Tomorrow, 12-08-06 is Zahara Marley Jolie Pitt’s birthday. She will be two years old. Now people can stop getting her birthday wrong. I think it is funny that Oprah backed JLo when she broke up with Diddy. Remember J-Lo came on the show and described how she and Chris Judd had fallen in love, and how happy she was to be out of her relationship with Diddy. What happened? A month later they were divorced. Then Jen came on whinnying about her breakup with Brad, and how wonderful and loyal Vince was. Now the truth comes out. Why does Oprah allow herself to be duped by these women? Does she want to be a friend to the stars or what? If so she continues to pick the wrong “stars”. Oprah never embraces strong stars, and she never hears the other side of the story. X has made her look foolish. Her very best friend used her for her own selfish gain.

Zahara’s birthday is 1/8/06. It’s on the papers to legally change the kids names to Jolie-Pitt

CLINIQUA, I think you need to calm down. Oprah was only impying that she thinks it’s great that Brad and Angie saved a child’s life. It sounds like she was in the heat of the moment so she refered to Zahara as a black baby but I am glad she said that because that is the ONLY reason why BAMZ gets critizism for adopting is because they haven’t adopted a white child. Nevermind the thousands of American families who adopt from Asia every year everyone wants to critize BAMZ. Sometimes you people should calm down and stop thinking that everyone wants to attack Brad and Angie. That is not the case.

Angie had Maddox for 5 years, and she was praised for adopting him in the press, ditto when she brought Zahara home (see her & Zee’s adorable People cover) - it’s only because of the Maniston ‘triangle,’ and Brad being painted as a lying cheating scumbag and Angelina as a maneater, that they get negative press from some folks (mostly Okra’s Jen fans)

…sure you have your few idiots that squawk their ‘what about America nonsense’ but that has nothing to do with race, but more that they somehow think the world’s wealthiest superpower and oldest democracy should be first in line over 3rd world countries dying from disease and warfare when it comes to saving babies. Last time I checked, we were supposed to ELECT people to make our country better, and who would save our children…not have to rely on Hollywood actors.

For the most part both Brad and Angelina, in poll after poll are seen as great parents, hands-on and a wonderful tight-knit loving family.

Okra is just trying to draw them into the bad press that was Madonna’s hastily arranged copy cat adoption. But adding that, them “carrying around a little black baby” is “SO OKAY WITH ME,” she says - takes the cake.

Oooooh, well thank you GREAT Oprah - now that you’ve sanctioned Brad and Angelina’s family in the eyes of the public, everything’s fine eh? They were doing so poorly regarding public sentiment - why people were just shaking their heads in disgust at Zahara thriving and flourishing in their care, weren’t they?

All that was needed was Oprah’s ‘okay’ and approval….and Brad & Angie can now be seen as good human beings.

Look Angelina was honored by the UN, and by the Global Adoption Organization, Brad Pitt is seen by most everyone is being a terrific father, they don’t need Okra’s okay to raise their daughter.

By the way, if you’re astute enough, you can pick up when someone is being dismissive or less than generous. “Carrying around,” is the same descriptive Michael Douglas used — and in my opinion, it’s used to demean and dismiss their actions as parents. To differentiate bio babies from adopted ones. “Carrying around,” is the new way to dismiss adoptive parents and their children.

I agree with you Cliniqua. You very rarely ever hear someone when discussing a parent and their biological child use “carrying around” It’s a disgusting term for Oprah to have used. Then again, I think Oprah went off her rocker years ago when she thought she was a movie star and the film bombed.

You are an insanely jealous beyatchie. If the 5 posts in 5 seconds didn’t tell me that — the comment about her ears would, simply because the truth is very obvious….her ears are perfect.

I love the fact that she doesn’t have those flappy floppy gigantor lobes like Chin Maniston. Maniston’s ears look like Wilford Brimley’s - I swear she’s got 20 inches of lobe going there. Pretty nasty.

Angelina looks fine. I can’t believe people are citing her looks from the ‘Foxfire’ days; she was still a baby, with baby fat. She was beautiful then, she’s beautiful now.

Okay, I’m going to try and play the devil’s advocate here. Maybe Oprah said it that way referring to the way the critics/haters identify with Zahara. Most of the time they say Brad and Angie are parading around their black baby everywhere for good publicity. So, maybe because she’s defending them against the critics, she’s saying it the way they say it. I have heard both black and white people refer to Zahara as the ‘that black baby of BA’. It might also be the way the question is phrased to her and we don’t know how the question was phrased.
