Brad Pitt almost looks too cool for school in the January 2007 issue of Total Film. The shades. The scruff. The crossed arms. His back against the wall.
The Total Film cover headline reads: “His darkest tough guy. His meanest good guy. His sharpest smart guy & his secret zombie sci-fi. Building Babel and exactly why Brad Pitt owns 2007.” The pictures aren’t new but the article is. Hope all you Americans are stuffed from Thanksgiving or poor from Black Friday! (:

It will easily top $50 million. Babel has not yet opened in UK, Australia, Spain, Gernamy, South Korea and Japan. These are the major territories. It is only in its 2nd-week run in France, and has grossed about $2.4M there (which is not reflected by boxofficemojo).

Hey everyone. I know that I haven’t been too kind to The View but today they’re dedicating the show to adoption and foster care in the US. They’re showing pictures of kids that are available for adoption on their show. The website they suggested is adoptuskids.org. For once, they’re actually doing good and I can’t hate people who are trying to that.

That’s all well and good, but I think even this show, is a delicate way to insinuate that people should not be adopting outside of the U.S. or infer that they should sign up with adoption agencies in the U.S. *first* or something. I’m sure it was Elizabeth’s idea, but I doubt it came from the goodness of her heart, she just hates Angelina.
Jen is not close to the Pitts, all you have to is read some her interviews. One time they asked her if she and Brad will be spending the holidays with his parents and she answered like they were asking her to spend the holidays with terrorist. Another time, she didn’t attend their anniversary party because of some lameo award, Brad attended alone. It was after the divorce that she carried on like they were the best of friends. The tabloids just happen the get ahold of the only picture evidence of brad’s sister and mom visiting Jen in chicago. FRAUD

ITA. The X never gave me the impression that she was really close to the Pitts during her marriage. It was only part of the milking of the divorce and the pity party that she coldbloodedly started to use the elder Pitts so that people would say, “Ah, she’s still close to her former in-laws. They must really hate Angelina then.” Anything to denigrate Angelina and her former husband, and to focus the spotlight on her, so she wasn’t above using her former in-laws.

ITA . It is ” amazing ” that the photobooth picture of Jen and Mrs Jane Pitt landed up in the tabloids.
Question to ask yourself…. when you take a photobooth picture .. there is normally just one copy of the photo unless you retake it again . So one photo for Ms Fraudiston, one photo for Mrs Jane Pitt. Knowing that Mrs Pitt has no reason to even pass on this copy of picture .. so whose copy was handled over to the tabloids? Well that’s the manipulative betrayal of Ms Fraudiston. She or her flack or one of her gossipy girlfriends pass it on to the tabs so that she could use it to her advantage and “brag” to the entire world ” See, Mrs Pitt prefers me” That’s been the tab story from day now till last week …and it’s been going on for almost 2 years.

It wouldnt be surprising for x to lie about such things but.. this story seems strange because in one of her interviews.. she trashed reality shows like dancing with the stars.. Im not sure she mentioned that one by name but.. she was wondering where all the good comedys were and then said something derogatory about reality shows. I wish I could remember her exact quote.

Jennifer Aniston has given up watching television because she’s sick of reality TV.
“What happened to a great half-hour sitcom?” she moaned recently.
“It’s all Dancing with the stars! Knitting with the stars, Building a home with the stars, Living in the homes of stars!”
“And then the ripping people to shreds. Humiliation. Degradation. What is going on? There’s so much instant gratification, and we want it. It’s just bizarre.”
“I don’t watch TV anymore. Nothing. I have no interest in that idol sh*t.
However, she can see the appeal of such entertainment:

There is no way that X would be on a reality show. After all, earlier this year, she spouted off about how much she hated reality shows like Idol. Or maybe, her objections lie in the fact that Idol and the like recruit fresh blood into HW, ie, fresh, younger, female blood and bodies. If X seriously considers this offer, she would be deemed hypocritical… well, hypocritical by those whose heads aren’t up her @$$.
There is also the ‘big fish in a small pond’ aspect too, or rather C-List in an E-List pond; that would seem kinda pathetic, IMO.

I totally understand your doubts, especially w/ Elisabeth but and this is coming from someone who can’t stand her, I don’t think this show was her idea. Rosie and today’s guest co-host Victoria Rowell met years ago in the Bahamas and they both said that they wanted to do a show about adoption and foster care together. Rosie and Kelli have been foster parents. And Victoria had been through many foster homes up until she was emancipated at age 18. So those two did most of the talking.
The guests were a mixture of foster and adoptive families too. Watching the show, the only message that I got was that these children need families and homes and I didn’t get the sense they were being critical of anyone who hasn’t adopted from the US. They did mention the red tape involved but they still said it shouldn’t stop anyone. I had no idea that 500,000 kids in this country are in foster care but over 100,000 of them are actually available for adoption, termination of parental rights is a big reason why.
