George Clooney Rags on Brad Pitt
George Clooney playfully ragged on good friend Brad Pitt on last night’s The Late Show with David Letterman. George knocked Brad for also winning the title of “People’s Sexiest Man” twice. George joked of Brad: “He was a little upset. It sort of knocked his thing down a notch.”
Brad congratulated George’s win by taking out full-page ads in Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, which read:
Dear George,
Congratulations on being People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.
[insert cornball picture of George from 1985]
Your Friend,
“The Reverend Ted”
Yes, it’s in reference to that Ted. The Ted Haggard who was guilty of “sexually immoral conduct” and ex-pastor of mega-church New Life Church.
George retaliated on Letterman by showing old school pictures of Brad wearing tapered pants and a beret. Above is George imitating one of Brad’s cheesy poses.
George also joked of Matt Damon: “We felt bad for Matt Damon because he really wanted it. He campaigned hard for it but we think he just came up short.”

there’s the rub. how many parents who were considering or in the process of adopting from malawi have pulled out because of this. the residency requirement is already a detriment. this power struggle puts up an even bigger wall.
Speaking of Clooney, Danny Devito was on the View this morning and looked drunk lol, he said that was out with George all night, the video is on TMZ.
OK boys and girls can anyone say “will work for food?” That’s right. That is the sign Malibumom will be holding on the sidewalk if she doesn’t get off of Justjared’s site and do some work! This *&^% is addicting!

George Clooney is one of the most interesting people in hollywood right now
======================================================
Are you serious? Clooney has got to be one of the most boring people in HW right now. Clooney goes on interviews and says the same damn thing every.single.time. I think I’ve heard that Matt campaigned hard for SMA thing about 5x’s now.
The Good German is going to be another bomb for Clooney. The movie is horrible to the point of people in the screenings laughing out loud at it.
Clooney’s a poser. His whole trip to Darfur wasn’t because he all of a sudden decided he wanted to go. He went because George wants in with the Bono’s , Brad’s and Angelina’s. Hell, Matt Damon went to Africa so George had to go. Always on someone else’s urging or coat tails. Just watch how comitted Clooney will be for Africa and specifically Darfur. That will be his father Nick’s cause not George’s.
Clooney is a famwhore of the highest order.
++++++++++++
Amen, sister/brother, amen.
Could someone - a Porgie fan - tell me exactly when Clooney got interested in Africa? IIRC it was after Brad called Bono and got involved…and after Brad and Angie hooked up.
I always thought that george and angelina would have been HOT together….steamy!
Original jpf, throughout 2005, after Brad and Aniston broke up and Brad took off with Angie, George was always answering questions about them. I remember someone was interviewing him during his Oscar campaign and he said: “I just want to say that I got somebody pregnant and it’s not Angelina Jolie”. This would be funny, only if it was done tastefully and said only once or twice. These comments were in addition to the 20 times he spoke about the pranks he pulled on Brad to the press, and dropping his name as if they were best friends or something. Also, don’t forget that it was George who said that Brad had committed to Ocean’s 13 when he hadn’t even sign a contract. George wanted the rumour to be in the press because George was desperate to get the movie done. Him and Steven Soderbergh. That’s why I was suprised when he turned around and said that him and Brad are “showbiz friends”, and looked really uncomfortable while doing it. Maybe they are, but if he didn’t blab so much about pretty boy Pitt and his lady love, the media wouldn’t ask him so many questions and wouldn’t think they were more than showbiz friends. George wants to be so clever and smart and used Brad’s name to be so witty *rolls eyes*, and then backpedals when people don’t find him so “charming”.
Anyone remember how the incident with gawker blew up in his face and people started making fun of him? He is a talented, funny man but the problem with George is that he thinks he’s way more intelligent and talented than what he really is. And that’s what a pretentious, smug person acts like.
That’s just my opinion. I used to like a lot before. All the overexposure, the magazine covers, and the Oscar that clearly went right to his head, killed a lot of the love I had for him. Now I just want him to go away for awhile.
mhmmmmm,
Brad and George SANDWICH.
Even more, seeing Brad and George in some man on man love and friends.
I love their friendship.. Brad has came out of a sort of shall.
George has been a wonderful supported to Brad and Brad has been a wonderful supporter of Brad
They Both show Matty some mad

It’s all perception. You and I don’t see him in the same way, and I gather that Brad doesn’t either. I’d think that if he and Angelina saw his actions in the negative, he wouldn’t continue to do them because somewhere along the way he’d have gotten that message one way or another to cut it out. I doubt he would disrespect them by carrying on something he knows they don’t appreciate. Another telltale is the ad’s taken out by Brad Pitt for congratulating “his friend” in not one, but two entertainment mags. That’s not something you do for a person you find irritating, insulting, coattail hanging, or knowingly name dripping. JMHO.

