OlderBrad & Angie Tour Gateway of India
It was a Pitt family affair earlier this morning, as they took a tour around the seafront promenade at the Gateway of India in Mumbai. Angelina Jolie carried daughter Zahara, almost 2, while Brad Pitt carried son Maddox, 5, on his shoulders. Brad even took the time to chat up tourists along the way!
Security officer Mickey Brett left his pink shirt at home, but black works too!
UPDATE 1 :: Just added one more photo of Brad and Angelina attempting a covert arrival into Mumbai via a chopper. They were immediately ushered into the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, where the couple had their dinner date last night.
UPDATE 2 :: Hahaha. Looks like Maddox is falling asleep (or already did!) on Brad’s shoulders. Poor little guy must be beat!

So now, let’s get back to comparing 2 movies which are comparable (your first foot in the mouth was the right foot). Friends with money and Babel are comparable serious movies dealing with comparably serious issues. FWM reviews were - ummmm mixed at best. Babel’s reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. So, if I were to take your argument to its logical conclusion - YOU WILL SEE THE REALITY OF HOW MUCH AMERICA LOVES FRAUDS.

for those comparing FWM and Babel, why not wait until Babel is out for 19 (nineteen) weeks and compare performances then. I’m sure Too Bad is willing to wait to prove he/she is right…

As for the box office: this is an absolutely artistic, indie movie, and everybody knows this, except for the Xfans. This is a movie, where people in the theater cry in the end. We all know that nowadays many Americans don’t really like to think, and don’t like movies where they are forced to read (Babel has subtitles). It’s sad, but this is the case. Brad is in the movie for 20 minutes and Babel was not overhyped like any of the X’s movies.
Aniston’s movies really tanked because she was after box office, those were mainstream movies (except for FWM) and she appeared on every talk show and entertainment show, she promoted and promoted and promoted, but her movies were bombs, because those were bad, the critics hated them, the audience hated them and the critics always pointed out that the X was a bad actress. Public sympathy didn’t turn her into a good actress and a box office success, we all remember, don’t we?
Babel is a winner movie in Cannes, the critics love it, there is Oscar talk not only for Brad, but for the Mexian and the Japanese actress. And those people who are not afraid of emotions and thinking, love it too.
Oh, and Friends with money earned only 13 million in the US, and 4 million outside the US. So shut up you morons. Babel did earn a total of 7 million without this weekend, in limited release.
One thing I am really glad about is that JA is not in Borat. I won’t be surprised if she is going to ask to be in his next movie though.
Well Babel is still doing OK, for a movie which TooBad said nobody in the US would go see. As long as it does better than 1:25 in revenues, compared to “Friends with money”, BP is still OK.
For an indie film, Babel is doing well considering that it is showing in only 1,200 theaters, its average per theater is quite good. Russel Crowe’s movie is the one that is doing badly! The thing is, there is just too may competition this week, 3 strong movies from last week and 3-4 good movies opening this week, including that of will ferrel and Russel.
Babel will be showing for a long time, just like Brokeback Mountain, One million dollar Baby, and will do well again once it wins an award.
Of course, Borat is doing very well, but its a sign of times, people wants to laugh and forget their problems, so most people went to see Borat.

That Foreign $ amount is just for Four countries. It opened in other countries Nov 10 but those amounts have not been included yet.
BTW if Brad truly felt this movie needed to be a big box office success he would have actually done TV to promote it. Brad made Babel for the same reason Johnny Depp does The Libertin not for the money but for the respect.

Comparing Babel with Borat is like compare a David Lynch movie with Jackass. Plus there wasn’t a huge marketing campaing with Babel. This kind of “Oscar buzz small movies” usually pick up at the box office after oscar nominations. Finally since when Brad is Will Smith? Brad has never been know to have a huge sucess record with the box office. Besides MAMS, usually Brad movies don’t do that well in the box office, even Troy that had a HUGE marketing campaing was a “flop” in the us market according to a group of people, so your theory of “they don’t like Brad because is a cheater” doesn’t make sense.
Holding the kids or putting them on their shoulders is the best idea. Can you imagine allowing those kids to walk around in that type of crowd? Holding their hands isn’t enough. I would want my babies as close to me as possible. There is a lot of evil in this world and you can never be too careful.
The children look really cute. You know what, these kids seem like a breeze to be with. They just don’t appear to be bratty, throwing temper tantrums. They’re like no trouble at all to Brad and Angelina. Good parenting. Z’s little legs are fattening up a little. How cute!
Brad looks happier now than ever. Can anyone deny that? He really does. I think that he’s happier being back in the states too. Some mags have reported this, and just by his demeanor in photos, it seems true. I hope they decide to stay in America permanently.

