Kate Winslet: InStyle December 2006

Kate Winslet takes the December 2006 issue of InStyle Magazine. She’s warm and maternal but has a wild streak too. It’s a passionate mix that ignites on screen — and makes her a woman you’d like to know. Here are some nuggets from the interview:

On living life to its fullest: “You have one life and you have to make the most of it.”

On having to deal with Hollywood: “Fortunately for me, I only have to dip my toe into that movie-star world when I step onto a red carpet.”

On having more children: “I’m hoping to have more kids. I don’t know whether one or two. Oh. God, I would love to have more.”

Celebrities like Kate Winslet should be the ones in the news all the time and not the absurd and desperate Lohan/Hilton/Richie types, she seems like a class act.

I love Kate Winslet– seems so regualar and down-to-earth… not like most of the arrogant, media/$$$ grubbing celebs out there… I agree with Kendra- a true class act!

I also like kate winslett a lot but those pictures have too much photoshop I prefer her naturaly. She so beautiful just the way she is, althoughshe is not yhe celebrity standar of body nowadays which makes it even better.

Thanks Jared! Kate Winslet is my favorite actress and I always love new pics of her. She is absolutely gorgeous. I agree with Kendra and Martina. She is beautiful just the way she is, and she seems like she is very down to earth and grounded.

These are some of the best pics I’ve ever seen of Kate, who I also like alot. There is strong Oscar buzz for her suburban angst drama, Little Children, and strong buzz for her performance.

I think that these are definately airbrushed photographs. These are pretty pics but she doesn’t really look like this. I actually like her with a little more meat on her. She is so beautiful the way she is. And a very good actress. Like her a lot.

I think Kate is a great actress but there’s something Keira Knightley-ish about that fifth photo…
