Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards’ status as a married couple is over, and they are now legally able to wed other people, according to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE.

However, the couple’s divorce is not yet complete: Still at issue is the final division of assets and custody arrangements over their two daughters, Lola, 1, and Sam, 2.

The couple wed in June 2002. Richards, 35, originally filed for divorce from Sheen, 41, in March 2005, when she was six months pregnant with their second child.

After splitting from Sheen, Richards began dating Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, 47. The two were first spotted together publicly in April.

Earlier this month, Sheen said he’s glad that Richards is with Sambora. “To know that it’s somebody decent and smart and a good parent to be around your children, that’s a good thing,” he told Ellen DeGeneres on her daytime talk show.

Sheen’s new girlfriend is actress/real estate investor Brooke Mueller, 29. Richards has similarly extended an olive branch to Mueller.

“Denise wants her to feel comfortable,” a Richards pal told PEOPLE last month. “She put together a bag with toys for her and the girls (Lola and Sam) along with a card telling her she’s glad (Brooke) makes their father so happy

ah, dan o’brien. my first obsession. i was there at the trials the day he no-heighted in the pole vault. something about the way he walked off the field, head still held high, made me adore him. i met him at the u.s. nationals 2 years later. talk about superfine. whew! i followed his career like a lovesick puppy. the last time i heard anything about him he was doing an infomercial for an abdominal pole.

Gail, I wish BAMZS fans would buy MAXIM, the pict inside and the article is great. The more BAMZS fans give a boost to their magz the more they realize this is the alpha-power couple ie the more pics we see on legit magz….

I think for Brad and Angie the more they talked and realized how much they “innocently” shared similar outlooks, desires and goals, feelings just grew and grew, and remained unsaid, and then during the Bogota reshoots in March 2005 it couldn’t be denied any longer. I really think this is when they both gave up and admitted feelings because it was from that time when we saw one, we saw the other. Like Angelina say’s it’s was one of those things that just happens, and I think that’s exactly how it’s gone from then to now.

After that, I think it was Brad doing the hard wooeing, and then I read something on Laineys once and it mirrored what I suspected….”not that it is true since it’s really my speculations, and Lainey’s reporting what she’s heard through her *sources*” nevertheless, I still have an easier time believing her over National Ledger, Star, Life & STyle etc.

Lurker24 GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!! Seriously, you’ve posted what I have always thought and never swayed from. This was a case of two people - could have been anyone - conversing about things I’m sure they probably also discussed with others. Sharing viewpoints, jokes, nothing innapropriate, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if on many of those occassions others working on the film weren’t also included.

I agree so much that:

1. They fell for one another long before but it went unsaid
2. Feelings came to the service during Bogota reshoots
3. Brad was the woo-er bigtime

I’ll add some other things *I* have always thought:

1. The hut wasnt rocking in Kenya. Sorry, but I will never believe that one.
2. Consumation IMO happened in England at AJ’s “after Morocco.”
3. AJ never knew BP confided his attractiong to X until after divorce.
4. Can’t stand Lainey, but will admit that some things I thought got backed up after the fact, and either she was a damn great guesser on those things, or she actually did have info from a real source.

There’s no info on the US DOS web site about Namibia, but from what I have heard about Africa it’s mainly the following countries where adoption is practiced and not so uncommon:

Ethiopia, South Africa, Liberia, and (on and off) Sierra Leone, altho they may be off right now.

lurker24 and Ojpf - Wasn’t there something said along the way that during the filming of MAMS that they had lunch together almost every day? I think you can get to know alot about a person over lunch. I also agree that there were probably alot of other people around who were in on the conversations as well. I think there was alot of initial surface attraction, but they both tamped it down to appropriate levels, and then they got to know each other slowly….they learned what was underneath each other’s exterior beauty, and they each liked what they discovered.

Was it the Bogota scene that was reshot? I thought it was the fight/sex scene. I know the alternative ending was filmed in Italy in the fall of 04, and that last therapy scene was filmed right before the premiere. I just wasn’t sure about the Bogota scene.

Ya’ll rememer Easy Reader? He/she always had such great posts, and something about that person seemed like they really had some kind of bead on what was going on with B&A. He/she said that B&A had been “together” since Feb 05. That they were grown adults, and they both knew what they wanted, and that after the spilt with Jen was announced, Brad moved very fast to make his life with Angie a reality.

As for myself, I am not sure, but I think after Italy in Fall of 04, Angie was definitely “in the loop” about what was going on in Brad’s life. I don’t think they were physical with each other until after the separation, but I think Angie knew what that little touchy-feely Antigua trip for Brad was all about, and she knew that when they came back, the separation was going to be announced. The intention for Brad and Angie to get together was there in Dec 04, IMO.

Brad AND Angie adopted Zahara together in June-July 05, and if they didn’t even really cement their bond physically until late April or even May of 05 (which is when they were in England, right?) then that’s an awful lot of big decisions to make together in 1-2 months. Plus…..those Showest pictures? His lips are the same color as her lipstick. I think it was already ON by then, but again, that’s just my opinion, which ain’t worth much, since I don’t know dayum thang, haha!!

I gotta jet for a spell, but I did want to get it posted that I have never thought a thing transpired between Brad & Angelina until after the divorce, and for me to believe or even say “never say never” were that particular situation is concerned would require *me* to see both of them as liars. Anyone can believe anything they want, but I choose to stick with what came out of the people who were there’s mouth on the subject. Might be foolish, but it’s something I feel compelled to do.

That said, yeah, words may have been put out there to the affect of “I gotta thing for you and I think you gotta thing for me too,” but that’s were I end it. Easy Reader can say/state the obvious all D day long about them being adults, but Brad & Jennifer hadn’t filed for divorce in Feb, and so I’m going with Angelina when she said she would not be with a married man. In 2/05? it was legal separation until further notice which came in 3/05.

As for Italy, that doesn’t fly now with me anymore than it did before. The Bogota re-shoots happened in March/05 in LA, and it’s during this “period” (not necessary on the set etc) that I hang my “this is when the big undeniable reveal” hat on. I think the Italy spin truly formed in Fan Fiction, and that was based on the photos of Brad assuming to be staring at her from behind very dark sunglasses. We can’t see his eyes, and so that’s one of those “he could be/or not” situations. There has never to my knowledge ever been one reputable story that anything happened in Italy. JMHO

Thank you Rica for the info. I was just reading about/looking at photos yesterdays of AIDS patients in Colombia, and how the lack of medicine can cause grotesque tuberculer tumors. Also was recently reading how more medicine is available in Haiti, but the lack of food is the problem. It seems that taking the medicine on an empty stomach just makes the person sicker, and so they’ll cease taking the medicine! Viscious sad cycle.