I am a mini-van mom, and I love me some Angie Jolie, I am an Angie fan all the way. A wonderful woman with a big heart.
Brangelina fan!
I am a mini van mom and I love Angie Jolie. I admire her, I think she is beautiful inside and out. Brad is one lucky ass fella.

I agree that they are in it mutually, and that Brad is way to much of a Zen masters to let a lot of more irritaings things get to him. he’s no doubt thinking of a prank to get him back as we speak. My problem is with the fact that he did it on national TV.
Their inside jokes were kept in the between them, cast, crews and the entertainment business . He had to bring it on national TV to get some buzz, just like someone else in his past life. That makes him look weasely
George Clooney recently became interested in Africa because of Brad Pitt but remember George’s dad was an unfluential man who George said even in Kentucky in the 60’s would make a big stink if anyone badmouthed African-Americans.
He said he knew as a kid if eating at a restaurant and a racist remark was made against African-Americans, he knew that his dad would speak up and knew it was time to leave that restaurant.
George’s family was always socially involved. Africa is just a natural progression and evolution in social activism that was part of George’s life since childhood.
His aunt Rosemary Clooney was active as well. She was a Kennedy supporter etc.
George is from a family of activists.
I love George.
My Husbands in order:
1) Brad Pitt
2) George Clooney
3) Benicio Del Torro
4) Denzel Washington
5) Collin Farrell.
that was great! i love how they can joke like that. brad’s not only sexy but funny as well. lucky angelina!
No pictures? S T I L L?????????????????
Who do they think they are, private citizens?

The relationship between George Clooney, Brad, and Matt Damon is one of very public pranks. They pull pranks on each other all the time. And they are often public pranks. Matt and Brad have both on nat’l tv talked about these pranks.
I think they are cute. And can only happen between men who are true friends and who are secure in themselves as all three are.

Sorry, but I find it all a plus and not weasely at all. I never fail to find on one site or another how George really doesn’t like BP, and doesn’t approve of his relationship with AJ. I read how BP doesn’t have the respect or friendships he did in the past. Ok, of course I don’t buy that silliness at all, but it’s still cool to see that _hit shot down via GC’s mentioning in good fun his friend.
What did he hurt? How is Brad taking out an ad in two (2) mags keeping the joke inside? Isn’t that bringing it to everyone who reads those publications attention?

