OlderAngelina Jolie in Cambodia… with Brad?
Angelina Jolie has made a surprise visit to Cambodia, the home country of 5-year-old Maddox. Here’s what the International Herald Tribune reported:
Angelina Jolie has made an unannounced visit to Cambodia, a country where she is funding a nature conservation project, officials said Wednesday.
Jolie paid a brief visit to officials in Pailin, a former Khmer Rouge stronghold in northwestern Cambodia, said Keut Sothea, a deputy governor for Pailin municipality.
He said Jolie had a brief discussion about a forest conservation project near Pailin with Ieng Vuth, another municipality deputy governor and the son of former Khmer Rouge Foreign Minister Ieng Sary.
“They came very briefly before flying out. They seemed not to have much time for us,” he said, declining to elaborate.
Above is Brad Pitt from a few weeks ago, traveling out of Pune airport, headed for Mumbai. Where is Brad now? Probably in Cambodia with Angelina… unless they left already. Notice how Brad is carrying baby Shiloh, almost 6 months, closely in his arms and has a cute teddy bear in his back pocket!

I love Brad to death but in support of Angie, I refuse to watch that show.
I know I know…I just can’t find it in my heart to forgive a woman who claimed Angie was responsible for the misery in her life.
Maybe I can find a way to delete scenes with other people (cough cough “X”) and just watch the Braddy moments of the episode..hehe. I wish.

Jolie makes surprise trip to Cambodia 19 minutes ago
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia - Angelina Jolie toured a former Khmer Rouge death camp, now a genocide museum, during a surprise visit to Cambodia with Brad Pitt, an official said Thursday.
Jolie, who has an adopted son from Cambodia, visited the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum late Wednesday with Pitt and several other people.
“She bought tickets and toured the museum just like everybody else. It was a private visit,” said museum director Chey Sopheara.
Up to 16,000 people passed through the gates of what the Khmer Rouge called S-21 prison before being executed outside Phnom Penh during the communist regime’s 1975-79 rule. Only about a dozen prisoners are thought to have survived.
Jolie and her entourage left Cambodia on a small private jet Wednesday night, a Phnom Penh International Airport official said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.
Earlier in the day, the 31-year-old actress briefly visited Pailin, a former Khmer Rouge stronghold in northwestern Cambodia.
Pailin officials said she met with a local deputy governor to discuss a forest conservation project in the area.
Jolie has promised up to $1.3 million over five years for a conservation program near Pailin that was approved by the Cambodian government in 2003.
She has named it the Maddox Jolie Project after her 5-year-old son, who was adopted from Cambodia. Jolie and Pitt also have a 1-year-old daughter, Zahara, who was adopted from Ethiopia. Jolie gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Shiloh, in Namibia in May.
Scenes for Jolie’s 2001 movie, “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,” were filmed at Cambodia’s famed Angkor Wat temple.

Hi Team Lara Croft, glad to see you’re here, I love your posts and I too love Madonna, I think specially now that she’s adopting, I guess I love people adopting children, we too are adopting and it’s a beautiful wonderful thing, the only other thing I would compare this joy to would be to giving birth.
I guess I feel a bit emotional tonight being Thanksgiving tomorrow and all that and I have to be thankful for so many wonderful things that are happening in my life right now.

PANAJI • Troops and naval vessels will guard the coast of Goa as movie fans lounge on its beaches for India’s international film festival which kicks off tomorrow amid high security.
The authorities have sounded an alert ahead of the 11-day festival which is being staged at the Arabian Sea resort, featuring 107 movies from 40 countries and expected to draw a stellar guest list. Superstar couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are expected to attend the event, as are several Bollywood luminaries. The security measures, involving naval patrols and the deployment of extra soldiers, were triggered by concerns among officials and the media of a possible terrorist attack by Islamic militants.
“A section (of the media) is speaking about possibilities of a Bali-like terrorist attack during the festival,” said Goa’s Art and Culture Minister Digambar Kamat, referring to the 2002 bombings on the Indonesian resort island that killed 202 people.
“The Central government has asked us not to take any chances and it has also offered us additional forces for the film festival,” Kamat told reporters in the state capital Panaji. With Goa posting its highest tourist levels in recent years and 400,000 holidaymakers expected between October this year and January 2007, officials say the extra security is merely a precaution. “We want to make Goa safe for delegates and tourists and hence we are putting in place massive anti-terrorism measures at the festival venue and elsewhere in our state,” said Goa police chief B S Brar. Security forces are on standby in case of any attack, said Goa Chief Secretary J P Singh. “We have to be extra careful, watchful, and go out of our way to keep the international event safe from any threat,” he said.
The festival, featuring Penelope Cruz’s Volver and Brad Pitt’s award-winning Babel, will screen movies throughout the state as well as on the beaches and in seaside hotels. “There’ll be screenings on our beaches and mobile cinema vans will go around rural Goa, screening films so the spirit of the festival reaches folks in the interior,” said festival chief organiser Nandini Paliwal.
There visit to Cambodia would not have been called a “surprise visit” if the media paid attention. Jeez, these people in the media are so dumb. Brad mentioned going to Cambodia at TIFF and then alluded to it again in the Indian interview.
We fans seriously need to get paid for this ****. How long does it take to figure out this wasn’t a surprise visit?

Thank you for the article Alex! So the where in Cambodia from Sunday evening/night and nobody notice them until Tuesday. And finally they left on Wednesday night .Apart from the job they had to do it must have been a very relaxing and peaceful 4 day trip for the family. No razzis and very little covering from the press. I’m glad they where able to get some fresh air!
