OlderAngelina Hops on a Train in Mumbai
Angelina Jolie created quite the commotion in Mumbai, India earlier this morning by jumping on a packed local train from Charni Road station to Churchgate. Angelina was shooting Michael Winterbottom’s A Mighty Heart with co-star Dan Futterman (pictured below). Imagine that! Riding the train into work and Angelina Jolie commuting with you. Ha!
In Touch is reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie dropped by the Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra family adoption center and gave toys all the kids. “It was great excitement not only for our kids but for our staff as well,” the orphanage’s executive director Roxana Kalyanvala said.
“Brad and Angelina were lovely and genuinely adore kids. Every move and every look of the couple was filled with love for our children and we were floored with their genuine affection,” Roxana added.
Angelina kissed and hugged the children while Brad got down on the floor with them, rolling on the ground and entertaining them. “He was like a kid himself,” says Aruna Thake, a child development worker at the center.

I disagree - I don’t see how there’s anyway to interpret what Madge said other than as a slam at Angie. I read the comments online before I saw Lainey’s bit on it and thought the same thing myself. Besides which Madge has NEVER been able to give anyone the credit they deserve for having been there before her. Yes she bandwagoneering, but she can’t admit that because it makes her look bad. So instead she couches it as she did it the hard way instead of the easy way. The hilarity of it is that no one in the UN would ever have approached her to be an ambassador for anything because she hadn’t exactly shown an interest in anything other than herself for her whole life! The one time she does do something and she denigrates the efforts of those before her. Simply put…Madge could’ve given plenty of other examples of celebrity activities in Africa, but she chose a UN ambassordorship as her example of someone who does nothing but be lend their celebrity to the cause and does none of the hard work. Frankly I don’t know how anyone was able to interpret what she said an anything other than a dig at Angie. Color me confused.

I thought this exactly, especially after seeing her interview with James Lipton on Inside The Actor’s Studio. When she said who she was acting in her next film MAMS. The look on her face when she said “Brad Pitt” was like “man who knew, somebody should have told me!” She was so surprised that he is the person he is, like she wasn’t expecting it.
I’m so happy she let herself fall for him.

I guess Lainey and I made the leap together then. I’m still trying to figure out how to NOT make that leap. In or out of context, what Madge said is a fairly obvious dig at celebrities who were on the bandwagon when she got there. I just can’t come up with anyone else who’s a UN ambassador. Hey Guli & Be Sane - Be Sane can ask me about the YG…but I know nussink…absolutely nussink! I can’t stand the layout of the site. I know I’m a moderator…but I don’t got there very much. SHHH! Don’t tell anyone! I think the site is clumsily designed and hard to use. It took me forever to figure out how to upload pictures! They need to have an UPLOAD link right there on the photos gallery page. If you click on the Photos link at the top of the page instead of the one on the left side, then it takes you to the gallery…but you can’t upload from the gallery. No, to upload you have to click on Photos link on the menu on the left-hand side of the page and go to the ALBUMS page. Nowhere in the instructions do they tell you that.
Also, if you post a message…it doesn’t appear right away. You have to keep refreshing the damned page until it shows up! I know Yahoo hosts tens of thousands of groups…but they need to make that sh#t easier to use!

I thought of that, but she couldn’t be because neither of them deal with Africa. She was specifically asked about getting on the Africa bandwagon. Nic Kidman is onboard for women’s issues and Michael Douglas for children’s charities. Nice try, though.
Plus, Madge lives in England. You cannot tell me that she missed that whole episode 6 weeks ago where those British tabs were trying to say that NK had dissed Angie’s charity work and then they had to retract the whole story because NK made it clear she hadn’t done that and she expected a retraction and an apology…which she got. I know Madge thinks only of Madge, but she’s good friends with Putrid…who’s been up against NK for a lot of roles…that went to NK. Yet another coinkydink that just doesn’t fly with me.
PT—Ohhhhhhh, and here I was trying to be polite. Oyyyy, my laptop was ready to fly out the window everyday between JJ black-outs(sorry JJ, you know I love you both), and 300 emails a day. As for Guy’s “career”. Well, people like Ted C keep making cracks about Brad being the woman in the relationship, but what about Guy? He’s married to a woman more famous and richer and he hasn’t worked in a dog’s age. Madonna can diss whoever she wants because if nothing else she can pay for Guy’s next flick herself! And you know how HW/movie industry people are…yeah, his wife pissed me off…but the movie he just made did $100MIL at the box office! It’s all about the money!

I haven’t posted in a few days, but I don’t think PEOPLE will name Brad SMA, simply because Brad would hate it. PEOPLE seems to have a good relationship with Brad and Angelina and their respective camps. PEOPLE would let Cindy G. know that he was their pick, to which, Cindy would ask them not to give it to him. He’s most likely up for major awards this season and being SMA is something that Brad doesn’t want anymore, especially this year when he’s done everything he can to be taken seriously as a man and an actor. MM might have loved being crowned last year, but, Brad has never liked the stigma.
Will he be in the issue, no doubt. But, he will not be given the title.
