OlderCasino Royale Opens Today
Daniel Craig and Casino Royale co-star Eva Green take the cover of the Nov. 24 issue of Entertainment Weekly, out on newsstands today. Ticket sales for Casino Royale in the U.K. box office during its first day of release on Thursday, earned a whopping $3.2 million. Waa-waa-wee-waa-waa! Casino Royale has to open with $47+ million in ticket sales this weekend in order to to beat Die Another Day (Pierce Brosnan).

I saw this movie at midnight, for the first showing and I thought it was pretty damn good. Daniel Craig really worked this role! When people were leaving, all they could say was how they were skeptical at first, but he definitely filled the 007 shoes.

THIS WAS A GREAT MOVIE! Craig makes a fantastic bond, what he lacks in “Bronson looks” he makes up for. Go see it all ready. Super action, and he is by far the best actor they ever had in the role. Yeah, chicks were hot too.
Sorry, but he won’t be with her for long. The body language says it all: she’s leaning into him in every picture, and he’s leaning away from her.
Their body language is fine. He’s not leaning away from her. I predict a some what long relationship.
I don’t know about the EW covers. They had Brad and Cate on last month and Brad looked much older than he does in other recent photos and now the same here. The cover makes Daniel Craig look old when you can see from the candid shots he is quite good looking. EW needs to do better.
I can’t stand Bond movies but I enjoy Craig’s acting in the movies so I might hae to and see this.

Satsuki Mitchell is a mix of Japanese-Caucasian and is beautiful. Daniel Craig is handsome. He has lovely blue eyes. Great photos!

I just went to see Casino Royale last nite and DC is THE hottest bond ever! Almost every love scene I wanted it to be me in his arms - and I never felt like that about any other bonds.

In my little fantasy world I think he’d still hold a torch for her if they did, and (BP fans don’t kill me now) DC is more of ‘a bit of rough’ which I know AJ prefers.

Will be going again this weekend and cannot wait for the DVD. I’ll be buying two, since i’m sure i’ll probably wear one out from the repeated stop/play action.

Not spending her birthday together would most definitely mean they are split. For now. Now I remember what I was going to say a while back when we started getting technical problems. I was going to say that I’m not sure that Daniel would go to Cannes by himself. I know that he is not the insecure one, but it is true that he has gone from one woman to the next in pretty quick succession. So if his past history is any indication, and he does go to Cannes, he may either reconcile with the gf and get her to go with him (and since she has no pride she would do it in a heartbeat) OR, a more interesting possibility is that he shows up with a NEW filler woman! I say a filler, kind of like Kate Moss and Sienna were for him between Heike and this last gf. The other possibility is that he does not go to Cannes at all. When v. said he would not go in a professional way, I think she was just saying that he has no reason to go as he has no new film to promote there so IF he went it wouldn’t be for that reason, and it is possible also for that reason that he would not go at all. And he may not go if he had to go by himself.

James, I worked at the Cannes festival for 2 festivals 2 years in a row- and I am telling you the press are like hound dogs. They are like swarms of bees.
And cannes is a tiny little town.
After the fiasco at St barts/Mr. Chows and The Ivy, he may have had enufff of all of the pap attention and may want to try to lay low and hang out at home, reading or just watching tv or doing everyday stuff and not court the high profile events, and press animals- like cannes would be for him-
And Daniel has been there before and he knows what a hassle staying low profile there can be.
I have to agree Jimmy. I can’t see him wanting to go to Cannes if he just wants to keep a low profile and has no reason to go for business or career. Don’t a lot of actors and film makers use the high profile festivals like that to try to raise funds for their projects? That’s the only reason I could see him going for.
Still now bites upstairs. I bet the cinderellas were desperately searching the net looking for whatever they could find about the gf’s birthday, but came up with NOTHING, so they are just keeping quiet!

yes, everyone in the industry goes to the festivals to make deals upon deals and it is a 10-day SCHMOOZ fest- LOTS of MEET and GREET stuff and fans galore- can’t get away from the fans or the paps.
And you are ‘on’ 24/7- always meeting people and being with people- and it is a erally super-social event-
I can just see daniel wanting to skip it this year- too much stuff to deal with in cannes.

