Brad Hides Behind a Hanky
Brad Pitt put on his motorbike helmet (and photographer hat) and rode into town yesterday afternoon. He took in as much of Pune as possible, snapping pictures every chance he got with his trusty sidekick, the Leica R8 camera.
Brad’s handkerchief looks like it’s for protection against wind and pollution… unlike some other pop stars we know that hang babies off hotel balconies. Nice helmet though, eh? More pictures in the gallery!
Note to Brad: Please stop smoking!

It can’t be helped by some not to give out some plot lines of the movie to describe how BABEL affected them. Anyhow, it is an exhilirating experience to watch the movie on the big screen, the landscapes, the background music and most especially the acting of the entire cast is just exceptional. I agree with others, I forgot the Brad Pitt as he portrayed Richard Jones. I didn’t even have to ask my husband but he said that we should watch it again next week!

Be Sane- Taj Mahal is in a city called Agra and BAMZS are in Bombaby (Mumbai). The hotel is called The Taj Mahal and Tower hotel in the article Ritzygal put up.
Hope Brad can kick his smoking habit but good to see him taking in the sights in India.

How are you? I just found another person that’s on MSNBC that’s more irritating than CM….Rita Cosby! For all I know, that may be what her voice naturally sounds like but whenever I accidentally stumble upon her show I can’t help but think, “God, ease up on the smokes sweetie!….And possibly the testosterone!” lol And I’m sorry but she doesn’t seem that bright either.
It makes me sad to see the lack of women that have their own hour news show during primetime. Yes, there’s Katie but…I’m just not a huge fan and neither is America because her ratings aren’t doing so great. Although I really like Amy Robach because she’s mix of beauty, wit, and intelligence, which is why she’s Keith’s first sub. anchor whenever he’s sick or has to travel.
Now that I think about it…women dominant daytime tv talk shows while men have late night. Not that I mind watching Conan, Jon, Stephen and at 8, Keith…but I’d like to have some variety, ya know? I saw Amy Sedaris on Martha Stewart where she made fun of Martha’s single life and I just thought, “Amy should have her own talk show!” Martha made things worst by saying, “I don’t live alone..I have five cats” LOL
As much as I like Brangelina I went to see Babel because I really like the director. I love all of the stories in the movie and how they all interwine. I didn’t cry as much as I though and it’s a good thing. I hate it when movies try hard to make you cry. It was more a sombre and reflective movie. It’s also refreshing to see Brad Pitt grown up.
I really really don’t like seeing him still smoking :( Damn you addictive nicotine. Leave Brad alone!

Guli, of course we will act ladylike and mature, but my dear the best team is not the Buckeyes but Michigan, of ****, I may not be able to watch the game, I am going to LA to see my sister and my nephews, the oldest one birthday is next weekend and we are spending the whole day out, but no worries, if I can’t wait it on TV, I will be watching it in spirit :) and we are going to crush you guys :lol:

I agree with you too. I love Iñarritu also and I’m seeing this movie because of him and Brad. I own Amores Perros, but I’ve never seen 21 Grams, but I’ve rented it and will watch it before I go see Babel tomorrow. I want to see all of Iñarritu’s vision in it’s entirety.
I love Brad Pitt though and always have. He’s a really underrated actor and it’s definitely because he had to fight his pretty boy image. I could have honestly seen him go the Paul Walker route (and I loves me some Paul Walker because he’s damn fine) and chosen roles that never detract from his looks, but use them instead to promote his talent (and it doesn’t have to be said that Brad is milliions times more talented than one of my favorite eye candies Paul Walker). I’ve always looked pasted Brad’s looks because he is so damn talented.
No matter the role he just IMO brings so much too it, and has such great range. I can’t stand it when people try and say he’s not a good actor. I’m always like WTF! Without a Brad Pitt in this world who would have brought us Legends of the Fall or 12 Monkeys (the ease with which he could morph into this insane person, right down to the head jerks and weird body movements), or Tyler Durden in Fight Club or the Jamican accent he affected in Meet Joe Black or the end scene of Seven when you can see him balancing his rage against his sanity before finally giving in to shoot Kevin Spacey. He’s great and memorable. I can’t wait to see him in Babel I have no doubt he will bring something special to the charachter he portrays.
He definitely needs to be interviewed by James Lipton on Inside the Actor’s Studio. I’d love to hear him just talk about his work.
He’s so modest to a fault though and I think, honestly, that is his biggest drawback (although a noble one). He has every right to be proud and boast about his talents, but I remember hearing about how one of his family members said that he has always been acutely aware of the advantages he has, in the looks department, and probably otherwise, and thus attempts to detract from himself instead of sometimes taking the credit he deserves. I guess that means it’s up to us fans to praise him when he doesn’t do it himself.
