She did say charity is not her thing, but she meant I think being active like Angelina. I’m sure she does give to charity. She has attended breast cancer functions (dinners etc.) that require at least a $1000/plate. I believe the charity quote was either in Vanity Fair or was about the time the article came out in another interview. There is nothing wrong with her not being actively involved as most people are not actively involved in a volunteer organization. Most give money rather than time. Does she give great gobs of money? I don’t know. I doubt that anyone on this list does. Most stars are rather private about their giving, because just like us ordinary folks when we give and people know it, they get bombarded with causes and requests for time, money etc.
Regardless of whether she gave of her time or of her money to St. Judes–it is a worthwhile cause and if the picture of her in a T-Shirt showing off her hair and body causes people to contribute to the kids, then that is fine with me. The kids are what is important not Aniston and whether she gives of her time and money.
There can only be a few leaders but many followers .
Alas.. Aniston is just a follower :)
You Brangelina fans show your true colors no matter where you post. This photo goes along with a TV ad to raise funds for one of the finest children’s cancer treatment center in the world. St. Jude’s is also a leading research center for new treatments and hopefully a cure for the various types of children’s cancer. Jennifer has been a supporter for years. This year she is a spokesman.

OMG!!!…What in the world is going on here!!! OK we get it! You hate Jennifer. MOVE ON!.. Go and post on one of your BAMZS threads…go and Praise how great they are. Go on now…GO!!! It makes no difference what Jennifer does to you. She only does wrong in your eyes. Why bother wasting your hateful energies on this thread. Are you truly that jealous of her? Why? Because she is loved by her fans, because she is loyal and actually has friends, because she knows how to dress, because she has a life and family/friends to share this with or is it simply because she has morals and doesn’t **** around with married men?…it’s probably because she’s well balanced and doesn’t get a new tatoo every week along with wearing viles of her blood or anybody elses for that matter? Hate to burst your bubble, but think about it. How many millions have been given to St Jude and other places and kids are still dying. I know from personal experience the real research is geared towards arrogant Doctors and researchers vying for titles and positions and chairmanships. They use this money for trips, offiec furniture and tons of computers and equipment that they never fully use. If anyone, especially someone from the FBI would go undercover for about 10 years at some of these so called research hospitals and facilities, and expose what they are really doing-you would be as shocked as you were on sept 11th! The best thing they can do with that money is give it directly to the patients and their families and send them overseas for some nutrition based treatment!

No matter what, anything she does will be compared to the other two. Get over it! Their names should not even be brought up, just as hers should not be brought up on posts about them.
That said, great shirt, great cause, I hope it brings in lots of money for those precious kids. And, she HAS been with them for a long time.

Talking a lot against her ex in any way she can.. from Oprah (2x) to Vanity Fair, etc. I was never a fan of Angelina nor Brad, until I saw this pathetic Aniston wagging her chin around. Her comments about Brad (Billy Idol look, uncomfortable furnitures and other complaints) should have stayed between the two them. That’s when I lost my respect. That’s why I have my doubt that she is a great person.
Jen has always done charity work - whether it was auctions or fashion shows. She did several during her time on “Friends” as well…She also took part in the Katrina telethon…What I think she meant in the interview was that, as a celebrity, she would not use that platform to take political stances…as it seems many celebrities these days now do…It’s a tough situation for any celebrity to put themselves in because not only are they seen under a microscope, but the media feeds off of it…

- Jen’s arrival yesterday wasn’t exactly quiet, it wasn’t exactly unattended, but it was definitely absolute chaos.
Pappies amazingly alerted in advance to her arrival, a personal swat team alerted in advance for protection. And I’m not the only one curious about the overkill. TMZ also asked the question – why not use the back exit?
if security is such a concern, why not take a private plane from any number of private and less publicly accessible airfields in and around the Los Angeles area?
Answer: Because if that were the case, no one would have seen her.
Don’t tell me someone like Jennifer Aniston doesn’t have the cash or the clout to make private travel arrangements. Hell, if Howie Mandel can score a private ride out of Heathrow within a few hours during the terrorist threat, Jennifer Aniston can CERTAINLY score a private ride out of London if she really wanted to, and something tells me that would take minutes.