Oh Jimmy! It is so hilarious!! I just went to read upstairs and the cinderella’s came out in force overnight! Blathering on about what a romantic and special birthday the gf got from Daniel. It would not surprise me if these were ALL psycho eve. Remember “Clara” and “Caitlin”? Well this time it’s “Kimmy” and “Khloe”. K’s instead of C’s this time you see. And funny how “tigerlilly” always seems to be around when psycho eve is. And it’s just so weird that she is always on throughout the entire early morning hours! That celeb couple could be Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer, or were they together back then? Also, because they refer to them as a celeb couple, don’t think Daniel and the gf qualify as he is the only celeb in that relationship. But does prove your point about fake relationships. Though I don’t think Daniel and the gf have had a fake relationship, just an unfortunate one. She was a longtime “filler” I think. Thank goodness that he must be finally getting out of it now!

I may have mentioned this a while ago to you, but those necklaces are entirely different,
I saw a beach photo of them at St Barts and I blew up the photo to see both necklaces-
her’s is like gold plated- or gold- and bigger.
His is silver and a tiny little square/box thing on it-
Both necklaces are of different things-
NOT at all the same necklace-
NOT a “his and hers” type of thing.
And the charm on her neckalce is much bigger and different than the little silver box thing on his necklace.

ALSO I have been checking the other gossip sites, other blinds- nothing yet about daniel at all….
They may be different necklaces, but I still can’t see him choosing to wear something like that on his own accord. It’s just tacky looking to me. She still could have bought it for him. He probably prefers silver to gold, like the ring he used to wear when he was with Heike. Have you ever seen old pictures of him where he is wearing a necklace before this one? Maybe there are, but I’ve never seen one. So maybe he’s not the necklace wearing kind of guy, but has worn this one out of obligation. When you have a piece of jewelry on like that for so long, you will forget about it being there; so in those last pictures, even though he still has it on, if they had just split, he may not have even thought about it yet to take it off. But if they are split for real now for several weeks, I bet he has taken it off by now.
I wonder if Daniel is not even in London right now. Seems like if he were in London, the paps would still get a picture of him now and then, he’s got to leave his house sometimes. He may have gone off to stay with a friend somewhere, just to make sure the gf couldn’t find him if she were to come looking.

james- at the 2007 Independent Spirt Awars, when he had that beard thing going on and he had the white casablanca hat on, he was wearing another necklace that had a yin/yang sign on it- it had a tiny teeny navy and white ying/yang charm on it.
And it looked more like rope or cord, and it was not a silver chain but more of a dark cord that he wore.
Because yin/yang is an oriental philosophy, maybe the gf gave him that one.
Yes, i saw that silver ring he wore with heike, but now I don’t think i have seen him wear that, have you?
ALSO- good point about daniel not being in London-
Maybe he is holed up in his new home, or he is out in the countryside staying with friends/family out there…

It is very possible that he Drove to his destination, and not flown, unless it was a private jet airport, but even at private jet airports, the paps and press are staked out like all over the place-

Daniel in a white Casablanca style hat? I have never seen him in such a look. I would love to see that! I agree that if Daniel is off somewhere else enjoying some quiet and privacy he surely drove. Thanks for that picture! You might hate me for saying this, but I actually don’t mind that necklace on him so much. It kind of hearkens back to his more “bohemian” days. Maybe he genuinely did lose that one! It suits him much better than that tack he was last seen wearing. I was picturing a much wider brimmed and brighter white style fedora, more 40s style, when you said Casablanca hat. I actually don’t mind the little 60s style one he’s wearing in the Alpha Omega pictures either. It’s just that his whole look there is rather rumpled. Of course, WE know why!

