What was Ricky Martin doing wearing those crotch pocket pants this past Thursday? Helping kids, of course! Ricky helped drum up support for the Teleton Foundation of Mexico, which is gearing up for its tenth annual Teleton fund raiser. Ricky visited the “Centro de Rehabilitación Infantil Teletón” (CRIT), which is a rehabilitation center in Mexico, spreading the holiday cheer to all the Mexican physically challenged children being cared at the rehab center.
Background: “The goal of Teleton is to unify the community with physically challenged people, promote their acceptance and integration into society, create and build rehabilitation centers, and support organizations devoted to this issue.”