Here is excerpt from an interview with Ocean’s cast where they are talking about pranks:
Interview:
The whole gang is back!
Q: What were some of the pranks you pulled on set?
DAMON: (Turning to Clooney) That bumper sticker you put on Brad’s car on the last day of shooting’s good.
CLOONEY: That was good. You know, that was just getting him back. We did a few pranks. There were some antics… You see, Brad had done some dastardly things to me… You guys might have already heard the story, but when we were in Rome, we first got to Italy, Brad had a memo put out in Italian that said to all the Italian crew that Mr. Clooney would appreciate it if you would only engage him as Danny Ocean or Mr. Ocean, don’t look at him in the eyes.
DAMON: The memo was just as if George had written it.
CLOONEY: And [they] handed it out so it really sound like I was trying to stay in character, so for about a month that went around. Everywhere I went, it was like, ‘Okay, Mr. Ocean.’ until I finally said, ‘What the hell?’ And when I found out, when it got into the paper that I was like this diva that made all the crew call me Mr. Ocean, I felt like I had to get him. So I just put a bumper sticker on the back of his car that said, there were two… I put one on that went for a few days that said, ‘I’m gay and I vote…’ And then it was, ‘Small ***** on Board,’ right? And that ran for a few days too.
DAMON: That was right on the side door so as he drove through LA rush hour…
CLOONEY: [It was] on the passenger door.
DAMON: People were honking at him and waving. And he thinks it’s because he’s Brad Pitt and he’s waving back.
That was a cute video. I like Men with a sense of humor. Both BP and GC are class clowns and have a zest for life.
This is funny too especially given how close George is to Julia Roberts:
Q: Mr. Clooney, you had spoken before about friendships being formed on this set.
GEORGE CLOONEY: Did I say that? No this was actually a job, this one. I don’t think, did anybody get along in this? I don’t really remember.
DON CHEADLE: Just answer the question, sir.
CLOONEY: Shut up, man. Oh, Mr. Hotel Rwanda, Mr. Actor. I guess I like Carl because he’s older.
CHEADLE: He can’t fight back.
CLOONEY: He can’t fight as well. It was really, there was no camaraderie at all on the set on this one. Quite honestly, nobody, Brad set the tone, and he’s such a movie star it was very hard to… It was fun, we had a great time. Always, fun people, except for Julia. We don’t like her, or her twins.
All right, I’ve acknowledge the fact that this has been going on for quite some time. They all get a kick out of it, and Brad likes to clown around.. The bumpersticker was on his car in LA or where ever. They spoke of pranks that had been pulled on each other on TV…spoke of them, not performed them. and the ads Pitt had put in where in trade mags. This one was put out there for all to see nationwide. I have a problem with that. When you do something like that, it becomes less like a prank and more like a stunt in which case GC becomes the star.
hey ladies, fellow BAMZS fans and kaway to my kababayans….this is interesting about the horoscope of our braddy….

Sagittarius Celebrity Stars
By the Astrocenter Team
Restless, adventuresome, here one minute then off on a tangent the next . . . It’s hard to keep our celebrity Sagittarians in one place.
And why would we want to? Sagittarians are the wandering gypsies of the Zodiac, the searchers, seekers, and storytellers who walk this world to bring mind-opening and mind-blowing experiences to you. Happy-go-lucky and good-humored, they’re the life of every party.
These freedom-lovers can also be found in airports, living abroad, or exploring the existential questions of existence.
Brad Pitt:
December 18, 1963
These days, it’s a fair bet that when Brad’s not on a movie set, he’s jet-setting to Africa to be with his leading lady. For the Sun Sign who virtually equates sitting still with depression, being in constant motion must be divine. Sagittarius thinks there’s so much to see, do, and be in the world, so much to discover about oneself; why on Earth would anyone want to limit himself to just one place? It’s the curse and the blessing of the Archer, the eternal restlessness, endless questing to find a world bigger than his own back yard. The Archer is a wild centaur - half man, half horse - and being fenced in, whether in the wrong relationship, the wrong identity, or the wrong job, is a curse far worse than restlessness. This lesson we’d do well to learn from Sag is that there’s nothing more valuable than freedom, and it is worth every penny of the high price it commands. When he fell for Angelina Jolie, Brad also began a relationship with the sad and beautiful Sudan region of Africa, where poverty limits everyone’s freedoms. It looks like Brad has discovered the Sagittarian Holy Grail: traveling abroad can give a person new perspective on the world and his place in it.

I don’t see the difference Deena. I have seen televised interviews where Brad is making fun of his buddies and vice versa.
These guys are so stunning and such megastars that they diffuse all the attention by making fun of themselves and of each other.
Given how socially conscious they all are, in a way it is saying, we are not important. World issues are more important so we will make fun of our fame.
I think it is sweet.
Fast forward: me the filling in the middle of a George Clooney and Brad Pitt cookie sandwich. Yum!
Sorry, had to add that. Love those two.

LMAO!!! I never heard either of these, but the memo and bumper stickers, and “we don’t like her, or her twins” have me crying real tears. Too funny and thanks.
I keep picturing Brad riding and waving lol.

From an Interview to the guys who won the Global Green proyect, ..
Jill: So much as I hate to do this, I have to ask: What was it like working with Brad Pitt?
Andrew: He was really nice and seemed to know what he was talking about, honestly. A lot of architects are skeptical about Brad Pitt’s sudden interest in architecture – but I have to tell you that from what we could tell, he seems pretty devoted to the cause of sustainable design, and of course the celebrity interest just helps elevate interest in our project, and we can’t argue with that!

alright Team Lara Croft….
But I want to fill in the middle if a Brad & Leo sandwich.
