OlderGeorge Clooney Rags on Brad Pitt
George Clooney playfully ragged on good friend Brad Pitt on last night’s The Late Show with David Letterman. George knocked Brad for also winning the title of “People’s Sexiest Man” twice. George joked of Brad: “He was a little upset. It sort of knocked his thing down a notch.”
Brad congratulated George’s win by taking out full-page ads in Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, which read:
Dear George,
Congratulations on being People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.
[insert cornball picture of George from 1985]
Your Friend,
“The Reverend Ted”
Yes, it’s in reference to that Ted. The Ted Haggard who was guilty of “sexually immoral conduct” and ex-pastor of mega-church New Life Church.
George retaliated on Letterman by showing old school pictures of Brad wearing tapered pants and a beret. Above is George imitating one of Brad’s cheesy poses.
George also joked of Matt Damon: “We felt bad for Matt Damon because he really wanted it. He campaigned hard for it but we think he just came up short.”

Sorry you don’t have to to an interview with Brabara Walters o be in that top 10 special. It’s her list according to her criteria and she usually explains her reasons. She then puts a package of clips of the subject thoughout the year. It will be a compilation of everything from their charity work, adoption, baby birth, film roles, paparazzi darlings, etc, this past year….She will probably mention the upcoming TGS so-starring Angelina.
Someone mentioned that B&A are over exposed. They are not. It’s the public, haters & fans alike, that overexpose themselves to every morsel of information about them. I would say that 95% of B&A fans do not log on to celebrity blogs or watch entertainment shows & buy the tab-lies. They rely on legit media for the latest and as far as that is concerned, the latest was Brad at the Babel premiere in LA.

I’m refering to the nature of their relationship. Not getting married is just BIZARRE. Especially considering not being married SEVERLY limits what country’s they can adopt from (and we all know how important that is), not to mention it’s just the natural thing 2 people do who are in love.
There’s only four logical reasons why they wouldn’t get married
1. They aren’t “in love”
Their relationship is a “buisness arraingment”. Brad wants kids, Angie needs a father for her kids. It’s a pact.
2. Open relationship
Angie doesn’t want to get married because she wants to sleep with other people. (I say Angie because Brad’s a moral/monogmous person, and well, she’s not)
3. Angie plans on breaking up
Angie is *using* Brad as a sperm donor/father of her kids and secretly plans on breaking up with him in the future, so why bother getting married and having to go through a divorce.
4. Angie’s a lesbo.
Also ties in with #1’s business arraingment theory.
Not getting married is very STRANGE and puts doubts out there about the true nature of their “relathionship”. And if they do get interviewed together they WILL be asked the marraige question, and if they give that stupid “gay marraige” crap they WILL be called on it. And i’m just saying you may not like the answer, it’s much better for you all to believe everything’s sunshine & roses.

Hay ya’ll! Typical me, day late & dollar short on this topic, but I think the Brad/George friendship and them ragging on each other is all in good fun and harmelss. Brad seems to like self-depricating humor, so I bet he laughed his butt off about those pictures, they *are* hilarious! haha!! I remember seeing Brad at some red carpet thingy, maybe even one of the Ocean’s movies, and he is giving one of those sound byte interviews with the other actors, and Brad leans in and says, “Well I wouldn’t know, because I am hung like a mosquito” or something to that effect. He has no problem with that kind of humor. It takes an exptremely self-confident guy to say something like that on national TV.
Now, about this Barbra Walters interview, nah….I say they won’t do it. I think we will only see them giving interviews in the near future that deal directly with their work (humanitarian, environmental, or acting & producing). They aren’t going to go on some show where the focus is solely going to be their persona, they don’t need or want that. Remember, Brad keeps saying he wants the focus OFF of himself, and even though Angie herself has not come out and said that, her actions tell me she feels the same way.

As for Brad not having done interviews with Gywneth or Jennifer before, well he has done one with Angie in Namibia, so its very possible that he will do it again. Infact, he has done a movie and a magazine photoshoot with Angie but not with Jennifer.

Love this! True, true! Also, he said in one of the press interviews during the promotion of MAMS that he felt Angelina was right for the part of Jane Smith because it needed to be somebody who could carry the part as an equal, and I conclude from that comment that he truly does consider her his equal in the professional arena. Not only is he in love with her, but he respects and admires her talent as a professional, which gives a whole additonal facet to their relationship that he didn’t have before. He has acted with Gwen, but I don’t think Gwen’s professional chops blew him away like Angie’s did. Angie is much more fearless and in touch with her emotions.
Brad has done many things with Angie that he has not done with any other woman, so we may see them do an interview together yet, …but I just don’t feel it will be anytime soon, and it suuuure won’t be with Babs Walters on her little “personality” special! LOL!

So your reasoning is INVALID. Besides, as Brad said, with their track record (1 divorce for him, 2 for her) it’s not like they are in a hurry to get married. AGAIN, NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! And they CAN adopt even without getting married.

Bizarre? since when is not getting married strange? Is this 2006 or 1776? almost 50% of the country is bizarre then. LOL!!!!!! It’s funny but B&A actually in separate interviews said two different thing regarding marriage. Angelina siad they really didn’t need a ceremony to prove their love for each other. Brad on the other hand said he and Angelina would consider getting married when everyone can. LOL!!! Gotta love that Brad. The reporter asked him that if & when they decided to get married it would have to be in the air since they both love flying and no paps would be in the air. Brad said to him that it wasn’t such a bad idea.
Why are people trying to analyze the interviews they are going to do before hands? BW can use Brad and Angie without calling them to appear on her show. That’s probably the reason why she went to ask for the Vogue mag. interview. I also think Brad and Angie can handle their business profesionally by themselves, they’ve managed together when things were tough and I think they can manage now. Also these are international stars. their movies especially Brad’s bring more money from outside of America than within.

Yes, but MANY countries only allowed MARRIED couples to adopt, so they are LIMITING which country’s they can adopt from. That is VERY STRANGE. And there has to be a reason…

Inform them about how they will not be able to adopt unless they get married right away. Hey Maniston, I get what you are saying about the ending of the article. I couldn’t decide if Wentworth was trying to be facetious or if she was really serious about celebs taking on causes that are really yucky, what celeb will want to be the face for erectile disfunction.
Artemis- I read your first post and hoped you will post more often. It is really the posters that make this site more fun than any other. There has not been any sighting of them for a week, but somehow we can entertain ourselves and argue amongst ourselves, sometimes the level of conversations here do get very elevated like yesterday, and when that happens it is fun to read, and so for the yesterday convo on adoption, I say thank you to MALIBUMOM, JPF, LYLIAN, LEETLE UN and everybody else who contributed. I do agree with almost everything said about the David adoption. These so called human rights activists that are now so concerned about David, where were they when that poor boy was in the orphanage, how much attention do they pay to the children still in the orphanages, dying on a daily basis. They are only trying to flex non existing muscle because they hope they will get some kind of payoff, and I find this so offensive because it is at the expense of a child they supposedly care about.
Madonna also has to take responsibilty for her part in the mess that has been created. She is not the first celebrity to adopt abroad, I don’t understand why there was so much media and cameras around even before the adoption process was complete. We always hear rumours of Angie and Brad adopting, but nobody really knows anything until the adoption process is over and they have the child. All Madonna has done is give ammunition to those opportunists and only the child will suffer if they succeed in the courts.
A big shout out to Leetle UN and The Real Lou and every other adoptive parent on this site. I have big respect to anyone who will open up their home and their hearts to take in a child.
