OlderGeorge Clooney Rags on Brad Pitt
George Clooney playfully ragged on good friend Brad Pitt on last night’s The Late Show with David Letterman. George knocked Brad for also winning the title of “People’s Sexiest Man” twice. George joked of Brad: “He was a little upset. It sort of knocked his thing down a notch.”
Brad congratulated George’s win by taking out full-page ads in Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, which read:
Dear George,
Congratulations on being People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.
[insert cornball picture of George from 1985]
Your Friend,
“The Reverend Ted”
Yes, it’s in reference to that Ted. The Ted Haggard who was guilty of “sexually immoral conduct” and ex-pastor of mega-church New Life Church.
George retaliated on Letterman by showing old school pictures of Brad wearing tapered pants and a beret. Above is George imitating one of Brad’s cheesy poses.
George also joked of Matt Damon: “We felt bad for Matt Damon because he really wanted it. He campaigned hard for it but we think he just came up short.”

Oh my God, it was so good. I couldn’t stop grinning….I know, I know it’s pathetic but honestly, they were so in sync…..I mean it just flowed. finally a picture of brad in new orleans! and in gordon biersch of all places! if my memory serves, that’s not too far away from global green hq. anyhoo, methinks i shall HAVE to join my family on their sojourn to new orleans in a couple of weeks. it’s a burden, yes, but it must be done. so many loose ends to tie up….people to see…celebrities to stalk… etc. etc. besides, it’s been over a year since i’ve been home. i think the time has come!

I was seriously shocked to see how calm the thread at PH’s was when I popped in. Of course there’s the one person who never fails to do the “he’s a cheater, yada yada, he left his wife, yada yada” dance, but other than that the focus has been on all the mans fineness. So happy to see him chilling, and I don’t EVER worry about the women. Brad knows what he’s got right? DAMN straight I’m right!

resident adoption researcher now reporting for duty!
brad and angelina’s adoption options are limited by their lack of legal marital status. it’s a fact that i’m sure they’ve discussed. so far, in my own personal inquiries into international adoption, i’ve only run across vietnam and haiti as countries where they would be able to adopt with little hassle.

I am single and live with an opposite-sex partner and have adopted from Vietnam and Ethopia. We just didn’t broadcast it loudly that the person who lives in the house was my partner; he had to go through the whole criminal check/home study, and our social worker knew and had no problem with it, but technically on paper I adopted as a single woman. It may be a problem that B and A are known worldwide; countries would REALLY have to look the other way if they disapprove of unmarried partners living together, but it still would not be illegal from a technical standpoint: Angie would just have to adopt as a single mom and brad could adopt the kid when it got home.
China takes single people too.
If B and A got married, technically they would have to wait to adopt; for Ethiopia I think it’s two years. That’s a reason not to get married.

What are you trying to show us? You have to sign in to that site but even then, I dont know what you are referring to.
CNN’s entertainment segment had a story about celeb kids and it’s focus was the Jolie-Pitt brood, Madonna’s kids (wonder if Guy gets pissed that he’s never mentioned…anyway) and Britney. Well both Brangelina and Madonna got great marks, but Britney got raked across the coals but GOOD! I mean the reporter you could tell has a tude about it all and rightfully if you ask me. She said if she had done and was doing all that Brit is “like partying all night and showing her privates,” without a doubt the child services dept would have paid a visit at least twice now.
About Jolie-Pitt, she said they seem great parents, and the only question with them is “are they a here today couple or a flash in the pan.” I think she said something about Brad wanting to be a dad and how good he appears to be at it, but don’t quote me. I’m sure the transcript/video can be seen at CNN’s pg.

the homestudy will be what makes or breaks them. it was easy with zahara because they weren’t advertising their coupledom. but now the entire world knows that they live together and are raising a family together. that’s going to be REALLY hard for the authorities to look past. especially with all this madonna garbage going on. celebrity adoptions are going to be scrutinized even more heavily because of madge, and anything perceived as preferential treatment is going to put the process in jeopardy.

Was watching TV last night and they were talking about Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock and I found it ironic that AJ and BP who aren’t married outlasted a couple who got married in not 1, not 2 but 4 ceremonies!!!
