Brad Pitt was spotted leaving the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s office, in Mumbai, India, earlier this morning. Indian police on Friday arrested three British bodyguards working for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie after they allegedly roughed up parents and students at a Mumbai school where the star was filming scenes for her latest movie, police said. UPDATE :: Angelina Jolie addresses the arresting of her bodyguards: “It is not surprising that the press involved failed to mention their share of the responsibility in the chaos. As for this horrible rumor that someone referred to a local man as a ‘bloody Indian,’ let me say this: I would never work with anyone that was derogatory towards another man’s race. My family is of mixed race.”

Brad looks like he’s having a wild time in India. He probably thinks this is exciting and funny at the same time. I mean, in India, I would expect something like this to happen to top stars like Brangelina. I am sure he is taking this with a grain of salt…because let’s face it… it is INDIA. And anyone who’s been there knows what it’s like. But I do feel bad that they have to go through this krap. India should realize that Brangelina could have given the country good publicity and raised their tourism, bringing more money to the country. But instead they don’t care. Now, instead Brangelina may have brought bad publicity to india. In fact, I am sure there are Indians wishing that Brangelina never came to their country.
“psycho Brangelina fans?” wtf? Why oh why does Lainey attack us? Us and only us? She doesn’t make any cracks about fans of Tom Cruise, and fans of the X, but always manages to put in a dig against us. Is she jealous of us because of our unswerving loyalty to this couple?
Sounds like Lainey has been reading the posts at Jared and is not happy about certain people slamming her.What I find interesting is why in the h#ll would she care?The lady is a gossip hack,aren’t they supposed to be more thick skinned when it comes to insults?

i just read the funniest thing! CLOONEY STEERS CLEAR OF THE LIMELIGHT? WTF? where have you been? sorry, but clooney makes a spectacle of himself as OFTEN as possible and makes sure he drops brad’s name to ensure that he stays in the limelight. you were right about matt damon. the man is about making movies and that’s it. but clooney? he’s a couch and a cult away from being tom cruise!

Yeah, TOMKAT’s wedding coverage is everywhere, but who does he have helping him out? JLo and Marc A (and we don’t even see the connection, they’ve never been shown to be friends), the Beckhams, Jim Carrey and Jenny M, and most importantly, SURI CRUISE (whom we have never seen out before except for the VF cover). While the coverage for the latest BAMZS incident is just Brad and Angelina, with a little helping from Mickey.

Everyone in India was only too happy to accept the money they brought with them. Why is that? They bring chaos with them? I don’t think so. More like the money grubbers, hotel staff, local, national and international media, all wanting a buck and the regular Indian ciitizens who might gain a dollar by saying someone called them a name. India is a chaotic and unfortunate country and I bet HW will neer do another shoot there. I will never plan a visit there. Aggressive and chaotic. What a horrible country.

gitane - where the hell are you from? because i live in this town and in the industry and GC manages to get around town all day, including grocery shopping, WITHOUT a tidalwave of papz on his ass. in fact, the man can have a cup of java at a local coffeeshop and no one but the people, i.e. some of us writing this, know about it. we don’t have minute to minute updates on his life ala Tomkat or BAMZS. anyhow, i’ve got more important things to do like GC’s makeup. . .

Adrymala, that’s because GC stories are not juicy enough for the media and tabloids. Remember during the summer all the break up rumors on all magazines complete with pictures? BA are a controversial and unconventional couple and that is the best kind of news to the press. They are followed because controversy follows them almost everywhere they go and the paps want to be there to catch all of it when it happens.

The press is always going to be up their butts about everything because they (this family) can generate viewership..
A mere mention of Brad’s name on Oprah sent things off (even though she was comparing him to poop). If the media can’t find facts, they make things up or at the very least blow little things out of proportion.
What concerns me is that it isn’t just tabloids anymore. So-called reputable networks and publications have jumped on the bandwagon.
The more successful and happy Brad and Angelina become, the more they cement their realationship with family, the longer they last as a couple against all odds…..the more they are attacked and scrutinized.
What is going on here is that when this exeptional couple got together under less than optimal conditions, it was “Yeah Brad wants to get him some of that Angelina.” mentality, and they were waiting for him to come undone when confronted with her “freakiness” .
Now that not only did he prove them wrong on that point, but their relationship and careers are thriving. Now the media must find other ways to bring them down. And they will not let truth get in the way! I see what’s really going on, and they do too.
okay, i’m feeling a little guilty now because i took a really sharp dig at AG’s dear clooney. I’m not sure what you are asking…are you saying that if the parents at the school were indeed mad about the subject matter of the movie and acting out about that, then they aren’t doing anything but reinforcing the violent stereotype that many Americans (wrongfully) believe about Muslims?

I guess what I am asking is why, if the parents disagree with the terrorists..would they care if the school was used? The movie isnt going to be negative against all muslims..only those who believe in what the terrorists do. I presume that those at that school dont believe this way..and would only welcome a movie that showed balance.
When I see or hear them complain and maybe spread false accusations, I wonder about their beliefs.

Well there were some people on the other thread discussing that possibly some people in India have a bit of a “persecution complex”. I don’t totally discount that a similar mindset could have escalated this incident at the school.
Our USA media reports things way too soon. So, of course they are reporting this story before all the facts are known. And I am sure once it turns out not to be as SENSATIONAL as first reported, (like how Angie didn’t actually run down that student on the scooter) they will drop the whole thing, and people will be left with the negative story in their minds.

The paps have been gunning for Micky ever since he put that chokehold on that pap photog…..funny how they have footage of that incident and the pap involved didn’t press charges??? Why??? Maybe Micky was doing his job keeping that pap at bay…..just like Angelina said in her statement that the press do not take responsibility for this incident. India WANTED B&A to come to Pune and by default invited the pap frenzy that has ensued. Brad & Angie walk out in public w/ two of their kids but it’s never enough for the greedy paps…..they want more!
