I’m sorry but isn’t three installments of Pirates enough. I would love to Johnny finally doing something else. Love Jack Sparrow, but I think that it’s enough.

Keira was one i was looking forward to see in PoTC2 to see how her character developed. I loved that she was “one of the boys” when it came to swashbucklin
stuff. Look forward to seeing her in 3, if she doesn’t do 4, that’s cool, just will go to see her in any other movie she makes!!!

this isn’t a big surprise seeing as how she seems to get a lot more attention and hype by making a more “mature”-i.e. “Oscar Flick.” There is no doubt that she’d rather be thought of as a talented actress rather than a fanboy’s wetdream. Plus, a fourth flick? That’s just overdoing too much of a good thing. Let’s not hope if that if made it turns into the next King Arthur.

I honestly don’t think the franchise needs Keira to continue being successful, but I hope after ‘At Worlds End’ that it’s finally enough. I enjoy the movies, but 3 is good enough, imo.

I think them making a POTC 4 would be a mistake, stick with 3 anything beyond that, nah except for Johnny, yum yum.

I love this site. And I am not just saying that to get the free DVD :) I went to see this in the movies and had to bring my 3 year old along. No babysitter. He started screaming during the part with the Kraken. So I have to wait for the DVD to be able to see the whole thing. I can’t wait for the next one to come out too.

I actually hated this movie but love Keira and Orlando Bloom. I’ve never really liked Johnny Depp, but I’ve gotta say that his performance as captain Jack Sparrow really changed that for me.
I think that these movies should bow out gracefully, but I’m sure Disney will keep cranking them out as long as they can continue to milk the cash cow!

i agree with those sayin that three POTC’s are enough… why is it that movie studios have to make sequels to EVERY blockbuster nowadays?! just because something works doesn’t mean it needs to be stretched out like that..

soo.. although it’s understandable for keira to say that she wouldn’t want to do a 4th, why does she have to make it sound so horrible? it was The Curse of the Black Pearl that made her the star that she is, so give it a little credit!

The POTC movies are great, but they realy wouldn’t be the same without Keira. She is one of the main charactors. And the way things are going between her charactor and Jack sparrow from the first two movies, the movies just wouldn’t be POTC anymore. It would just be a letdown. The other bloggers are right, because she was in three movies involving POTC already then the fourth really won’t effect her. It’s the third that will, so why not make anymore movies for POTC. Why leave anyway when the movies are great, and everybody loves them.