And some people even take Easter Monday off too.
But the gossip sites do NOT post during the weekends or on Holidays…and they may not post on Easter Monday either, depending…

Hi Jimmy! It’s probably going to be pretty quiet here the rest of the weekend because of the holiday. Have you heard about the Bruce Springsteen affair thing? Just asking as apparently Bruce made a public statement on his website about how much he loved his wife. Just another example proving that men who get caught or found out cheating or having cheated always have to do these public statements to appease their significant others. Just like Daniel’s public “declaration” at the QofS premier. That was completely coerced I’m sure!

how much do you want to bet that daniel has heard quite a few times from other people that the gf is only stickin around for the beau-coup bucks and the ginormous meal ticket.

But I bet that Danile has heard thru the grapevine that she is after his money and I also think that if she could get pregnant, she would have by now…just to sang him.
Well if you’re a normal healthy person that is the right attitude to have. But you can see in this gf’s case, she’s neurotic and insecure, she’s unattractive with no real respectable accomplishments of her own merit, who has an incredibly good looking, sexy and super successful actor who is generous to a fault. She knows she will have absolutely no chance with anyone comparable to Daniel again. Even if they have split, she is probably going to try every scheme she can think of to try and get him back. You know she must be desperate. If she loses Daniel, in her mind she has no chance in life. Although, if she just tried to do something normal that she could actually succeed at she’d probably be fine, like being a phys ed teacher or some kind of girl’s sport coach. LOL

Although they could be someone from Daniel’s management, I don’t think they found this board because of a phone call, because for one thing, I don’t believe anyone has actually ever called his “office.” I think those are always just empty threats and lies trying to intimidate. I also don’t think anyone would bother debunking anything on a single gossip board. Rumor control is usually put out in the form of press releases or in response to phone calls from the press, and usually not until something has made it’s way into the press. Do you agree? I still haven’t figured out if “v” started signing with a “v” before or after you used the veracity term. I found where they had been using V a ways back before we had really realized it at the time.
Your own experience. See! And being taken in by someone on the pretense of love is not exclusive to one sex either. Nice women get taken in by unworthy men and vice versa. It’s just a good thing that Daniel never actually married the woman so at least he won’t loose too much financially to her in a split, although it could be argued that he has lost a lot already in the publicity wh*ring he has engaged in with her to this point.

I’m not sure. I thought the bond poster might be 3040 because they were responding to me signing as james, so they signed bond, and I was addressing 3040 in that james post. I think if v. was catching up on the board she would see that we think psycho eve has been banned and she no longer needs to fear. I guess we will just have to let things play themselves out and things will reveal themselves as more posts are made.

Jimmy, I don’t think 3054 is v. and/or is not the same poster as 3055 because v. always put “to” before the number she’s addressing, and also that poster said they only knew about Daniel’s guarding his daughter’s privacy through reading interviews. I don’t think v. would have said something like that.

Oh Jimmy. It’s like having a bad hangover the next morning after a great party. As you will see upstairs, psycho eve has not been banned after all. :( I hope that person who said they will contact JJ if she comes back, does. It was so pleasant last night getting to be upstairs with other posters without her interference. I still think the best solution is for people to completely ignore her. And so, we should be brave and continue to post upstairs, completely ignoring her even if she keeps trying to dominate the board, and hopefully the other posters will follow suit. Well, it was a nice dream wasn’t it?
Jimmy, it’s horrible. Psycho eve is posting under all sorts of names and numbers, but everyone knows it’s her. v. came on the board a couple of times, then psycho tried to post that v. was wannabe trying to throw v. into disrepute. Yeah, but Jimmy, she said the gf was with him in her “capacity as such”. That sounds like v. It very well could be that “break” time is over like she put it. I still think they had a huge fight right before the first light awards, but they very well could be doing something together again as the front they have been putting up. When that happened, remember I did say I thought it may be temporary and that they may get together again maybe a time or two more this year before it is over for good. But let’s wait and see what else she says. But psycho eve cannot write like v. I can’t see her using that “capacity” term. Keep fishing for info thought to see what you think.

