Brad & Angie Spend Thanksgiving in Vietnam
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted riding on a motorcycle earlier this morning in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. They reportedly made a quick trip there for a bit of shopping and sightseeing. According to the AP, Brad and Angie also ate at a popular Vietnamese restaurant converted from an old temple.
Do you think they’ll go Black Friday shopping? (Just kidding.) This second surprise visit to Ho Chi Minh City came shortly after a surprise visit to Cambodia where Angie pledged to set up a new conservation project.

Aniston is not getting invited to the upcoming AAs. TBU was her tkt to this year’s Oscars. Next year will belong to Brad (and Angelina by association because I don’t think she’s making the short list for nominations in BSA). Aniston has no reason to be there when you have the cast of Bobby to invite (Demi & Ashton, Stone, Helen Hunt) and Cate and Mirren and Cruz and JLo and Swank and probably Jennifer Garner. In other words, there are a lot of A-list women to invite. Aniston doesn’t have anything noteworthy coming up and she’s not a movie star (so at the very least she would need something noteworth coming up).
The next time she’s invited will most likely be if and when she’s nominated.
I wholeheartedly believe they will show up together and give a couple of soundbytes to a selected few on the RC. Not to, only makes them look like they are living under some black cloud of shame, or worse yet, like they are too good for their peers.
That won’t go over well with the Academy, especially if neither are working at that time.

It’ll be interesting if they did. I’m sure if BA don’t talk to the press, these two will. Paltrow doesn’t have anything to say, really, but it’ll be interesting if JV will plug for visitation with Shiloh only. Will he publicly check DT for his disrespectful comments toward his daughter? Will he talk about that $hitastic pic where he plays a 400 lb hitman?

Right…right..Let’s not forget about preserving “the ethnic identity”. The child is starving but that’s okay as long as the ethnic identity is preserved.
God, how can people not see the ignorance at play here? What use is the ethnic identity if the child is dead? Why can’t it be as simple as this….someone wants a child, there is a child who needs a parent, bring both parties together and allow them to be a family in their own way. I’m I being really simple minded thinking this way? The way I see it, except the people who object are willing to take these kids home, they need to shut up and mind their business. We need to rethink the notion that Family = Same Blood and Same skin tone or Ethinic identity. Seriously, there is a strong possibility that a child might lose out on the chance to become a part of a family just because they won’t know how to take care of her hair. It is ridiculous.
By the way, who in the world cares what the minivan majority thinks?
X was invited to Oscars after Brad and Angie decided not to come!!!If Brad and Angie are invited and agree to come or Brad become his nomination, there is no way X would be there.

Oh God, please tell me you’re joking. Someone actually said they hope he’d take Zee and give her to JA? Are you kidding me….another evidence that some people will never see adopted children as their children. They probably think since Zee is adopted, AJ is not her real mother, therefore it is easy to pass her around like a pet.

Unfortunately, I’m not. This was said during the height of the Poor Me Pitty Party last year. It was during one of E’s countdown shows. I don’t remember who said it exactly, but I think that it was that brunette chick who cohosts that TVGuide Channel show about reality shows… she cohosts with that blonde American Idol loser.

then the whole hue and cry of taking a child out of it’s ethnic background rears its ugly head. We DEFINITELY know that would be the case with the African American community because I’ve seen it happen all too often!

I don’t know if you read my 2:44pm post but I can confirm what you’re saying from personal experience and I’m glad you mentioned it. There were many black children whose fate was controlled by this one woman I had mentioned who held firm with black to black, white to white etc. These children went from one foster care home to another or lived their young lives in orphanages until of legal age and she felt it was better for them than being part of a non black family. I often wondered how she could live with herself.

Heres what I don’t want, regardless of AJ and BP attending, I do not want Ellen to make (1) AJ adoption joke. AJ an Ellen have had good interviews.

In the case of GP. She’s okay. She seems to be sincere. Though I think CM will attend this time.
In the case of JV. He’s okay. Though AJ and JV aren’t speaking. AJ still loves her father and probably doesn’t find the jokes about him funny even if he does bring it on himself. AJ probably wants him to be smarter and stay quiet or not so divulging.
