OlderBrad Pitt Takes it to the Court
Brad Pitt was spotted leaving the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s office, in Mumbai, India, earlier this morning. Indian police on Friday arrested three British bodyguards working for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie after they allegedly roughed up parents and students at a Mumbai school where the star was filming scenes for her latest movie, police said. UPDATE :: Angelina Jolie addresses the arresting of her bodyguards: “It is not surprising that the press involved failed to mention their share of the responsibility in the chaos. As for this horrible rumor that someone referred to a local man as a ‘bloody Indian,’ let me say this: I would never work with anyone that was derogatory towards another man’s race. My family is of mixed race.”

This incident in Mumbai is so totally blown out of proportion, simply because it involves BP and AJ. The school must have given its OK to shoot scenes there, so I would say that it was their responsibility to warn the parents about this, which they obvious didn’t. So how does this translate into being Angie’s fault? Not to mention the papz who want to get their money shot, schoolchildren or not in the way.
BTW, ‘bloody’ is not a racial slur. It’s like a British way of saying ‘damn.’ Like ‘bloody idiot,’ or ‘bloody hell.’ Seeing that Britain has a lot of history with India, I’m sure they are quite aware of this, but I suppose it makes for more sensational news to liken it to a racial slur.

Seriously you people give way to much power to this Lainey chick. She’s a blogger from Vancouver who got this following because some Canadian posted her website on a Brad/Angie fan board. Now, she knows where her bread is buttered. As long as she writes and says things about the Jolie-Pitts she’s sure to get hits and then sponshorship i.e. MONEY for her site and herself.

It’s all about the Muslim angle at this school. You’ve got these parents saying they’ve suffored an affront to religion. Well, who’s religion? Not mine and I’m sure not theirs. This story is a sensitive subject because you have Jewish American man murdered by Islamic Fundamentalists but these people are ridiculous.
I blame the director , the Indian production company and the Indian Media for all of the garbage going on down there.

I don’t want to burst your Porgie bubble, but Porgie can do all those things because nobody gives a sh#t about him - in LA or elswhere. It’s one of the things that makes his People SMA award so funny. Yeah, he’s got fans…but he’s NEVER been anywhere near as popular a movie star as Brad is, nor have his relationships been scrutinized with a microscope. Clooney has to work hard to generage press. On the otherhand, since Brad became a bonafide star everything he does has made the tabs. Especially these days. Porgie has to work had to keep his name in the public consciousness…why else does he drop Brad’s name in every interview since he first met the him?

Maybe these Islamic parents believe that this movie is going against their religion or making their religion look bad and that’s why they caused a ruckus at the school and (maybe false) filed police reports. I definitely think this has to do with RELIGION. Imagine then if this happened in Pakistan or any other Islamic country? It would have been far worse and far more dangerous for them.

That is a excellant email and no way does it sound like some crazed “Brangelina” fan calling her out. Oh my….this situation has gone from bad to worse. I wonder how many more days of shooting is left.
Please, let’s not be too hasty in saying this is a muslim thing. To do so is painting all Muslims as Terrorists. My brother, uncles and Father are muslims and they don’t condone what the terrorists did. The mosque my brothers attend had a special prayer session for the 9/11 victims. Just as any religion has its fanatics, so do the muslims. The idea that muslims are violent is ridiculous….islamic teachings are about peace.
The blame obviously lies at the paparazzi’s feet. They are out of control….doing anything to get a picture. Mike Brett and the bodygaurds are doing their jobs. It’s amazing that people condemn them for doing their jobs. If the paparazzis weren’t there…behaving like animals, there won’t be a problem. It was a 20mins shoot for goodness sakes….not a days shooting. They could have just been in and out if the stupid paparazzis didn’t get in the way. The law enforcement agencies are partly to blame….believe me, I understand how unruly the crowd can get but it is their job to control the crowd and if they were doing what they’re supposed to do, this could have been controlled. Anyway, like everyone else, I can’t wait for the shooting to be over.
