Spend Thanksgiving with Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood will be performing at the Dallas Cowboys’ halftime show on Thursday, kicking off the Salvation Army Red Kettle Christmas fundraising campaign for 2006. “I am so glad to have the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving in Dallas this year,” said Carrie. “My family and I have been spectators several times in the past, and now I am thrilled to be performing at halftime this year! I look forward to teaming up with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys for a great day.”

Pictures include Carrie, 23, earlier this afternoon at the Shrine Auditorium, rocking it out on the red carpet and performing at the 2006 American Music Awards in Los Angeles. Below those is Carrie rehearsing for the AMA’s the day before. Could her outfits be any more perfect?

I think her voice is the most flawless I’ve ever heard - and I don’t even like country music. AND THOSE LEGS!!!!!!

I love her! She is a fantastic singer all the way around. Good character too. Forget Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. This is the girl that the teens should be admiring. Carrie is a great role model for young girls.

She already is a superstar. She’s got the voice and the look–whole package. She ALWAYS looks amazing. I love her. Best IDOL EVER.