perhaps Brad should do some feel good movie about boy meets girl, a bunch of convoluted humor thrown in, boy gets girl,the end. But he’s alittle too mature for that , of course X is just plain too old to be doing that but she doesn’t get it.
Enough of the hater. All that gushing got basketcase riled up. Babel is an excellent film, enough said. I like how Zahara’s hair look. AJ is doing a good job. I think of how Zahara went from this sickly, near death baby to this healthy, robust child. People may criticize their adopting these beautiful children but there is no doubt that they are well taken care of and love. BP was meant to be a Father. I hope that they are able to adopt and have many more.
Too bad the hater source is not that good… Start the pity party for the pity friends with (love) money!!!!

People, it’s a beautiful Sunday, some of us are going to see Babel today so it’s still part of Babel Weekend for Brad. We have a bunch of beautiful photos of the family from Jared and Audrey.
So let’s just ignore all those trolls whose main goal in life is to annoy us and push our buttons. Let’s not allow them to do that. Let’s just go on in our merry way, loving BAMZS.

And just like Fight Club was not number one, and it was overlooked by the Americans when they released it. It was a flop, really. Now Fight Club is a classic. This just shows that Brad has good instinct, and he is a good actor. And unfortunately the majority of American audience is dumb. Sorry if i offended anyone. Brad’s movies are always doing much more internationally, even the movies made during the “golden age”. I don’t really know the explanation, but it’s true, that he is a real international star.
Doesn’t anyone notice that Angelina’s arms look like a skeleton?! She makes Nicole Richie look zaftig.
Brad’s movies generally make more money abroad. It has not opened at all in most places outside of the country. He’s an international star. It is to soon to assess what’s coming in on this movie. Total money worldwide is going to be fantastic. Stay tuned.
I would like somebody to answer this question for me. Wasn’t there pictures posted a few months ago trying to evoke pity for Angelina who supposedly looked like she was crying in her car because her mother is dying of cancer? So why is she in India to make a movie if her mother is dying or is she in remission for the 20th time again? She always conviently is dying when the press gets bad and it’s pity time for Angelina or miraculously goes into remission when Angelina has to go off somwhere. I would think my dying mother was more important that a movie. I would want to spend every last minute with my dying mother that I could.
And Brad is definately no Will Smith. Will Smith is a devoted MARRIED family man. He cared enough about his wife to actually marry her and then have children and did not get her pregnant while married to another woman. Will Smith outranks Brad in every area and I am sure especially in the crotch area.
Lylian, I forgot to say I am glad you mentioned that the ice cream is OK. I was told not to have any ice, ice cream, or any kind of liquid not bottled in any third world country. That’s why when I went to Egypt a few years ago, I wanted so badly to drink their sugarcane expressed juice but I didn’t dare until the last day of my visit. I was fine afterwards, that made me so pissed I didn’t drink it the whole time I was there.

Paramount Vantage will expand Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarittu’s Babel, starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, nationwide into over 1,200 theatres on Friday. Despite the star power and the $1.5 million it has made in limited release, it’s likely to have a harder time when expanding so wide so quickly, because there will be many choices in those new regions into which it’s expanding, and it’s yet to get any of the expected awards that would help it do business

OMG!! FWM made only 17 mill dollars playing in more than 1000 theaters for 133 weeks and Babel is still having a limited release and it has made 7 millions only in 15 days??And it’s in number 7 at the box office. And they call it unsuccesfull??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I can not believe that some people are this DUMP!!
Well with that logic in the upcoming week Babel will made 14 mill and in a couple of weeks it will pass 20 mill. Plus the earnings of this weekend have yet to arrive.
If America dosen’t love “cheaters” then you you simply can not understand a movie that can teach you some things about your life and about your self rather no matter who plays in it than siting on your sit watching a comedy that it will make you laugh only for a moment and eat a tone of pop corn and that’s it! That’s what your one brainsell can take.If people like you went out to see Babel it would be a shame for the movie.
Plus Brad will Be nominated for an OSCAR for his role moron!! Something your beloved idol will not see in her wildest dreams!! So go suck your thump now!
