This is an interesting poll in which the way the options are ordered. Let’s assume that the survey respondents are representative of movie-going crowd. The options are as follows:
a. would make a special effort b. would consider seeing c. would avoid seeing: a>b>c. The way Gallop announces the results is a>b>c (read as “a” is preferred to “b” is preferred to “c”). The final ranking is done on the percentage of responses to “a”. T. Hanks has the highest “a”, C. Diaz has the lowest “a”.

The ranking, however, can be read from another perspective: For T. Hanks people’s preference ranking is as follows: b>a>c; For C. Diaz (the lowest ranking) it is also b>a>c, so in both (actually in all) cases more people answered “would consider seeing” than “would make a special effort”. According to a ranking over the most chosen option: more people answered “b” over “a”.

So what would be the appropriate ranking? According to Gallup, ranking over “a” is good enough; in other words the final ranking is done over the second best option “a”, disregarding the most chosen option “b”. But this way disregards the preferences over “b” and “a” and hides the true ranking: More people “would consider” rather than “making a special effort”. Read this way: According to the most popular option, more people “would consider seeing” L. DiCaprio compared to T. Hanks.

Preference ranking is difficult by itself,-think about voting practices-, and the way the Gallup poll ranks the results disregards the democratically chosen option “b: would consider”, but pushes forward “a: would make a special effort”, because of the way Gallup ranks the options (a>b>c). Think this way: More people voted for party “B”, but in the final count the candidate receiving the highest number of votes in the second best party “A” is selected to the office, because some authority believes party A is better than party B.

There is another problem, the candidates offered as options and the context are not mutually exclusive: The selected actors and actresses do appear in the same movies. In plain words, I am curious how people who will make a special effort for seeing DeNiro (33%) will “avoid seeing” Damon (10%) and Jolie (18%) who all happen to act in the same movie: According to Gallup “DeNiro directs and co-stars with Matt Damon and Angelina Jolie in a film about the CIA entitled The Good Shepherd, which is scheduled for release Dec. 22.” - close their eyes perhaps?

It doesnt surprise me that haters are saying it is photoshopped. I expect this whenever a postive pic is released of this couple. The pic comes from this news site.

I think these haters/critics are obsessed with BAMZS, particularly AJ. They keep checking JJ daily for pictures of B and A. They are on these haters web sites (i.e. Female First) daily asking the other posters if they have seen pictures of B and A. Their obsessive need fuel them. The fans only wish the best for them and their children. The haters/critics follow their every move, know stats about the couple, what clothes they wear and what houses they have. If they purchase anything new, the critics know about it. This obsessive need to know everything about B and A would be funny if it was not pathetic. Worry about your own compulsive behavior and leave the fans to support the couple. B and A are international stars. Their Movies do well domestic and internationally. VV and JA cannot say the same. However, more important than any career is family. I think B and A would choose family over any career. They have enough money to retire today and live happily with their family.
I love all the poems.

Oh, jen, we remember the polls like which couple will last longer: VV/JA or BP/AJ. Vaughniston won the poll, but now we see where they are, that fake couple has already broken up. So please try to use your two braincells, because these polls have nothing to do with reality.

I didn’t believe it at first, but I think Brad and Angie will make it work and have a pretty good fab life together. They can’t possibly get bored. Jolie is not like Jen who surrounds herself with girlfriends. Jolie is more family oriented and seems to have built a strong bond with Brad. Traveling the world with their children builds closeness and intimacy.

Of course we don’t know what’s ever going to come around the pike, but I think short of death, they’ll be together. I also believe his kin have to see the differences between what he was missing and what he’s found. I’d like to believe they (Pitts) see a clearer picture of ex now that it’s from a different vantage point. Angelina puts her family forefront, and she and Brad with three kids in tow, let nothing keep them from that constant connection. Brad has got the life he wanted and his family has to see that it was Angelina that gave it to him.

Seriously folks! Can these two get any more adorable?!?! He must feel so lucky to have a woman in his life who appreciates his love of architecture. Angie may not be passionate about architecture but she sure is passionate about her man.

Could everyone stop answering to all those sick people who see a sweet picture of two people that are in love and all they can do is making nasty comments?Ignore them.

I’m not surprised. People were screaming ‘photshop’ when the baby shower pic came out. Then, when the full story came out about James’ camera being stolen and the thieves solicited offers for the images, then they cried foul when the feds intervened. ‘Abuse of taxpayers’ money’ - nevermind the fact that the thieves committed mail fraud, a federal offense.

Now this is proof of a post that is pure hate and envy. No way can anyone from this pic, find angelina to be “needing to eat something” she is in a bulky coat.. for crying out loud.

I hope they never tire of paying attention to each other’s interests and that they continue to love and support and learn and grow with each other. They look really happy. What a lovely moment to have captured in this picture. I wish them well. I really do.

They both had to go through the bad relationships before they met each other and so that they now know how to really love another person. They were both the givers in their other relationships and now they are showering the love and attention on their partner - one who truly deserves it and do not take each other for granted. So in fact we have to thank BBT and Gwen and Jen for making them the best partners they can be. Long may they love each other! :)
