Alert the media!! Angelina Jolie eats ketchup with her french fries!! Haha!
What a ruckus Angelina must have caused for grabbing fast food at McDonald’s yesterday! Hundreds of people showed up for a glimpse of the Hollywood actress. If they saw anything, I’m sure they saw a mouthful.
Angelina, 31, chowed down a quickie lunch with three other people (two male, one female) at a McDonald’s location in Bombay (Mumbai), India around the set of her new film, A Mighty Heart. She looks like she really enjoyed her meal there — sipping on some soda and eating french fries.
The McDonald’s menu is different all over the world but if the colors on the McDonald’s India website match the sandwich wrappers, Angelina ate a McVeggie burger, which is a “breaded fried vegetable patty consist of peas, carrots, green, beans, red capsicum, potatoes, onions, rice and seasoning. The burger also includes lettuce, eggless mayonnaise in a toasted sesame seed bun.” Just thought you’d like to know! (;

Well said and totally agree absolutely! I love how they live and know Brad loves all his kids the same. Why do people want to not see that? It really sucks.
Inday, its just another excuse for some to criticize Ang. Nothing more and nothing less.
I still think the best chances for their first red carpet will be the Golden Globes. And I think next year they will loose a bit with Shiloh (they can’t hide her forever) and in general with the “public”. I understand this year they had to be really careful with the media, this year was a big change, I don’t expect the same for next year (from a PR point of view).

I don’t really care about the SMA award and basically think it is stupid. If the Editors at People Magazine now realize B & A knew what they were doing all along (like ritzygal claims) , what makes them think they have the right to set a criteria for what Brad and Angelina should do now?!!!
I really am over People magazine. Have been for a long time now. And why would Brad go through so much trouble for a SMA award again? He’s gotten that title already twice.
I say if Brad wants to have black hair, let him. If Angie does not want to the red carpet walk with Brad, then that’s her decision. And let them decide what they should or shouldn’t do. Let Brad decide when he wants to be seen playing with Shiloh, not People magazine. After all, if Ritz is right, then these editors doubted them for a long time and are now realizing that Brad and Angelina are good for each other. And now they think, they have a right to demand certain thing from them or set a criteria for what they should do so Brad can get a vain SMA award? Puh - lease.

I;m normally a lurker and have been a very long while. I’ve read your posts and sometimes I thought you were sincere in them but stayed cautious. I thought that lately you were really being on the up & up, and chilling with the “praise praise insult, praise praise insult” game, but ^^brought me back to reality. Being bipolar is not something to joke with and so you might want to get that checked out.
Oscar’s are not ALL about acting, a big part is how much money the productions companies and studios put in a well organized campaign. Best example are the Weinstein brothers.

What a beautiful way to start my day, and I’m still at work, will be off in 30 mins. But the sight of Angelina always brightens up my day and this is one of the reasons why I love this woman, she is just so down to earth. LOVE HER!

Actually, I think props have to be given to Ritzy. She’s dead on with the assessment. It’s what the people at the MAGAZINE want not her! Come on folks….can’t we acknowledge the truth when we read it? I do NOT agree with the assessment that Brad looks older than George though. He looks damn fine to me!! But, Clooney isn’t my type - he reminds me of my dad — not the age, just the way he carries himself with so much assurance — my dad is in his 70s!
I also want to know when African Girl became employed at People…was it because we wouldn’t kick in for her to “work” here?

I’m sorry. I don’t really believe you have any inside information. This is opinion gleaned from reading a variety of media sources, with your own insight mixed in, but not any inside look into the selection process.
George Clooney, though I love the man to death. You can ask anyone in my family how much I love him. I dated a man just because I thought he looked like him. But, Mr. Clooney is showing his age more than Brad Pitt. I love the man, but he is. He’s aging faster and you can see. The gray in Brad PItt’s beard does nothing but make him better looking. When he was younger Brad Pitt had such a pretty boy look, the age makes him more rugged and masculine and makes him look better.
George, I love him, I will love him always, but my man is getting old and you can tell. Honestly, though I love him, I don’t understand why he was chosen, because he hasn’t done much to me this year. There was a list the other day and some of the other choices made more sense, but George, I don’t understand why for this year.
I wouldn’t have chosen Brad Pitt either to be honest. I think that for one, he doesn’t want it, and also, I think that there are a lot of people who feel Jolie/Pitt have been overexposed and it would bring more exposure to them where it isn’t necessary.
People, honestly, seems to have a good relationship with Pitt,not a negative one, considering the stories they’ve done of Jolie/Pitt this year and nominating them most beautiful family.
George is a Hollywood type, but I love him for it. I think he does have integrity and charm and though he has no interest in getting married or settling down, I like his honesty and desire to be who he is. I don’t feel he bailed out on Pitt at all, I think they have a friendship and good working relationship, and I think they probably always will. He’s always been politically active and he, like Pitt, are part of that Hollywood group that is trying to make a difference in the world, including Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and his wife Jen Garner, all the rest of the rat pack.

