Brad Pitt was spotted leaving the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s office, in Mumbai, India, earlier this morning. Indian police on Friday arrested three British bodyguards working for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie after they allegedly roughed up parents and students at a Mumbai school where the star was filming scenes for her latest movie, police said. UPDATE :: Angelina Jolie addresses the arresting of her bodyguards: “It is not surprising that the press involved failed to mention their share of the responsibility in the chaos. As for this horrible rumor that someone referred to a local man as a ‘bloody Indian,’ let me say this: I would never work with anyone that was derogatory towards another man’s race. My family is of mixed race.”

Were YOU there? From what is coming out it was the paps that were blocking the gate keeping the parents from getting in. THAT is where the argument started. AS of now there is no proof that any of angie’s guards said anything racist or did anything wrong! The video does not show the guards … only the media and the Indian civilians pushing and being pushed.
Just because you seem to have this hatred toward Jolie is no reason to make statements like that with no facts.

MUMBAI: A N Roy has probably seen innumerable celebrities in his high-powered stint but none as rare as this.
On Friday afternoon, the police commissioner played host to Hollywood megastar Brad Pitt, who came to him to plead the cause of his bodyguards arrested that morning for allegedly threatening parents of students of the Anjuman-e-Islam school the previous day.
The fracas, which had taken place on the school grounds during the shooting of A Mighty Heart, turned ugly when the bodyguards reportedly manhandled the parents and called them “bloody Indians”.
Brad, in a white half-sleeved shirt and dark trousers, turned up minus Angelina but with a motley group comprising producer Dede Gardner, actor Irfan Khan, Kailash and Arti Surendranath, activist Avisha Kulkarni and deputy commissioner of zone I, Brijesh Singh.
Brad firmly but politely told Roy that none of his bodyguards had threatened or touched the students or abused Indians or Islam, as alleged in the complaint lodged by some parents with the Azad Maidan police station.
“There were dozens of media cameramen at the school and they would have shot the misbehaviour if it had taken place,” he said.
As a film unit and as individuals we respect all religions and human beings. We are committed to tolerance and human values indeed, this film is being produced because Daniel Pearl was committed to human values.
It is unthinkable that anyone would have uttered the things that are being attributed to them. But if any misunderstanding has been caused, we apologise for it.”
A subtle duel of sorts erupted between the star and the cop when Brad demanded to know whether people could be arrested on a mere complaint and without
giving them an opportunity to get their version across. Roy replied that police are duty-bound to record a complaint and that they were arrested according to the Indian law.
“We will have an inquiry, for which those three arrested will have to be present at the police station daily,” he said. “If our inquiry shows that there is nothing much to the incident, the matter will be closed.”
“So it’s a question of some people’s word against others?” interjected Brad. “No,” said Roy. “We will be making our inquiries with all the persons concerned and then take a call.”
See Brad stood up for those guards, and Indian Law is interesting, Brad should file a complaint against the paps that were there, that is what he should do and then leave the county.

Thanks for the article about angie and the baby, very nice. Now that the movie is finally over I hope they leave as soon as posible before something more happens, at this point I expect anything from the press. I Never tought that they will have more peace and space in L.A, I bet NO we’ll be a nice change from India.
Finally the lesson learnt from this ugly incident: Don’t work with local production companies. Filming at school hours was a really stupid decision. Since they arrived to Mumbai and shoot in public locations the film crew knew the razzis were there all the time, so mixing parents, kids, razzis and bodyguards was a formula for disaster.

Brad is lying. Mickey is a criminal and a maniacal thug. I’m going to assume that these other two guys are thuggish also (most bodyguards are).
I believe the parents’ assertions that the three used the racial and religious slurs against them and for Brad to say that ‘with all of his heart’ the allegations are not true, is just a bald-faced LIE.
This is truly disappointing because no matter who started the ruckus, those bodyguards eagerlt put their hands on these people who WERE NOT CARRYING CAMERAS.
I know Mickey is Angelina’s guard but he is “protecting” the whole family and now is considered Brad’s guy too. He is hurting Brad’s rep and Brad needs to step up and say he doesn’t want him around his family. They can get a more reliable bodyguard with less baggage anywhere.
But all this has done is to make Brad look bad. Angelina too, but she didn’t really have far to fall. :)
Brad was so shocked to hear the anti-american sentiment in Amsterdam but look at how he is adding to the arrogant american rep in other parts of the world. Namibia and now India.
This is the kind of stuff that puts stress on a relationship. Beware…

I think you are totally being unfair in your accusations that Micky is a criminal. He was arrested and investigated for a murder before but was exonerated and found not guilty. I know you never like Angelina and im not sure also if you are truly a Brad fan, but you seem to be an overcritical person and bring only negative vibes to this board.
