Tom and Katie Spotted on Wedding Day!
Both groom and bride-to-be Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were spotted on their wedding day. Earlier this morning, Katie was seen looking through a window of 15th-century Odescalchi Castle at a van arriving with her hubby-to-be Tom Cruise (who was waving to fans) in the lakeside town of Bracciano, some 27 miles from Rome.
Also pictured below: Bodyguards use umbrellas to protect Katie (cradling baby Suri, almost 7 months), as she arrived with her mother Kathleen, second from right, at the Odescalchi Castle.
My favorite picture is of the fans who created the sign “WELCOME TOM & KATY!” Hehehe.

AJ and BP are the publicity whores , parading their orphans,for everybody to see. we are a multi-racial family and yet we see only 3 people at Mme Tussaud, where they should be 5. They dont know him and yet they took their time to go to the wedding. Where did you get this propaganda again, i know TMZ, you always take your cue from the media. it is not surprising always insult TomKat, but dont touch Brangelina. BP and AJ i agree with them not to get married,because they know the chance to stay longer is better if they are not . he is with her now for the kids because this is the only important thing for. I really pity her.

Tom is cute whether you think so or not. Katie is also a pretty girl.
That said, of course Tom wanted an extravagant affair because he is Tom Cruise and he has found the woman he believes to be his true love.
Tom’s fans love this. He is giving us something great–a beautiful wedding to cherish and remember for years (hopefully) to come.

There is no woman who is Tom’s true love, because he likes men. Duh.

Valery : what in the h e l l are you talking about? Maddame Tussaud put those figures out without their permission. Going on a boating trip is parading your kids? And they aren’t oprhans because they are ADOPTED!
Publicity whores are when you give the media the day, the time, and the place in advance where you are going to get married. Publicity whores are those who go on every red carpet event together and making a spectacle out of things by showing excessive PDA. Publicity whores are those who withhold pictures of their baby until there is an opportunity for maximum exposure.
We see Kate hudson’s son with her all the time. We see Heidi Klum with her kids all the time. We see Britney carrying around SPF all the time. Are they publicity whores for being seen with their kids. We seen Gweynth Paltrow and Gwen Stefani show off their babies too.
WOW kids being the most important thing for two people who are raising three kids together as parents! How is that a bad thing to give priority to your kids again?
You can pity Angelina all you want. She’s still the one with millions in her bank account, she’s got three kids, a successful career, and Brad Pitt who loves her enough to put up with all this **** from peopel like you. You don’t pity her, you envy her because the operative word here is Brad.
That’s what this all about. She’s got Brad and Jen doesn’t . Boohoo. Cry me a river.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks Katie looks a little scared. That picture is priceless. I can understand that she might be worried over certain things (like the press, etc) but she should also be enjoying herself.

The TomKat marital extravaganza was in danger of becoming a $2.5 million farce as the clock ticked past the deadline for the celebrity couple to present the paperwork that would make their marriage legal.
As the sun set yesterday on the majestic medieval castle where they plan to wed, there was no sign that Tom Cruise or his beloved bride, Katie Holmes, had applied for a civil marriage license.
The couple, who are expected to hold a Scientologist wedding service at Castello Odescalchi today, now face the distinct possibility their union might be recognized only by a church that believes in aliens - and not the law.
“Wedding? What wedding?” the parish priest of Bracciano, where the couple plan to wed, told the Times of London. “There has been no application for a civil marriage, let alone a religious ceremony.”
Fabrizio D’Agostino, a spokesman for the Church of Scientology in Rome, said the church had not been contacted by anyone about the Cruise-Holmes wedding.
He said an exchange of vows with a Scientology rite is not legally recognized in Italy and would have to be preceded or followed by a civil union.
Rome’s mayor had given the couple until yesterday to bring the necessary papers to city hall.
U.S. citizens planning to marry in Italy must present their passports, birth certificates and an affidavit that there is no impediment to their marriage.
The documents need to be translated into Italian and certified.
Still, the festivities continued in Rome yesterday as stars continued to touch down in the Eternal City.
Actor Will Smith wished Cruise and Holmes “eternal happiness” as he stopped to talk to reporters on his way into the 17th-century Villa Aurelia for the rehearsal dinner.
“You know, it is a beautiful time in their lives and I hope people will give them a bit of room,” Smith said as he joined his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
Brooke Shields also wished the couple happiness.
“I hope they remember this whole weekend,” Shields said.
Holmes’ best friend, Victoria Beckham, arrived in Rome with her soccer star husband, David, who sported a very metrosexual cardigan. John Travolta, who shares Cruise’s Scientologist faith, flew in on his jet.
Other guests in town for the ceremony, such as Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, were spotted partying until the wee hours yesterday at a hotel bar.
Cruise’s ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, won’t attend, but People magazine said she had sent the pair a wedding gift, wishing them “a lifetime of happiness together.”
You know…I think all of this is a stunt to rehab Tom’s career. I mean let’s face it…Katie doesn’t need resurrection, but Tom certainly does.
This won’t help him though. He used up all his cred by jumping on couches and preaching some religion created by a science fiction writer.

Well, I for one am happy with them…. We all have to remember that this is their life and they can live it as they see fit, just like we live ours as we see fit… The only thing different is we don’t have people taking pictures or saying things every time we move…. So Tom is a bit crazy from time to time, i mean really who cares… I think we’ve all acted a little crazy at one point or another.. It’s really simple if you don’t like Tom or Katie then don’t read about them.. i mean wouldn’t that be much better then waisting your time, and sounding like a 13yr old b******* about things….
Now as far as Toledo goes… I live in Toledo, and yes Katie still has friends here…
now about the pic… IMO I think she looks like that because the sun was in her eyes..

Thank God they finally got married! Another one we can take off the dreaded “my baby’s momma” list. Who cares how much they spent? It’s their money. And aren’t weddings meant to show others your commitment?

Ann u’re so sad to say that about NICOLE the truth she didn’t pimp herself kept all her wedding details but the paps still went everywhere with her for one week just to get a little detail and to the very last minute everything from her dress and menu was a guessing game for the paps the world was infatuated with her for one week it was something from the movie even the paps confirmed the last time they saw a wedding like NIC’S was when prince charles and diana got married more than 3000 pple lined the streets(like diana’s wedding) just to take a glimpse of her it was a tough week for the security team working for her, unlike TC who shouted about everything from the very day he met his wonky face a-list wannabe but yet it was an anti-climax no one lined the street for them the security had nothing to do, the town now regrets going out of their way to get all that security in place, shoting all town centers all for what ?
