I wish people would stop pretending as if Jennifer Garner is some innocent sweet girl. She cheated on her man with her co-star while she was married and then proceeded to continue the relationship after she divorced her husband on national TV.

Ben Affleck isn’t going to mess anything up. She might mess it up, she has a track record for doing that, at least he wasn’t married and all the mess about him is rumour.

Still, I think they look good together and are happy. They are trying to create a relationship that doesn’t have a thing to do with hollywood, while they are both still actors. That has to be hard. I think they will try their best and hopefully it will work. I hope they have more kids and remain strong and happy as they appear.

But stop with the Ben Affleck is a screw up mess because that’s not true. Garner and Affleck are both screw ups. Or maybe they are both just human. At any rate they have as much of a chance as the rest of us.

I love the Afflecks. Jen is stunning, and Ben with stubble is sexy as hell.

I really do hope they last ‘cos they seem so genuine and compared to other celebrity couples they are hardly really in the spotlight!!!

To Lula29 above: You are right about one thing, she is a cheater. However,you are terribly wrong about another. She didn’t cheat with Vartan. To the contrary, Affleck was the cause of her marriage going south. Foley got wind of the flirting and so forth taking place on the set of Daredevil which caused significant problems in the marriage and which ultimately caused the marriage to end. She only latched on to Vartan when J-Lo and Affleck hooked up. But when the J-Lo/Affleck relationship bit the dust, it didn’t take her long to get her digs in on Affleck to the point of cheating while in a relationship with Vartan. But her image continues to be whitewashed by her PR people who are paid very well. At one time, I thought she was the greatest person ever and my favorite but I digress.

Lula29 hit it right on the head, they are human, just like the rest of us. They’ve made mistakes in their life, the same as we all of done. I think they are a great couple and will beat the odds. Oh and Happy 1st Birthday to Violet!!

What’s missing from Jennifer Garner is attitude. JLo has some fire and some temper and that’s sexier.

I always thought Garner was a down-home type of girl, you know, traditional. Seems like from good family, morals, college educated, etc. No longer think so. I think she set her sights on Affleck the first time she met him. Then, she was waiting for the opportunity to “snag” him. Probably a case of “love at first sight” for her, a powerful feeling. Garner sure didn’t waste time allowing herself to get pregnant out of wedlock. Really surprised she did that. Didn’t think she believed in it.

I really doubt that Affleck said, “Ok, let’s try now to have a baby because I’m ready to be a father.” I think the relationship was sailing along and he enjoyed dating her. He didn’t have other prospects at the time and and I’m sure he knew how crazy she was about him. So, when she turned up pregnant, he had to do the “right” thing. So, he married her in a secretive ceremony on some beach with few guests. I don’t understand the stars. When sure of true love and money is no problem, why downplay such an important event? I hope this marriage works.

I love Jen’s dress, she’s got a great body. Not feeling the make up though.

Scott Foley has actually said himself that Garner did not cheat on him. I doubt he’d say that if that weren’t the case. The tabloids like to make stuff up, and of course they published stories about her cheating when she was linked to Vartan not long after she and Foley had decided to split. And she didn’t cheat on Vartan, either. They had already broken up when Garner and Affleck met again while shooting a scene for Elektra, and started going out.

I know that’s what he says, but Garner is not miss innocent at all so the implication that if a break up happens it will be because Affleck goes back to his ways is bogus. Foley is a gentleman, but Garner is not that innocent.

I don’t hate Garner, but I’m saying, she’s not perfect. Just because she’s a woman doesn’t mean she will be the automatic victim. Her and Affleck seem happy. I wish them the best.

Opinion,

Stop trying to make Garner a victim because she’s a woman. She kind of has a track record. Does it make her satan, no. I don’t judge at all, I’m just irritated that some women need to make a woman the innocen victim in every situation when that’s obviously not the case.

A lot of people smile in pictures. A lot of people cheat to end a relationship. Garner happens to be like a lot of people.

Again, I don’t hate Garner at all. I think she even looks good in these photos, though some have ripped her. I started to comment just because people were stating “I hope Affleck doesn’t screw up” like as if Garner is an angel. I just had to add my “Oh please!”.

I don’t believe Garner is innocent, but she won’t do anything against Ben Affleck unless he does something first. She adores him, but he looks hesitant to me. It will be Ben who messes things up if they are going to get messed up. He’s the one who battled alcohol and gambling. I predict.

I am a big fan of Jennifer Garner and I want to know her better by knowing where whe is at and all that and I just want to be best friends with her and I am the biggest fan of Alias Seasons 1-5. I hope you get to see them.
