OlderCasino Royale Opens Today
Daniel Craig and Casino Royale co-star Eva Green take the cover of the Nov. 24 issue of Entertainment Weekly, out on newsstands today. Ticket sales for Casino Royale in the U.K. box office during its first day of release on Thursday, earned a whopping $3.2 million. Waa-waa-wee-waa-waa! Casino Royale has to open with $47+ million in ticket sales this weekend in order to to beat Die Another Day (Pierce Brosnan).

yes i read that article and I got really scared for Daniel. But I just remembered something…
James, remember that SONY is no longer going to be distributing James Bond, it is moving back over to MGM.
So even though Sony will be owing Eon hundreds of miilions, i don’t think that it will interrupt Eon PRoductions-
From what I know, Sony is handing over the reins of james Bond distribution over to MGM and it is happening by the making of Bond 23.
Exactly which date this happens,(the turnover) i do not know.

and they can grey him at the temples if they see fit.

Anyway, they are not going to sit around and whine aobut their probs with sSony- Sony has the $$$, they just have to write Eon the check,. Sony is a monster and they will indeed get sued if they do not pay Eon.
Barabra is no fool and she won’t let Sony slide and slither away from this debt.
Also NO WAY are they going to do another bond with a NEW james Bond- they have too much success with daniel and no way are they going to go with another unknown actor while crossing in the middle of the stream.
Everyone wants to make money.
They are not procrstinators, but they will need a great script to pull the characters into the next stage of the franchise.
What do you think Jimmy? Should we sign off for the night? I think it’s gone pretty quiet upstairs. Usually the only person on this time of night is wannabe. The west coast folks are probably out on a Sat. night. BTW, did you take a look at those “adult” scenes from Daniel’s movies someone posted the link to? Oh my!
I guess if Roger Moore could play Bond what seemed like into his late 40’s, Daniel should certainly have no problem. I just hope they give him a little break on the stunts though as I’m afraid it is going to be harder on him now.

Hi James and Jimmy,
just caught up with today’s posts - pity wannabe was disrupting the discussion again, but of course, she always crops up when people have a good discussion and tries to derail it.
As to Dan ageing badly and looking too old for Bond, I’d say, this is only temporarily. I find it’s not just his face, but also the way he carries himself that makes him look older than he is. Once he sorts himself out and is happier again, and gets back to a more healthier life-style, he’ll look as s e x y as ever!

Sorry Jimmy, I was away watching Tracy Ullman. Have you seen her new show on Showtime? It’s pretty funny. Anyway, I was just going to ask you about that poster who brought up your name. I’m wondering if it isn’t that same Agree poster. If they’ve been reading our threads down here they would have run across the post where you confirmed to me your real name after wannabe had posted it upstairs. This was some time ago.
I think the “matt ellis” poster if wannabe because they are an obvious fake (they said that WAS Barbara in the pics–sorry, but just not true) and it is wannabe who is always making up some character on here.
What made me wonder about the driver is that post 567 who said they “know” that there were more than two paps at Nobu. Because I don’t think that poster is v. who also used to say “I know”, but who else would “know” there were more than two paps there that night. But now I’ve just though that it could be someone who just happened to be around there that night and witnessed the whole scene. You could see many people in the background of some of the shots. So who knows I guess.

THis poster seems to know some inside info- maybe not our real v- but they have posted before and they are on our side.
Also- if they are connected with paps/photographers, they would be able to get the real scoop on what was going on that night at Nobu.
No, I didn’t see Tracy Ullman, I don’t get showtime, but james i hear that she is really funny and a very clever comedian.
Another reason I know that it is not Barbara Broccoli in those pictures is that Satslumdog her/his self said it was Laura when they posted the pictures. Satslumdog would know.

Jimmy, I just ran across this Mirror 3 am item dated from the 14th. That would have been the day after the Nobu pictures. But I was just thinking, if this item spotting Daniel in a limo in Liverpool was that they spotted him on the 13th, the same day the girl from Wirral Tweeted about having met Daniel. If Daniel was in Liverpool earlier that day, that means he made a special trip back to London for this Nobu pap appearance. I bet you anything the “gf” has been in London and not with him while he is visiting family back home. I bet she is just there for his special pap appearances, so as not to stir up too many rumors about a split. Thing is they are officially releasing photos of just him, but since she is there when the pics are taken, no one is going to report that he was out without her.

Not only do I 100% agree with you that the gf makes appearances only for the pap picture opportunities, but i also believe as you do that she was in London while he was up in Liverpool and back home in Wirral and the gf came up to the Liverpool soccer match for the day or something- jsut to look like they were together.
I AGREE JAMES I believe that they have split and she is holding him to it that he has to help her with her career, so they are still photo’ed together.
BUT JAMES you will see too that in all of the blurbs and sightings and Twitters, of spotting Daniel in Wirral and Liverpool and his hometown in Chester, that the GF is never mentioned as being seen with him!!
BET she was in London as you say…
ALSO JAMES_ YOU KNOW SHE IS NOW THE PAID GF!! I am sure of it. Paid to still be his gf to keep up the appearances and no rumors or gossip of a split- And i bet the agreement is OVA if Daniel even reads about a split up having taken place.
