The other thing about this being given to George shows you the sad state of affairs in Hollywood. They pick a guy who’s 45 yrs old and I’m sorry aging FAST. Where are all the hot, young actors out there? Look at the top three all over 40. Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and yes Tom Cruise. Throw Clooney into the mix and he’s 45.

There isn’t a single young actor who’s captured the imagination of the public in way people feel and still feel about say a Brad Pitt.

i have never wanted to strangle lainey as much as i want to right now. the smell of her own crap must be gasseous and intoxicating. having children for the sake of an award is beneath the jolie-pitts and it’s very low of her to let her mind descend there. get out of the gutter lainey, you’ll only find chin and her happy there.

So Angie is eating at McD’s huh? I rememeber eating at one in India. The fries were good and the veggie burger was okay. Yes, in India, they don’t have hamburgers because cows are not eaten there. Now, India is filled with McD’s, Pizza Huts, and KFC’s. Those are three main American chain restuarants that work over there since these places have a lot of veg stuff and chicken. Chicken is okay to eat, but pork, beef, turkey, and basically any other kind of meat is a big no no. Except goat is okay…but I don’t think anyone makes goat burgers…hmmm. okay I just grossed myself out with my endless rant. LOL. Time to stop.. =P

Somebody please b*tch slap Lainey. She went over the line with this comment of hers. I don’t think she’s ever been a real fan of these two. More like, she despises X so much, that somehow it pushed her to like Brad and Angelina. Her love notes to Putrid are also puke - worthy. Sorry it that sounds harsh, but I get the feeling Lainey is not a real fan. She admires the beauty but anything else these two has to be PR stunt for Brad’s Oscar bid. She really gets on my last nerves sometimes.

I’m afraid we never will, Brad is perfection. If I designed a man geneticaly he would look like Brad. He’s not just a once in a life time, he’s the man by which all will be measured in the future, I feel sorry for them, never has the bar set so high.

Sorry Meow, I think we ought to let this crop of 40 somethings have their day in the sun. Back when Brad and George and Johnny were in their thirties and twenties - they couldn’t catch a break with all the old fogies being offered the good parts (leaving the ‘boy becomes man’ parts, eclectic weirdo parts, or superheroes to those well shy of 40) - it was all about those ancient dinosaurs like Michael Douglas, Jack Nicholson, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Pacino, DeNiro, etc….it’s only recently that the dinosaurs have kind of been shifted off pasture, and the younger guys now hitting early 40’s or late thirties get to shine as leading men.

They haven’t been there that long. Let them enjoy it before you usher in a group of guys who haven’t paid their dues to the party.

I think if we didn’t see men as sexually viable til they’re like…90…this wouldn’t happen. Guys seem to not have an expiration date among some, enabling them to hang in a lot longer than females, as we all know. If anyone can’t catch a break it’s usually those ‘young’ guys who are waiting in the wings for the oldiesn (waving to old man Douglas) to FINALLY shuffle on out of the way (as Pitt, Clooney, Damon, Crowe, and Depp can attest). Never before have we had so many young-ish guys who are also leading men…from Leo, to Mark Wahlberg, Jason Statham, Matt…it NEVER used to be this way if you recall…it was ALL old fogies closing in on 50.

You know who I really think put a nail in the head of these old guys coffins and has to be given a LOT of credit?

Russell Crowe.

He came on in Gladiator like the embodiment of all that is vibrant and male. Testosterone personified (when I think Gibson was considered for this at one time, I shudder).

I think after his performance, it was like a wake up call among those studios that kept recycling the old fogies…look, the women out there don’t want to see Douglas’ old behind — they never did….either get THIS guy (Crowe) or get someone like him.

ITA on Perez, he got backbones. Or I really do hope. A danger is that he is ambitious and Huvane & co. must be on campaign to get him off X’s back. He could be bought, maybe… Lainey I like also because she sees who X is, actually most celeb bloggers do see throught her fraudulent behavior and called it. I don’t care what else she says about other people so much, ITA on Paltrow. I don’t care about her at all but it’s interesting she has taken a liking on K. Dunst recently. She also hates Sci. So does most but today she had some disturbing thing about Brook Shiels possibly being recruited!
