Thanks Just Jared. Babel is an exceptional Movie. Thanks for the latest Box Office figures. People should take the time to see Babel. It is a complex, emotional Movie with great acting. I hope that BP and other cast members continue to receive award nominations as well as Oscar Nominations. Cate B sounds like a good friend to both BP and AJ. She is also a great actress and deserves to be in “top ten highest paid” over some of the mediocre actresses listed by the Hollywood Reporter.

With these two stars combined bursting in sexual chemistry (and parenthood!), a simple photo in a desert together, looks irresitably appealing. Cate B is a wonderful actress, but still lacks in the ‘all-around’ ness, the kind of movie-star aura Brad has. This is something someone is born with and people around have no choice but to bask in the aura. Angie got it, too, so with these two auras (!) what are we mortals do but to amire them LOL? This is why Aniston look all of the sudden very very plain sans Brad.

Alexandrina: Good point to “I Won’t See It” : The Break Up is really lame (just ask me from enduring it last night). Since I had to watch it with my step dtr. (trying to bond at the uncomfortable age of 19 years old - yeah right) I took the opportunity to really watch X act. Having never seen the movie, but endured all the hype, it was the proof that I knew that her range is very limited. I can not see any raw emotion from her, nor did I laugh at any parts of the movie (nor did step dtr.) I grew up with Meryl Streep and Jessica Lange as my favorite actresses, so my standards are pretty high. Hell, Tootsie was alot funnier than TBU.

Waiting to see where our maize and blue team heads…..I’d like to sneak off and see Babel for a second time. I’ll blow putting the Xmas tree up til next weekend….

Well, with all the troubles down there, they probably have “rules” about staking out houses. I read they have one in the Garden District (?); it’s not on a highway like Malibu, and really, where are they gonna hang looking for them? Plus, it’s only been a week, the kids probably need sometime to acclimate to the new time zone they are in. And, Angie sure looked tired by the end of her shoot. Hopefull, they are taking it easy and have a giant back yard visible to no one.

I watched a story about Princess Di today, and a woman from Harlem NY who met with her once said something that made me think immediatly of Angelina.

She said that Lady Di went to the places she did because she knew that the world would follow her there. We’d have no choice but to see what’s going on in the worlds backyards. She knew her “celebrity” could be used to shine a light on the plight of others, and she had found her purpose in that along with being a mother to her sons who she would take out on the coldest of London nights alone, and to parts where homeless lived to show her kids how fortunate they were, and how they had a responsibility to help were they can, and they weren’t better than anyone else because of what they had been born to.

It just all made me think about Angelina Jolie, and wonder why is this so hard for people to understand that about Angelina? Everytime I read someone say “why does she have to be always in the news?” or “can’t she do anything without bringing attention to herself?” OR “they’re such media whores” I just want to cyber smack them silly.

Btw, I really think Princess Di and Angelina would be friends had things been different.

IZZY- Just read you are a fan of Jessica Lange.I am too. Got 2 of her movie from the library. BROKEN FLOWERS, with Bill Murray and DON”T COME KNOCKING with Sam Shepard. Also in the later pic. is a really oldie star, Eva Marie Saint.
Both are wonderful movies. . JLange and S.Shepard, Just like the Sarandon/Robbins, Russell/Hawn has shown the naysayers that love ,partnership and family commitment will survive without that piece of paper-marriage contract.
I know the Jolie-Pitt relationship will last as long as those couples I mentioned above. It’s been almost 2 yrs. after his divorce and the recent sightings with their beautiful children are positive indications of a loving relationship.

Good Mama and Malibumom : I get your points. But you know, if they can post the most racist and vile comments everytime a Zahara picture goes up on those threads then certainly they can put up with my ranting about how wonderful Brangelina is.

Too often people like that want to shut you up by being racist and cruel - I can’t even repeat some of the things I have heard on that thread. I have even emailed Dlisted on how offensive and racist I think some of the posters are and they should be banned but it is hard to ban them.

I made a decision, particularly when my little niece was born who is part black and part white, that whenever racists spill their venom, I would argue right back with them. They want us to crawl in a hole and say nothing.

It may be a losing battle but I’m willing to fight it. On a Madonna tread with a picture of David Banda on her back, one poster said Madonna had “a monkey on her back”. That is unacceptable and foul. So that is why I talk back to them.

Last, they should not think I represent ALL BAMZS fans just as much as Zahara and David Banda do not represent all little black kids. I do the same in my office with people who indirectly support Mel Gibson’s tirades, etc. I go out of my way to set them straight. It may not get through but it is, for me, worth the fight.

I work in Entertainment, in Los Angeles, and you would think people would be more open minded here but you will be alarmed to hear some comments made even toward Angelina - who many have never even met. Jealousy, I tell ya.

I thought these two were broken up a long time ago, and if Aniston is in London why haven’t we seen pictures? Oh, that’s right, no one gives a **** about her any more.