I admit Jimmy, it is very confusing and causes me to second guess things. Just like we discussed that day “v.” posted about pictures showing up soon, we were somehow figuring it wasn’t her because of the timeline between that post and a previous day or so saying that Daniel and gf were not in the same location. But again, if it is not v. then how come the real v. doesn’t come on and set it straight. Unless we really have been taken in this whole time. I just don’t think so though. Psycho’s spelling is so horrendous and v.’s has been pretty good so far. We will just have to wait and see. Wait for new pictures of Daniel to see if what this v. said is true or not. And I am so glad to we have this system in place to be able to discuss these things in private! We are so lucky Jimmy that we have this!!

Jimmy, I was going back over the posts from “I know.” Now I’m not so sure about them. They didn’t really get irate and sounded pretty sensible. If they are for real and NOT psycho, then the same thing happened to them as happened to you. But do you believe that story or is it something Wannabe would say because she knows about such a story as that (you and her). Jimmy, if this gets through than I am lucky. I think like you said, with all the banning going on it is affecting everyone. Don’t know how you’ve been getting through. If this gets through, I’m just telling you I’m here, but may not get on again. I’ve emailed JJ telling them I haven’t been able to post anymore. Hopefully they will fix the problem soon, but it may be tomorrow before we can get back on again. We’ll see.
Jimmy, so far so good! Maybe they fixed whatever was wrong. Are you still able to get back on? If not then you won’t be able to answer me! LOL I tell you something I ended up having to do, I set up a real free mail account so I could have a real email to use on here and also I went into my browser preferences and changed my network connection settings to “auto-detect proxy setting for this network” That is how it is worded for Firefox browser anyway, you may have to use your browser help feature IF you need to do this, but first just try with the normal setting you’ve been using. Of course all of this may be moot as you are not having trouble at all and can get back on here with no problems. Hope so!

This is blind for obvious reasons. Don’t want to put him in the sh-thouse when he gets home but also a great example of how they work with them, the paparazzi, they all work with them every day. They negotiate, they choreograph, they rehearse, and they reshoot. It’s part of the job. Don’t believe them when they complain.
I’ve been interested in this one because I remember Daniel used to smoke, but doesn’t seem to anymore (other than cigars). But then this talks about the “Mrs.” or this person’s wife, and just hoping this is not Daniel; Several people have been eliminated already though however, and today she eliminated Clive Owen. He USED to smoke. There are old pictures of him smoking a cig, but no, I don’t think he smokes cigarettes anymore, we would have surely seen him doing it in St Barths if he did. Unless he’s sneaking them! But some other guesses on this make more sense, Matt Damon (very plausible) and Hugh Jackman (not really a “serious” actor though). I hope it’s not Daniel, just want to make sure.

vanessa Minello though used to be a MTV VJ and she is younger and attached herself to Nick Lacchey right before he divorced jessica simpson. She has donw nothing since, but people know her bec of her MTV vj work and she has been a guest star on many shows and awards shows etc etc etc. She is still in the public eye as a D list actress/host.
She has latched onto Nick Lachey for the same reasons that the gf has latched onto daniel.

