George Clooney playfully ragged on good friend Brad Pitt on last night’s The Late Show with David Letterman. George knocked Brad for also winning the title of “People’s Sexiest Man” twice. George joked of Brad: “He was a little upset. It sort of knocked his thing down a notch.”
Brad congratulated George’s win by taking out full-page ads in Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, which read:
Dear George,
Congratulations on being People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.
[insert cornball picture of George from 1985]
Your Friend,
“The Reverend Ted”
Yes, it’s in reference to that Ted. The Ted Haggard who was guilty of “sexually immoral conduct” and ex-pastor of mega-church New Life Church.
George retaliated on Letterman by showing old school pictures of Brad wearing tapered pants and a beret. Above is George imitating one of Brad’s cheesy poses.
George also joked of Matt Damon: “We felt bad for Matt Damon because he really wanted it. He campaigned hard for it but we think he just came up short.”

The lead Vogue-ette is among the subjects of Walters’ annual “Ten Most Fascinating People” special, set to air December 12th at 10 p.m. ABC producers descended on 4 Times Square Wednesday to film Wintour in her office (which she reportedly had redecorated after seeing it copied a little too perfectly onscreen in The Devil Wears Prada), turning the mag’s conference room into a temporary command center. “It was like the preparations for a space landing,” says one Vogue staffer.
Also fascinating to Walters this year: Creepy televangelist Joel Osteen, Croc Hunter widow Terri Irwin, Andre Agassi, and, of course, Brangelina. (No word on whether they count as one person.) An ABC source says Borat also made the list, but said Walters had yet to confirm an actual sit-down with Sacha Baron Cohen.

No offense, but there is nothing here to even suggest that Brangelina will be subjected to one of BabaWawa’s patented doe eyed “I bet I can make you cry” sessions ‘or at least I hope the hell not.”
I don’t get anything other than they are something that fascinates her, and I think I’d have to RE-think my fandom if they went on her show I am so damn serious about that it’s not funny. BW used to be the _hit in my book, but that gas bag has passed and no more. I’d rather watch TomKat jump on a couch again than watch Brangelina sit on it. Let Diane Sawyer, or even Kermit The Frog be graced with their presence. Anyone but Barbara PUHLEEEZZZZEEEE!!!!

You know us Vancouverites…show us some snow and we go into panic mode. We’re still snowed in…approx. another 20 cm tonight before the weather warms up tomorrow. This is the coldest it has been here in two decades — an argument for global warming. Can you give us back or regular Vancouver weather? LOL
Yes, I saw Babel already. It’s a wonderful movie with moving performances by the entire cast.
If Brad & Angie show up at TFF next year I expect you to be there and take some pix for us. :)

God, I hope they say, ‘thanks but no thanks’ to Barbara. I think, at this point in their life and careers that they really don’t want people asking personal questions about their life together, which really is the only reason these shows ask them on. Not to hear about their latest movie, not to hear about their humanitarian efforts.
i can understand if they refuse to go on with barbarba walters. but i don’t think they would do the interview together, maybe separately. if not maybe brad will appear with her at her annual oscar special interviews.
its this time of year, the year ender report, like the top 10 or top 20, was hoping Angie’s pregnancy was the #1 story but i think it will b the TomKat wedding of the year, don’t like hehe

Will never happen. First if they were going to do an interview together it would be simular to the one Brad did with D Sawyer. His interview was 30 or 40 minutes. Second. they would also want it to be taken more seriously than what BW special does.
Hi everyone, can anyone let me know if there’s any video/DVD of the Oscar’s Awards 2000 & 2001? I watched those telecast that same years BUT I would like to see the whole show from start to finish since Angie won in 200 & she wa a presenter the following year. Please let me know. Thanks
No offense taken JPF. I’m a bit skeptical, but also very hopeful because I would love to see Brad & Angie in an interview together. I did some searching on the web before I posted and came across some publicity photos of the upcoming show. Sorry…no photos of Brad & Angie with Barbara, but there are photos of three of the people mentioned in the article (Wintour, Osteen & Agassi), so that’s why I’m giving it a bit more credence. I guess we’ll find out as we get closer to the date of broadcast. Here’s a link to the publicity photos.

Just checked in and I can’t believe people can’t see that George is joking, adn Brad is loving it, and it’s all in good fun. WHO CARES? Someone even says “Leave my Bradley alone!” For God’s sake, George has spent more time around Brad than you ever will and they love the pranks. Sorry you can’t take a joke, but Brad does NOT need defending by anyone.
I agree with whoever said that this is a way for two people who don’t get to see each other much but have fun with each other to keep in touch. I have a lot of friends that I, too, don’t call every day but we are close and we all live all over the place and have busy lives. George is hardly a famewhore, being active in reducing paps access and all that. He just has fun, that’s all. Some of you should try it.
People might not like George, but Brad does, so let him choose his friends and have faith that he might be able to see a good guy from a phony and probably knows his friends better than we do. I think George explaining that they don’t call every day is true and a reminder that people don’t have to be in each other’s faces and seen out together all the time to be friends, and to avoid the flack that Matt and Ben got for being friends and talking about that friendship and then having people get weird about it.

Many parents, especially in the third world, leave their children at orphanages because otherwise they would die or, if they lived, grow up in extreme poverty. In some cases it is the ultimate sacrifice of love to give your child up so he/she can live. I would not compare David Banda’s father to Jon Voigt.

On reflection, those statements reflect my own prejudices and cynicisms about men who are fathers, rather then women who are mothers. I do know that some parents leave their children in orphanages because they are just too poor to care for the child in those countries. This is an act of love, of survival and of strength.
I will therefore rephrase the statements I made:
We’ve already seen that discussion take place in relation to David Banda and his father - never mind that the reality MAY BE that the father MAY NOT HAVE wanted his son, just like Jon Voight chose to leave his family. Children get abandoned every day, not ONLY because of financial concerns but because SOME parents simply DON’T LOVE THE CHILD. PERIOD.

I hope Brad and Angie will be doing the interview together with BW. After all the hoopla last year, the public and media are accepting them as a couple and family now. I knew during those year with JA, Brad and Jen have done a few interview together, one infamous interview was with D. Sawyer ? where the two virtually chain smoked all thru the interview.and answered most questions incoherently. that’s where the rumor of them taking coke start spreading out.

^^^Your right Ell. Brad never did an interview with Jen. He never did an interview with Gwen and I don’t think he did one with Juliette. In fact he never did a print interview together with these women. It would be too much of a plum for whoeever get Brad to sit down next to Angelina a talk about themselves, kids and charity. I would say 60 Minutes long before Barbara Walters.
BTW only Radar.com is the only article so far that is including Brangelina as one of the Barbara Walters top ten. On Access Hollywood they name 3 of the top 10 and Starpulse.com names 6 but not “Brangelina”. I don’t trust Radar.com so I will wait before I believe anything they wrote.
