OlderBrad & Angie Tour Gateway of India
It was a Pitt family affair earlier this morning, as they took a tour around the seafront promenade at the Gateway of India in Mumbai. Angelina Jolie carried daughter Zahara, almost 2, while Brad Pitt carried son Maddox, 5, on his shoulders. Brad even took the time to chat up tourists along the way!
Security officer Mickey Brett left his pink shirt at home, but black works too!
UPDATE 1 :: Just added one more photo of Brad and Angelina attempting a covert arrival into Mumbai via a chopper. They were immediately ushered into the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, where the couple had their dinner date last night.
UPDATE 2 :: Hahaha. Looks like Maddox is falling asleep (or already did!) on Brad’s shoulders. Poor little guy must be beat!

What a great way to start my Sunday, pictures of the family enjoying a day out.
Ignore the haters. I saw Babel the first weekend it opened in Los Angeles and it was a wonderful, thought provoking movie. It left me speechless.
I think if Brad cared about the box office results, he would have done countless interviews promoting the movie.
With that said, the people who will likely see Babel, will be a more mature intelligent crowd, unlike the fans who went out to see TBU. I was force to see TBU on a flight from Jamaica and it was so not funny. That movie totally sucked.
And thanks again Jared for a great site.

Think Positive - you crack me up. I think you have all the complaints covered. But…seriously, isn’t it funny? You forgot one….Angie is buying ice cream from a street vendor!! Isn’t she more careful 1. about where her kids’ food comes from and 2. about their weight….ice cream bad! LOL
Lylian - Thank you for the “look” inside where they are. Is it near the real Taj Mahal? I do hope they visit there. India seems, more than most a country of such contrasts. I love the sign by the picture of Angie and Zahara “no horse and buggy”? It seems “quaint” to us, until you realize it’s real!
I agree, I don’t think Angie looks pregnant in these photos either. I’d KILL for such a flat stomach! I also think they are smarter about birth control….although mistakes DO happen. For now, I’m 25% for, and that only because of MMom.
Re Babel’s box office - I don’t expect it to do big business in the US. Americans don’t usually support sub-titled, “art” movies. I DO expect it to do well overseas. I think the subject matter is one that is not easy, it makes people think. If you look at the top box office in US, most, if not all the movies “entertain” but do not require brain power. Take from that what you will. Borat? Sorry, I wouldn’t touch it. I hate movies OR shows in general that make people look stupid. Anyway, Oscar isn’t based on box office. To even think for a minute that Babel isn’t doing “well” because of Brad is just stupid. If anything, HE’s bringing people in.

First, this is certainly not the sort of box office fare. Comeon now! Typically you have family movies and comedies doing very well, but not a subtitled, foreign, art movie. Also, i’m not too sure the oscar peeps would eat it up either because it might be seen as being very similar to crash and they already awarded crash last year. BUT that doesn’t take away from the fact that the movie was fantastic. Also, Brad is probably the reason why it’s doing as well as it has been.

OC, no they are not near the Taj Mahal. They are staying at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai, which is on the West Coast of India, while the Taj Mahal is in Agra, in the northern part of India. Boy, I sound so knowledgeable about India, but I actually just learnt a few things about the country since B&A arrived there. :oops:
The fact that the American people would rather pay to watch Scary Movie 4 doesn’t mean that it’s a good movie. I’m sure Brad didn’t do the movie for the Box Office.
These are great new pictures to wake up to. I guess the filming is almost over. The kids look a little tired, but adorable. Zahara is looking really cute. Look at those chubby legs.

Good morning fellow BAMZ fans! I just woke up, we watched Babel last night and it was really awesome. Lets ignore the haters, they always get AGITATED, BALLISTIC,and just downright CRAZY when they see the BAMZ family happy.

Holy $hit!
I was going through my old VHS tapes and came across the Japanese version of Shall We Dance? and I just realize that the actor who played Mr. Sugiyama was the father of the deaf-mute girl in Babel. His name is Koji Yakusho and if some of you haven’t seen his version of Shall We Dance?, I highly recommend it. It’s a love story, of sorts, mainly it’s about reconnection- with others and with oneself. I suspect that it has a depth that’s lacking in the J.Lo/Gere let’s get our dance on version.
Both kids are sleepy. They must have missed their nap time. I wonder how long they walked around?

Hello BAMZS Fans! Please ignore the asshats. The hate filled rants are indication that the Jolie-Pitts are doing something right. The more successful the family is the more upset the haters get. That’s just how it is. We’ve seen it happen for the past 2 years. And if Brad is nominated for an Oscar, expect the asshats to become so enraged that their pimpled filled faces will explode.
Regarding Babel, I too thought it would do better at the box office UNTIL I learned the movie is HEAVILY SUBTITLED. I love America but for the most part we don’t race out to see movies with subtitles unless said movie has a whole lot of butt-kicking action in it.
Babel is arthouse fare and will do better in the large cities than in small towns. It will do better in the blue states than it will in the red states. Paramount Vantage is hoping for Oscar recognition and I think they will get it.
Now lets enjoy the beautiful pictures of the Jolie=Pitt family minus 1. Thanks Jared and Audrey for the pix.
TOO BAD, Will & Jada have an open marriage. The only way they will divorce is if one is caught PUBLICLY with someone else there by making it almost mandatory that one files for divorce. It’s not because they really care but to save face with the public. Another thing, they have been moreso than any other couple out in the spotlight on red carpet events with their children. Will even has his son now in movies and he’s only 8 or 9. They are pushing for their children to be in the entertainment business like any other family business. I don’t see anyone saying they are pimping their kids for publicity.

Zahara is going to be really tall. She’s not even 2 years old yet. Maddox looks so content with Brad. I’m glad they seem to be enjoying Mumbai. Like someone posted, they will see incredible beauty and incredible misery all within a short distance from one another.. They are both world travelers now so they must have anticipated this.
Is Angelina pregnant? I’ve read several theories but you know what? My thoughts are if she is, fantastic. If she isn’t, that’s ok. But I’m not gonna wrack my brains about it. What for? But for some, the guessing game is fun.
I’m heading out for brunch at the pancake place (most of you know the name). Haven’t been there in almost a year, so I wont give their name. I don’t know if their standards went down or remained the same.
