Janet Jackson’s Bangin’ Bangs
I don’t know who’s dressing poor Janet Jackson these days but gosh, she looked horrible last night in her red carpet and performance outfits. What’s with the Village Of The Damned bangs? Or the suit as a dress? The cuffs?? Not flattering. At all.
Janet performed a medley of “Pleasure Principle” and “So Excited” in the aforementioned (and very unfortunate) wig. The choreo was hot. The dancing was hot. But did anyone notice the possibly drawn on abs? Did Janet pull a Mariah Carey or what? Watch the video of her performance below!

Jermaine may be a talented, hard-working dude, but I think Janet lost some fans when she hooked up with him. He identifies mainly with black culture and people, and part of Janet’s success has been due to the fact that she appealed to a variety of people.
All those comparing Britney to Janet need their heads checked. Say what you want about Janet but there is no other female entertainer who can dance like her period. I say female because Michael is the best dancer on the planet. Anyway even thinking of arguing with that look up the Smooth Criminal video. All the young acts out there are copying Janets style be it in videos or when they perform live. Did anyone catch Beyonce’s Ring the Alarm performance with this long trench coat That is Rhythm Nation all over again.
If you still wonder whether Janet is a good performer let us remember that she has already been around for 20 years. Not many artists sell as many records when they are out there for 20 years as they did when they first came out. It will be interesting to see whether some of these weak acts like Britney will even last the next five years. I think not. Relax everyone there is only one Janet and she has made her mark in History.
Things will never go back to the way they were. People had a whole different work eithic long ago. Young people today spend their time partying, drinking, drugging, and posing for cameras instead of honing their craft. People aren’t as serious about being truly great at what they do. They sing a song in front of an audience and believe that qualifies them to act in movies.
Pop music has produced a lot of entertainment, but not a lot of great singers. Michael Jackson could dance and sing. He could sing dance songs and slow songs. From the time he was a kid, he had a wonderful, expressive voice that could move people with a song.
Today, I believe that some of the most talented singers are coming from American Idol.
I enjoy listenen to janet music,she is a great proformer,and a vey classy lady.I just wish people would stop the hate,of a beauiful blackwomen,who finally got a black man some ******* want to hate on. get a life