What this tells me is that whoever this person is, they have been on the board a long time, longer than me, because I have never seen the picture referenced in this post. As you know, I’ve been on here since the St Barths fiasco. But it seems kind of a strange subject for IOS/v. to address. Don’t you think?
Another thing I did was to check the time stamps on these posts. This was when Wannabe was posting as “Insider” about the secret wedding plans and IOS disputed them. I found pairs of posts where the time stamps would have made it impossible for Wannabe to be posting as IOS, and I don’t think Wannabe was sophisticated enough at this point to be using the two-tab method. So I think we can confidently rule out that IOS/v. is Wannabe, at least in the early days. Now I do believe Wannabe has impersonated v. lately in order to cause confusion, but v. has come back at her to dispute them, so that’s why these latest posts are confusing, because we didn’t think v. posted about the pictures, but now says she/he did. I’m beginning to have my doubts again about the authenticity of v. Jimmy. I don’t know. We may have been taken in. I’m embarrassed to confess to you that I was somewhat taken in by Wannabe’s psychic (although I saw her story unraveling when she got into the whole game developer thing). repeats herself over and over like a broken record and has consistent spelling mistakes with the same words over and over.
When eve wannabe impersonates v., you will see that eve copies and pastes v.’s posts and the exact lines of what v. says. Nothing is original in the imposter v.’s posts.
Hello Jimmy! In that post I pasted, v. is talking about smart head’s picture, and the 2010 thing has to do with Wannabe’s “Insider” from that thread saying they were planning a secret wedding. You should go back and read it. I see v. has posted upstairs, but look, she used the word “sweetheart” so it must be psycho eve.

So far only the red carpet pre-show has been on, the awards part comes on in an hour. And yes, Andy did interview the Real Housewives of NYC, but I don’t watch that show so I didn’t really pay attention. You’re right, I kept thinking about that (Daniel with Andy in St Barts) and what an odd couple that seems. I believe it HAD to be for business reasons. I bet the speculations from some time ago are right on the nose, that this was something he was doing trying to help the gf, to get to produce a show for Bravo or something. I’m not quite sure how he and Daniel came to know each other before that though. It could be through some mutual friend or acquaintance of the gf. The gf probably became “a lot better friend” to whoever it was when they found out she was Daniel’s gf if you know what I mean.

Yes it is very telling that the gf doesn’t appear to have any female friends. There is probably something there too in that she has a competitive nature, hence her involvement with athletics in high school. She is whacked as far as I’m concerned. That’s what happens when people start having a sexual relationship before they really get to know each other. You end up having a very intimate bond with someone that if you took more time to get to know first you may decide is not the best person for you and best not to get involved. But most people don’t have the patience for that, especially men. I’m sure that’s how Daniel got tangled up with this atrocity.

how are things? I have been in Paris for a week, and the Internet cafes were so expensive there, I was waiting to get to London to be online again, so I am now in a cheap Internet cafe near the Ivy (I didn’t even know the Ivy was close to my favourite cheap cafe, but we just dandered along a side street, and there it was!)
So, no Danny news? I haven’t been ‘upstairs’ yet, but rather just went to check with you to see how things are.

Last night after you left, I tried to talk with our real v and she was having computer problems and was losing the connection alot, so she signed off after like a few posts. I am sure you will read the posts. She did answer me that Daniel would be back in the states, and also in her last post when she signed off, she called me “Friend”-

Our real v said last night in one of the posts that daniel was on Holiday.
But the other night, she said that the gf and daniel were together, in her capacity as such, (or something like that) and their “break” was over. She quoted ‘break’.
James, maybe I am making more of this than i should, but as YOU so correctly pointed out, our REAL v does quote words. She always has.
But i don’t recall the v from last night quoting any words.
Maybe that doesn’t matter.
But James, we can always, usually, tell it is our REAL v when she quotes words.
Jimmy! Hey, I just caught up through several pages upstairs, and wow, what a difference it makes when the psycho isn’t around! The discussion was so interesting, filled with so many good points and takes on things. Only early on were things a little unpleasant when interrupted by the disgusting poster and a few cinderella’s but they seemed to have vanished.
Now, to your other points about v. Yes, I think that was the real v. last night, and she is no longer signing with v. But the post you are talking about where it was said “in her capacity as such” and “break was over” I said at the time that I did not think that was the real v. I think those were the impersonator and I’m pretty sure I said so at the time. Was that two or three days ago? I can’t remember. But anyway, that is why the information is conflicting, because that earlier post was a fake!
Jimmy, I stand corrected. I just went back a few pages to read what we were saying the night the “capacity as such” post was made, and I was actually thinking it might be the real v., but then I was having doubts about it too, but that was the night we were both getting very confused. But I am convinced now that that post was an impostor and not our real v. And then a couple of days ago I found I commented that the real v. had confirmed that Daniel has not been back in the states since before the First Light awards, so this post from last night is consistent with that information.

