I’m so excited about Babel coming out — and not just in the art house but in the main theaters!! But I won’t be able to see it until next week because of work obligations — so no spoilers, okay?! Besides, that’s good to give it some box office the next week, too, so the dropoff isn’t so much. Give the movie legs — don’t everyone see it right away!

No matter the role he just IMO brings so much too it, and has such great range. I can’t stand it when people try and say he’s not a good actor. I’m always like WTF! Without a Brad Pitt in this world who would have brought us Legends of the Fall or 12 Monkeys (the ease with which he could morph into this insane person, right down to the head jerks and weird body movements), or Tyler Durden in Fight Club or the Jamican accent he affected in Meet Joe Black or the end scene of Seven when you can see him balancing his rage against his sanity before finally giving in to shoot Kevin Spacey. He’s great and memorable. I can’t wait to see him in Babel I have no doubt he will bring something special to the charachter he portrays.

The first movie I ever saw with Brad was “Seven years in Tibet” (and don’t forget his Austrian accent to this movie also). My mother had show the movie before me and told me this phrase “I’ve never seen a man this beautiful in my entire life” and then I saw it on my own out of curiosity. That was it for me! I was astonished by his looks! I was in lust, in love, in everything!! LOL!

After that I started following his carrier by watching more of his films. The second one was “Seven”. I simply LOVE this movie until now. The storyline always had an intense effect on me. And I was like “Wow! Wait a minute this man can really act!!”. This last scene when they are bringing his wife’s head in the box and the way his screams “what’s in the f**** box??” My Lord I was trembling and crying at the same time!

And then comes Fight Club, Twelve Monkeys A River Runs Trough It, Legends of The Fall, Snatch, and even old ones like California and Too young to Die. The man is talented and has a great charisma on the screen. He has given remarkable performances in the past. They way he is putting all of his emotions on his face. His eyes and his forehead. He uses his forehead a lot to express emotion in the characters he portrays. His great ability to change his accent whenever is needed and be very persuadable in that such as SYIT Snatch and California. And of course the way he is changing his looks. He never looked the same in ANY of his films. I never got the impression that Brad Pitt is playing Tristan or Tyler or Mills. The characters were always in the front run. Not his Star persona. Unfortunately some people couldn’t scratch a little deeper that the surface of his looks and many took him just like a “pretty face”. But this man has proved from the beginning that he is a lot more than that.

Personally, Sleepers is one of my favorites of Brad’s. His performance impressed me greatly.

Brangelina have finally left Pune after a 38-day shooting schedule of A Mighty Heart in Pune. Along with kids Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh, the couple left for Mumbai at around 9:30 in the morning yesterday, keeping the media guessing. It was being speculated that they would leave late on Saturday evening or early Sunday morning. But Brangelina gave the media the slip and left quietly on Saturday morning.They are expected to shoot there for five days before going to Goa for a three-day-long schedule of A Mighty Heart. “They are not going to Goa for a pleasure trip.We have finalised some locations for shooting there,” said a source from the production unit.
On Friday evening itself, intense speculation had started amongst the production unit and hotel authorities that the couple might leave late on Friday night or even early morning on Saturday may be at two or three. But finally they settled for a morning exit.
When they left Le Meridien hotel in Pune in the morning, there was no media there. Hotel authorities managed to keep their exit hushhush.They left from the VIP parking of the hotel which is underground.
Meanwhile, the mood at Sindh Society was upbeat as we met some of the casting members of the film. Ghulam Mohammad and Maqbool were among the artistes who were there for shooting on the last day. “The shot today was that of Eid where we were showing the festivities associated with the festival. It was a shot showing Pakistan where a number of family members and friends have assembled to celebrate Eid,” says Maqbool.
Ghulam plays a butcher in the movie and his shot is that of cutting a goat on Eid. “The shot was of a prosperous family in Pakistan,” he says. Ghulam adds that a Pakistani citizen has been there with the crew “to teach the taur-tarika and Pakistani rituals.” The movie is based on the assassination of Daniel Pearl. Sindh Society had been transformed to Zamzama Street of Karachi to show it as Pakistan. Some shots of the Karachi Police have also been taken as we saw junior artistes in police uniforms and also dressed as pathans. “We had a great time we spent with Angelina ma’am.We hope that she comes back,” says a technical member of the crew. It’s over to Mumbai for now!

I would love to see Brad on James Lipton as well. But I would really love to see brad on Charlie Rose again. They have mutual respect and interests and they click. Plus, it would be great to see them go over his june2004 interview…. Everything he said he wanted to do he is doing it right now.. Actually, I am going to watch part 3 again.. BRB

Rita Cosby does have a very annoying voice. The only time I’ve seen her though is when I was watching TDS and Jon was making fun of her. Maybe the voice is because of both, smoking and the testosterone! LOL. Whatever it is that causes her to sound like that, it makes me think of listening to nails against a chalkboard.

She should try print journalism because I heard her show doesn’t do all that well ratings wise and she obviously can’t do radio. Ok, I’ll stop with the bashing. Bad stardust! lol

I saw Amy Sedaris on Martha Stewart where she made fun of Martha’s single life and I just thought, “Amy should have her own talk show!” Martha made things worst by saying, “I don’t live alone..I have five cats” LOL

I would like it if there were more prominent women on T.V. too except that the majority of the woman on T.V. are people that I find annoying (Nancy Grace …ughh), or don’t care about (Katie).

The only one I like are Ellen and Sam Bee. So I’d probably would end up complaining or not caring if more women were given their own hour news show during primetime.

Amy Sedaris is hilarous and if she had her own show, I’d check it out but other than that, I can’t even think of another woman who should be given some more T.V. time…one which I like.

I love watching Conan too. Can’t wait till Leno retires (no offense) and Conan moves up to his time spot. I wonder how Conan vs. Letterman would do……
