‘We Are Marshall’ Stills

We Are Marshall Synopsis :: The story, of course, is about the emotional impact of the November 14, 1970, plane crash near Tri-State Airport that killed all 75 aboard a chartered jet and the resurgence of Marshall’s football program. The crash killed nearly the entire Marshall football team and coaching staff, supporters from the community and the flight crew.

I didn’t think I would be, but I’m going to see this. (NOT because of EITHER Matthew!) I almost cried just watching the preview a couple of weeks ago!

This movie looks so good. Not becasue of the two Matt’s but because of this incredible story. THEY ARE MARSHALL! GO HERD!

I cannot tell you how excited I am about this movie. I’m from Huntington, WV where Marshall is located and this story is still very near and dear to everyone who lives there. Although I moved in Aug 2005 to attend law school in Ohio, I was really ticked to find out they had ended up filming in the Frederick building — where my office was located before I moved! AAAHHHH! Anyhow, they’re hosting a local premiere on Dec. 12th, complete with a “green” carpet instead of red. I’m going to squeeze my way there and get some pics of the stars and the madness that is surely to erupt with a premiere in “nothing else to do” WV. If I get some good pics, I’ll share them with ya Jared! Afterall, I feel I owe you with all the Wentlicious pics you’ve been providing. WE ARE….MARSHALL! I was also amused to hear that a couple of high school girls challenged Matt M. to a race while he was jogging at a track in Huntington and they ended up beating him..hah. He mentioned it in one of our local press conferences.
