, people. And by the way, if you think that the ‘Internets’ is a place that doesn’t allow for the POSSIBLITY that two like-minded people, completely independent of each other, can go on a blog around the same time, then maybe it’s time you step away from the keyboard and go get some fresh air.

Excellent points. There are a lot of people who check this board at the same time because they have to be at work by 8, 9 or whenever. That doesn’t mean they’re the same people. I’m going to sound snobbish but I can definetly tell the east coast people on this blog from others

It’s true.
- I agree and disgaree with this remark. I have read posts on this site for far too long and to remain immune to its undercurrents. The mob mentality only comes to the fore when BAMZS were attacked, shouldn’t you too? We defend those that we like. I haven’t accused anyone of posting in different names before, heck I wouldn’t even accuse ritzygal of being those other “agitators” with ridiculously asinine names, but just this once I honestly thought that ER is Leo. To ritzygal, maybe you could clear some air for us. I do believe that you’re a fan of BP but you seem to dislike AJ so much. Good morning BAMZS fans. I checked out early last night and need to catch up from the bottom of the thread.
OK first of all Ritzy, like I said I have no clue what went on last night I need to read it. But there is something I am truely against, and that is anyone being critisized for “we both write in grammatically correct English and take the time to spell words correctly”. What makes our thread so much fun (which drives them crazy) is that we have folks from all over the world and English is their second language. Who gives a rats a-s as long as we are having fun and can communicate. Cr-p sometimes we are all typing so fast to respond, checking spelling errors is not the issue here.
Especially on this fine day of BABEL openning, any kind of communication should be appreciated. Hubby and I are going to night at 7pm. I have a question to folks who have seen the movie; my daughter who is 15 wants to also come with her friend to see it. I know it is R rated, but do you think it would be OK from them to see BABEL????
