As rumor would not have it, Gayle King left her husband because of his behavior, not hers, she says on her XM Satellite Radio show.

The alluring chatster, who just completed a cross-country driving trip with best friend Oprah Winfrey, opened up to guest Will Smith after he revealed the secrets of his own marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith.

“I was married to a cheater,” King told Smith. “I went to marital counseling. I have been divorced since 1993, so I’m all healed and everything. I have worked it out. I’m not bitter. I’m OK. I’m really OK.”

King’s ex-husband, Connecticut Assistant Attorney General William Bumpus, did not return phone or e-mail requests for comment.

But King added that, for the sake of the couple’s two children, she keeps the lines of communication with Bumpus open. Their daughter, Kirby, and son, William, are both college age.

“It’s so important for people who have children together to get along,” the Oprah confidante continued. “Regardless of how you feel about the other as a spouse, you still have these children to raise together.”

Oprah has a big head…It’s not only the Aniston pity parties that got on my nerves but her whole attitude lately. From dragging Hermes American President to lick her toes, James Frey humiliation, even Tom Cruise backstab….there have been a lot of instances that put me off.

I knew when I saw Brad’s interview with Oprah during Troy promotion in 2004 and how she interrogated him over his Vanity Fair interview during the start of the affair gossip. She acted like Jen’s private detective…kept asking him to define his relationship w/Jen and didn’t like his answer when he said “they had an Extraordinary Friendship.”

So I was happy when Tom Cruise played “payback” on her back handed comments she made on Good Morning America.

There are some women who never get over it, even when the man has been long kicked to the curb. My mom is still steaming over my father’s ‘betrayal’ and they’ve been divorced for 30 years; he’s been dead for 11. Because of her, I have had it up to here with bitter women who gloss over their share of the responsibility for the marriage failing.

That Thanksgiving stuff is a bunch of crap. “No where to go” Brad has a sister and a brother who have children as well, why wouldn’t they have anywhere to go? Given the things JA has implied about their son and the damage she tried to do to him. I can see them still pleasant and civil with her and I’m sure they still love her she was married to their son but he has another life now. One that Brad and Angie have made them apart of and like I said given what JA alluded about Brad in her interviews and how she still tries to ride his coat tails I doubt they will be having Thanksgiving dinner with her. IF ( bif if) Brad and Angie are not back in the states I’m sure they will be with one of the other children.
