OlderAngie’s Secret Birthday Gift to Brad

Brad Pitt turns 43 in ten days, Dec. 18 and Angelina Jolie had a secret birthday gift ready for him yesterday afternoon in Ohiopyle, (Bear Run), Pennsylvania. The gift involved Fallingwater, one of architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s works, which was designed in 1936 for the family of Pittsburgh department store owner Edgar J. Kaufmann. (Fallingwater is the building behind Brad and Angelina.) Read all about it after the jump!!

Brangelina In Town For Pitt’s Secret Birthday Present
The workers at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater got quite a surprise Thursday afternoon when Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie showed up for a tour of the estate.
According to a spokesman for Fallingwater, Pitt and Jolie arrived just before 3 p.m. for the tour, Jolie’s gift to Pitt for his birthday.
“Brad said he had wanted to experience Fallingwater ever since he took an architectural history course in college,” Fallingwater’s curator of education Cara Armstrong said. “He and I talked quite a bit about design and art. He was incredibly well-informed about architecture.”
The couple took a two-hour private focused tour, led by Armstrong, who described the couple as “very gracious and very engaged in the house.”
“Brad said he had a visual sense of Fallingwater but experiencing it in person, hearing the sound of the waterfall cascading under the house and smelling the wood from the fireplace was better than anything he could have imagined,” Armstrong said.
After the tour, Jolie had arranged to have champagne and caviar sent in, which the couple shared in a private birthday celebration in Fallingwater’s living room. Afterward, they invited the staff to join them and encouraged them to take the “snacks” home.
Arrangements for the visit began about a week before Thanksgiving when staff at Fallingwater received a call from Jolie’s personal assistant in Asia.

Tina—normally I try very hard to understand what goes thru a twisted Chinnochio fan, but after two years of observing you all, considering I have never posted at JA threads or any other blog. Well, sweetpea you are on, I’ll take you on anywhere anytime, cause the time is ticking for the chinnochio fans, how very sad, but in all honesty you put up a good fraud fight thanks to your idol Jen and Huvane….. BUT YOU LOST :lol: :lol: :lol: and lost BIG TIME!!!!!!!! Ladies I posted at Perez for the first time and I not proud of it, but I thought it would be like my X-mas present for Chinnochio……. Tina- honey, happy holidays…try getting a life for 2007 New tears resolutions….. :-)
OH. MY. OH MY. I had been waiting for new pics of the Jolie-Pitts and these are well worth the wait, I must say.
I think that both Brad and Angie must feel overjoyed and building a castle of love and caring. They both have found that dreams do come true. They have found what they were searching for. People said that their love was improbable, but they took a leap of faith and found the love that they were seeking to discover.
I think that sometimes when the papz are flashing their bulbs at them with the kids, Angie gets a look of concern, but I wouldn’t read it as anything else but that. Brad seems a little more relaxed with the situation.
Angie looks absofrickinglutely stunning in the photos by herself…what a classic beauty. Gotta love our BAMZS tonight folks……

First the most thoughtful and respectable present from Angie to Brad for his 43rd birthday. An arranged tour in a place where Brad was so eager to see and experience and plus a private celebration in the leaving room of the house! Such a wonderful act to someone you love and most of all RESPECT!!

Hi Estelle, the party was great, I had fun, and right now I am so freaking buzz it is not funny, I never had cosmo before, so it was a new thing for me and I love it, and there are no pictures of me sitting on the copy machine with the lamp shade over my head, I was a very good girl :lol:. When Jase picked me up he was like “you are buzzed and smell of alcohol”, Estelle I cannot believe that I drink like that, but it was fun though. And can you believe that I am going in to work tomorrow to do some overtime, but the good thing is that there is a Starbuck right across the street from my job

Tina’s post are getting more weird each time. Just dont understand the mind of those Jen fans. If Huvanne hired people to post, at least he should hire better people.
don’t care about brad pitt or whomever but i will say that he has great taste in architecture. being an arch intern myself, it’s always nice to see fellow modernists. but i will say that brad pitt is no brighter or keen on architecture than any first year graduate. i’m glad for the hype he brings to the modern design world but he’s not the first. i’m surprised he hadn’t visited fallingwater already. it’s an icon in modern architecture.
too bad there weren’t more pictures of the house…sure looks beautiful in the snow!
