Gwen Stefani Winds Up the Billboards
Gwen Stefani and hubby Gavin Rossdale looked quite the perfect pair on the red carpet at last night’s 2006 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. What’s up with Gwen’s alien curly hair, you ask? Looks good to me!
Gwen put on a good show, performing her hit single, “Wind It Up.” Watch the performance below!

wind it up has grown on me. but i LOVE her new album. early winter and yummy are my jams right now.

The show went on without a host, believe it or not. I believe Kid Rock just introduced the first pair or presenters and that was it. He didn’t even say anything significant. Just the introduction. Weirdness.
it was strange. jared what did you think of janet? the whole show was a little foregettable for me, to be honest.

I believe this woman has talent somewhere. She needs to stop thinking of Madonna. Madonna was a dancer; Gwen can’t dance. She needs to stop with the the theatrics and big hair and makeup and sing some serious music that people will remember.
am i the only one that thinks this song is stupid? i actually like gwen very much, and i like her voice, but this song is a no no for me..
This is one stupid song. That whole goat thing makes no sense to me. Some of these people need to take a break if they cannot come up with anything better cause damn this was a bad performance. The stupid shorts she had on did not help either.

People love Gwen and I like her but I can also be honest her song is atrocious and the look sucks. She is what she is but lately she has been overrated
I think Gwen was way better in the beggining…she tried to turn all gansta and in hte end looks pretty F-ing stupid. I think all her recent songs suck…No Doubt she sucks without her band
That song sucks. It tries TOO HARD. Look at her face even she doesn’t like it. What’s next Gwen takes the theme song to Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood for her next album?
How about she concentrates on making good music instead of catchy music or getting more cds or pushing her products.

I’m sorry I missed that performance. Gwen is an awesome performer and I love that she still sings live in most of her live performances still compared to other female artists who have just as much going on on the stage.
I beg to differ. I think her performance was pretty electric considering the Billboard Awards is usually sucks anyway. Always has and seems like it always will.
You can tell there was no energy in the place because Gwen yells at the end “Come On” like she was trying to get the crowd amped up. Her energy was wasted on that show.
When this weak performance is said to be the best of the awards I just have to wonder. Mary J Blige sang her heart out and Janet danced hard. Let us all just forget this stupid song already. Those stupid shorts she wore did not make it any easier on the eye. Girl tries too hard if you ask me.
Is anyone other than me hearing this song? This has got to be the worst music I have ever heard. Yodeling paired with the swiss lullaby-esqu music paired with Gwen rapping about her dumb clothing line and boys = PAINFUL TO LISTEN TO. Why is she such a hit? I thought her last album was dumb too. Bananas? eeeeeeeeeeeeek
I do agree with a lot of people when they say that Gwen needs to go back to NO DOUBT; all her music is going bananas without them…I really hope she realizes what she is doing….and stop trying to be someone she is not…
I don’t want to get caught up in the middle of this but, I still like her music- it sounds good and most girls (ladies) seem to dig it. I would get Gwen Stefani cut out of that image and print her as a BIG Wallhog for my wall and my art collection.
