Hi Amaya. Just saw the trailer. I’m so excited …I had no idea they had a movie coming out. I know, I know..I’m a bad fan. I have to see this after seeing the trailer. Thanks for the heads up. :)

I don’t think talking about how they hooked up is bad at all. And that’s not what I’m saying. Beating the divorce into the ground and discussing Jennifer Aniston is something I’m over. I can’t stand hearing about it anymore because it creates a connection between him and her where there is none anymore. That’s what I’m referring to when I talk about speaking of the past.

I’m sure they will discuss all this in the future. I think part of the silence on their part is that they don’t want all the hoopla, but also because it is so new to the both of them and probably surprising. I don’t really think they thought they would find each other the way they did and they are in the process of negotiating what family will be for them. Interviewing and talking about it would be too much at this stage because they are just learning how to create a stronger bond as a family.

As each day passes and more and more footage of them is shown it just becomes so much more real. They are actually two people, not just two celebrities and I’m tired of all the disrespect I feel they are receiving by people too caught up in their celebrity. It’s a beautiful then to see any two people fall in love and create a family. It’s inspiring and I think that’s why we are all here. We will continue to talk about how they began, and my hope is that we shift more toward the present and their possible future.

ITA. While it can be fun (for me anyway) to dis the X, and also amusing to speculate on just what broke up the Golden Couple, it does still connect Brad to the X when there should be no more connection whatsoever. You’re right, we should be more about the present and future of this beautiful family, all the positives about them and their children.

Oh yes, me too. I think their instant attraction and chenistry was something that took them both by surprise. Maybe neither one of them thought they would ever feel like again, or they had forgotten what really being head-over-heels for somebody else felt like. When you get to be 30-40, you think that’s just for school kids, and then it comes along and smacks you upside the head.

I do believe what Innaritu said about Brad while he was filming Babel, that he was going through a beautiful experience, and it translated to the screen. I am sure that’s why Brad’s Babel performance is powerful, because of the feelings Angie stirred up in him. There are other second-hand quotes from Innaritu that have been called into question as to whether or not he actually said them of Brad, that Brad told him he fell “instantaneously and passionately in love with Angie” and that Brad “was a little boy who discovers love for the first time”….. even if Innaritu didn’t say these things, my gut tells me they are true. Brad has been like a little boy full of wonder and joy that he probably thought he’d never have. It’s sweet and infectious, and it certainly has me hooked, at least for now.

LOL. I’m laughing at myself now. At any rate…it’s a really well made trailor..darn…kinda hoped there would be a movie.

Oh, I meant to say that I agree that they are being quiet now because they are trying to figure all this out for themselves. Putting too much out there too soon only opens them up for scrutiny they don’t want or need. I can’t blame them for wanting to keep such deep feelings they have for each other private, since this relationship has moved so fast. I agree they will relax about it as time goes by because it’s clear they are soooo happy with each other.

Brad did say early on to Diane Sawyer he was trying to figure this out for himself first, and he already had gone on record as saying he was disappointed that too much had been put out in the public eye about the inner workings of his personal life before Angie. He said he didn’t like that, and it appears he didn’t want to make the same mistake again. Likewise with Angie. Billy Bob anyone?

I think it does seem that they are figuring it out nicely lately, because now Brad is saying things like “Don’t mess with me, man…3 kids in a year.” That shows he’s grown more confident in his ability to be the head of the family. He’s more and more comfortable with it, having gone from a childless man to the head of his own clan. They probably trust each other immensely, and once that bond is fully cemented, they will open up and talk just a little, which is really all they should do. Not too much…..I love the partial mystery of it, myself!