yes, I’m still having a great time here, and today we met Danny in London! Yes, he was looking as handsome as ever and even wore a tux! Unfortunately, he was a bit waxy and didn’t reply at all when I told him I want to take him home ;)
OK, we were in Mme Tussaud’s in London and only posed with his wax double! And I think it looks pretty realistic, and I was tempted to just take him with me, but I doubt that carrying a big wax Dan under my arm would have remained unnoticed for long…
I was quite amazed that the place was so hands-on, and you could actually take pictures posing with all those wax celebs. We had such a laugh coming up with stupid poses and faces.
I had a quick look at some of your posts on this page, and it looks as if I have a lot to catch up when I get back home!

I see the disgusting poster was on again last night, 3632, claiming that they saw that “v” was on again last night. Well, I think they just gave themselves away that the disgusting poster and the impostor v are one and the same, that’s why they said they saw that “v” was on the board last night. I saw those pseudo cryptic messages that popped up last night and knew that it was the impostor v. because they really made very little sense and didn’t address anything relevant. I guess the impostor noticed that the real v. is no longer signing their posts, so thought they would do the same to try and fool us. But sorry, they are not going to be able to.

Ouch! I know Daniel is not perfect, but the sound of that makes him sound very… “sad”. I don’t know if that’s the exact picture. I think it’s more like, they might have started dating some, got along okay at the time, he hired her to be his PA and then things got VERY personal between them. That’s when it all got way too complicated, and has made it difficult to break away from her…UNTIL NOW! I think this poster has some valid points but I think they are being a bit extreme and cynical about how things work. As I said upstairs, I think it is more a mixture of both. I just don’t believe Daniel Craig is THAT calculating. The gf may be, but him, not so much. No doubt he gets plenty of advice from agents and PR, but in the end I believe he still makes his own decisions, especially lately, with the aspects in his horoscope and all! LOL

I just don’t think that Daniel is into her in a ‘in love” sense, but she is very into him.
he knows she is not his one true soulmate - or he would have married her already, no doubt.

I don’t think it is v. But probably someone else who has some sort of connection to the “biz”, although I’m thinking maybe in the tabloid side of things. They are just so cynical about it all. They are completely stripping the humanity away from actors and actresses. I know they have agents and pr to handle the information and publicity that gets released about them, but they make it sound like they totally control their lives. I think this person is a little over the top even though there may be some truth to what they are saying. I think their manner is a little overbearing to be v. Besides, I’ve read posts on here that sometimes sound like myself or some that may sound like you sometimes, so it is possible for different people to sometimes have a similar “voice” on here.

Remember it’s the PR firms that have to stay vigilant and go after the tabloids everytime they print something the PR or client doesn’t like, so that probably creates some resentment. They socialize with one another so that is how most people meet and get together. I’m sure first dates may be set up by peoples agents too, and sometimes the people may hit it off and others they don’t. I just can’t get so cynical about it all to believe that every hollywood relationship is simply a business arrangement.

And I do believe through and through that Daniel is a very sensitive man who really does want a mutually loving, warm and fun and blissful relationship.
I think he has tried to make her happy, but it jsut seems that they are always on the ‘outs’ and always fighting and Daniel probably feels that whatever he does will never be enough for her…wedding or not.

Think about it, if one of his people were reading the board tonight and the negative image the cynical poster was putting out about Daniel, I could read this as just saying to be positive about Daniel, buy (freudian slip!) respecting his decisions and going to see his movies (so he can make money).