Alright, here we go again, a lot of the skeptics are NOT questioning the fact that it;s a good cause, or even whether she’s been giving for years, at least I’m not. I am questioning her conveniant timing. I mean she’s been around a long time, famous on Friends, married to a famous guy, and now for the past two years she’s been on every tab cover. Why now?? when she hasn’t been making a movie for a long while, why now when people are doubting her credibitly, not just the brad and angelina fans. she’s been pulling publicity stunts all over the place. Oprah denying the break up (really if they’re not broke up we’d find out) the side show at the airport, now this. How convenient.
Let’s not forget that the same girl who smokes pot in yard topless in full view who has been denying her and Vince are together–is now saying they are. HUH? So–she admits she is a liar? And we all go–Oh-ok. She is hanging on by her nails to already failing career that if it weren’t for Brad and Courtney Cox’s help–she would be a fat, needy, ugly mooch.
She is obsessed with appearances, and anyone who wears short-shorts on David Letterman at her age who wants to be taken seriously –is again–smoking something. The writers on Friends even hated her. The only reason people give her the time of day is because she gives hope to all the girls who think they are ugly. And oh–let’s not forget her plastic surgeries and that is the best she can look?
Ok I did a research cause I want to be sure of what I’m saying and find that she has attend the “St. Jude at second annual Runway for Life Celebrity Fashion Show in Hollywood” in August 2003. But I didn’t found a word about her giving money on her own or visiting those children and get emotionally involved with them. Support them or just give them a hug a hope All she was doing was “grace the red carpet” with her appearance as an article said and posing for photographs. All I want to say is that if she really wanted to get involved with this she would have got her hands “dirty”. Not just waving and posing. And if she has been with them for so long then that’s a double reason to do more than that. Raise your voice! Give your money your time and your energy. That’s why she is losing every credibility to me. But I’m not painting this cause through her. What St.Jude is doing is more than great and I’ll probably buy the T-shirt. Because I don’t want her PR motivations to putt any damage on it. Anyway I’m not pushing anyone to believe as I do. You have your own will whatever that is. That is just my opinion and only mine. I’m out of here.
If I compare what Jen Aniston does about her divorce to what other movie-stars do, she comes across as THE most lying, media-hungry starlet ever.
Jen Aniston has millions of dollars, but the same ambition that denied kids to Brad, is driving her into the tabloid world. FAME is her definition of happiness.

Is this they way you all react to someone who lets say promotes charity publicly OR not, for the 1st time OR 100th? I think many of you are making it a personal issue, because you are all obsessed with Brad and Angelina and revolve your entire lives around them as if they know you and you know them. Do you not realize how silly you all sound? Are you all 12? (mind you no offense to any 12 year olds because I know a few who would still not act this way)
Do you ever tell your friends/family/co-workers how obsessed you are? Try it. Most of them would look at you funny and think to them selves if not tell you straight out. GET A LIFE!
I do not understand why everyone bashes her for her charity work. It doesn’t make her any less a person or her cause any less because she isn’t totting around kids and then dropping them off with a nanny. Her doing a photo-op to sell a cause isn’t any more scandals than Angelina hiring a photographer to follow her into huts. Millions of people give alot more than both of them and they aren’t hiring photographers to capture it. If your going to bash one, then bash the other.
I visit this website because I find it entertaining to read about celebrities and what they are doing. I have to admit it, I like BP, AJ and JA. Yes, I do. However, it must be said that there are some really obsessed fans out there that have to trash other people, especially the Brangelina fans. I’m not sure why they have to do this, maybe it makes them feel better about themselves, I don’t know. These celebrities have all done some good things but they have all made bad decisions as well. It’s hard to live in the public eye where everything you say and do is put under a microscope. I’m sure that if BP, AJ and JA read the comments on this website, they would think that there are some real fruit loops out there. Why not just acknowledge that BP, AJ and JA do great charity work? Just because JA doesn’t do as much as the other two doesn’t mean she’s a bad person. She’s just different. I like all three of them. Oh sorry, that’s not allowed, I forgot.
Its a known fact that Jen is messed up emotionally if you go back into her trouble realationship with her mom and all her personal problems..I think the men in her life are gracious for covering for her as they end up pitying her but for Hollywood sake, they act mature and nice to smooth things over..as it is they fell for her so they don’t want to look like suckers either…
Hollywood is a business and many bad eggs can survive as seen with Jen’s film career. She is pretty much type caste as a boring flat actress to me. Her roles have nothing to do with talent and her sucess is based more on timing and budgets. The movies save her ass from Hollywood extinction post-Friends but not necessarily from repulsion..what talent does she really have but that of a smart ass??
She is hardly funny and her acting is so contrived.
Jennifer Aniston and Vince—-no one ever believed they were an actual couple, it was a great marketing ploy, and you have to admit it worked, the film did pretty well considering neither one as a star has opened a film to much success…(vince has been in ensemble casts with success), but jen open a film alone? i dont think so…and vince, please…lets not forget Jen has one of the best publicist in town, and she knows how to generate great print…but surprised,? no…. sad??…maybe.