Also, the power-players on the set (we all know it’s the drivers) report than Jennifer Aniston has been dragging her huge chin there to watch her beau spin out strands of comedy magic, and she’s quite obviously lugging a mini-Vince around in her womb as she’s sweating for two.

The poor sods who have to do the real acting (learning words and not just standing there with a quizzical look and gurning), Paul Giametti and John Michael Higgins, are described as “lovely”.

I have attempted to post on occasion, but it is a never-ending cycle and you feel dirty from the experience. I applaud anyone who tries to rationalize with those nutcases. However, for the most part the people that post there are simply instigators and not worth the effort. They are not worth engaging in a fight with and some will get bored and move on to other sick hobbies. Goodmama: I’ll tell you exactly when I started posting, in September 2006. I know this because before that I was working in New Mexico as a Production Assistant on a film.

So I doubt I had anything to do with the hatred on those sites.

I do fight for my ideas and beliefs (maybe I am naive). My brother married a black woman who has a black daughter from a previous marriage and my brother has a son (who he hardly sees from a previous marriage) and they also have a daughter who is biracial. My family is a melting pot. So I refuse to let racists win. Or sexists.

I do think it is unfair to think I have anything to do with sentiments that this nutsos have clearly held onto since they were tots.

Also, they criticize the camaraderie on Just Jared amongst BAMZS fans. So you see these nutsos criticize anything.

Yeah, I had many “uncles” when I was growing up. And all were wonderful couples (gay cuoples). Some of them are no longer here with us. Amazing how many people died in the 80’s. People have no idea.

Then Juliette goes on to say, Brad got so famous he eclipsed her, and that they really weren’t even in the same circles after a while, and that they really didn’t know each other as adults, but that he was a GOOD MAN.

SO…with the exception of Juliette, and Angelina Jolie (who was already a millionaire Oscar winner and 3 time Golden Globe winning highly acclaimed FILM STAR at 25, 3-4 years before she even MET Brad) BRAD PITT is like fooking King Midas with the rest of these beeyatches…when he’s around they turn to GOLD..when he’s gone, they tarnish and sit on the shelf (Waves to Paltrow…and Maniston, who is getting ready to take her seat right beside her former nemesis…unless she gets another crappy sit-com, or stars in yet another ‘rom-com’ with a ‘hot’ male comedy star….coattail riding is her specialty, ya know?).

According to BBT his relationship with Laura Dern had been over for a while and she knew that. Now, you guys know I’m no BBT fan so he could easily be lying. But…I can work up any sympathy for Laura Dern because she glommed onto a married man and got pregnant by him before he’d even started the divorce proceedings. And that wasn’t too long after she made the comment that she’d thought she was till engaged to BBT when he married Angie. Dreamgirls is pissing me off, the campaigning being done for this movie is fuuking ridiculous. Why the hell is everyone losing their sh+t over this movie???? yeah it is probably a good times movie meant for sheer entertainment, but since when are Jennifer freaking Hudson and freaking BEYONCE worthy of an Oscar??? Eddie Murphy I can handle because at least he’s an actor, but sh+t, all Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson do is sing with shiny dresses on and big hairdos. Frick, it’s no better than Whitney in the Bodyguard, and I don’t remember that getting any Oscars. Sorry, but I just cannot stand the thought of a hack musical winning over movies with much more depth (Babel, the Departed, Little Children, Flags of Our Fathers, Half Nelson). It pisses me off that because of this gigantic pimp machine called Dreamgirls films like Half Nelson and LIttle Miss SUnshine are pushed off to the side. And it’s not even out yet!!!

Contrary to assumed opinion, it’s not the actors who get bent and call it about race that they didn’t win. It’s people like that tired conk wearing so-called preacher and the other so-called preacher using it. The only time I have ever felt the card got played was THE COLOR PURPLE, AMISTAD and MALCOM X. MALCOM X was/is a masterpiece “imo,” and if I could go back in time, Denzel would have get it for that one instead of TRAINING DAY. Denzel as Malcolm was/is one of the most amazing performances ever, at least I think.

If Beyonce is even mentioned I will ***** from east to west. She’s a pretty woman, she’s a good entertainer if you like what she brings, but leave it there. Hell, Raven could act rings around her!

Brad is really, really smart, always has been. (No wonder the prickly tone Brad adopted with Rolling Stone writer Chris Heaths: How do you feel when people make out that you’re really dumb??) He majored in art design at MU, and traveling for films has exposed him to more sights.

He’s also taken interest in Timberbrook, his father Bill’s exclusive housing development in south Springfield where the Pitt clan and others live. Brad has a huge, tree-filled future home site in the gated community, but no plans to build yet.

He was a big help to me on my house. He’s real big-picture oriented. Id show him the plans, and he’d take out his red pencil and mark all over it.

What’ different? (Laughter) I have a new set of floor plans. Brad made better use of natural light and took advantage of the trees and waterfall.