i think brad would much rather be on the cover of Time or Newsweek again rather than People or any of the tabbies. the man’s priorities have changed and he probably laughs at his past of vanity every time he’s reminded of it.

Ok, this is my last post on this.
People Mag knows he dosen’t care about this tag. They know it. They are not demanding anything. But should any of the things I listed above actually happen, in the normal course of being Brad Pitt (and I do believe at least three need to happen–Oscar, red carpet, TAOJJ not tanking), they will give it to him. There is a real desire to bestow this on him one more time–he just needs to have a good year.
And as much as all three kids are equal parts in the family, she does hold more interest for ALL of these magazines. She is the 10 million dollar baby who is rarely seen.
AND she is theirs–a “direct descendant” of the most beautiful people in the world (as someone on this board previously and funnily put it).
It’s not fair to M&Z, but it’s the reality at these mags, People included.

The feeling is that if Brad is going to get this dumbass [my opinion] award again, this next year will probably be his best chance. As many of you know, this “award” as well as the “Most Beautiful Award” is a popularity contest. Yes he had The Baby, but he didn’t do much this year. He went through the black hair phase which was NOT popular and he was tucked away in other parts of the world (France, Namibia etc.) wearing the same clothes day after day. Babel is fine but it won’t make any money and is only interesting to the editors if it nets him an Oscar.
Some also think that he is showing his age and that if you look at him up close and compare him to Clooney, he is not aging well. THIS IS NOT MY OPINION but was talked about over the selection process.
And as much as we all want to see them hit the Oscar red carpet, People Magazine wants it too. They really do.
Shiloh will help his “cause” also. (And yes, I know and People knows he doesn’t give a **** about this award but some on staff still want to acknowledge him because of how he’s taken on fatherhood. Some want to see him out in the open with Shiloh and are giving him the next year in the hopes that they will not be so protective of her as she turns 1.)
Finally…Angelina. Last year, people were shell shocked by the rapid pace of events and rumors whizzing back and forth. Those people include the people who make up People. This year, everyone acknowledges that B&A are a formidable “brand” who seemed to know from the get-go something the rest of us did not: “that they were meant to be together and definitley knew what they were doing.” (The actual words of a Senior Staff Member at People.)
While the editors respect their joint desire for a normal life away from the Hollywood norm, they would like to see them “play a little.” That would take the form of a knockout appearance at The Academy Awards.
Some fear they might go the route of Paltrow and never walk a red carpet together.

Wow, too bad the editors of People Magazine are so uninformedaccrding to you. Any idiot knows the black hair was for a film and the wearing of the same clothes day & day? I think only haters say this. No one even noticed. As far as “showing his age, GOOD FOR HIM, no more fey girly man. And remember Sean Connery was SMA at age 75 years of age. Sexiness has nothing to do with age. EVERYONE knows that. Angelina is the woman who made people rediscover Brad Pitt again. And to be fair, vice versa as well. The ’speed” of their relationship should not have come as a surprise to the editors of People, since they are in the industry.
They were well aware of the “marriage on paper” of Brad & Jennifer. Yes, Yes we all know the SMA is a popularity contest boosted by publicists campaigning for their clients. It’s just fan magazine fun and a reason to sell more off the newstands. That’s it. People Magazine knows that. They just showed The View and were showing clips from Barabara Walters interviews with past SMA’s. Brad was so cool, he was giving advice to George on how to get that another title. It was funny, non serious and all in good fun like this SMA. So all the information you gave as to why he wasn’t chosen is suspect and coming from your point of view IMO. SMA is just not that serious.
