Brad Pitt turns 43 in ten days, Dec. 18 and Angelina Jolie had a secret birthday gift ready for him yesterday afternoon in Ohiopyle, (Bear Run), Pennsylvania. The gift involved Fallingwater, one of architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s works, which was designed in 1936 for the family of Pittsburgh department store owner Edgar J. Kaufmann. (Fallingwater is the building behind Brad and Angelina.) Read all about it after the jump!!

Brangelina In Town For Pitt’s Secret Birthday Present
The workers at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater got quite a surprise Thursday afternoon when Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie showed up for a tour of the estate.
According to a spokesman for Fallingwater, Pitt and Jolie arrived just before 3 p.m. for the tour, Jolie’s gift to Pitt for his birthday.
“Brad said he had wanted to experience Fallingwater ever since he took an architectural history course in college,” Fallingwater’s curator of education Cara Armstrong said. “He and I talked quite a bit about design and art. He was incredibly well-informed about architecture.”
The couple took a two-hour private focused tour, led by Armstrong, who described the couple as “very gracious and very engaged in the house.”
“Brad said he had a visual sense of Fallingwater but experiencing it in person, hearing the sound of the waterfall cascading under the house and smelling the wood from the fireplace was better than anything he could have imagined,” Armstrong said.
After the tour, Jolie had arranged to have champagne and caviar sent in, which the couple shared in a private birthday celebration in Fallingwater’s living room. Afterward, they invited the staff to join them and encouraged them to take the “snacks” home.
Arrangements for the visit began about a week before Thanksgiving when staff at Fallingwater received a call from Jolie’s personal assistant in Asia.

how cute, Angelina’s so thoughtful. She could’ve got him some ostentatious gift, but instead gave him a gift he probably wouldn’t have gotten around to doing himself. and they look like a couple of kids out in the snow. oh, I wish I could hug them.

Hi!
First of all, sorry about my English, I’m not an English speaker.
Of course this gift is very beautiful and very romantic, any doubt about it. But I have remembered a quote from October 2001’s W magazine about Brad, which told this (I have found the quote) :
“But his wife “definitely has a love” for design, too, he says. Indeed, Aniston was supportive enough to give him a surprise weekend stay at a private Greene and Greene-designed house for his birthday last year.”
So, I’m afraid, if W magazine is right, that this is not the first that Brad receives this kind of gift from his partners.

You may not speak english very well but you sure have a great command of it when writing. Your syntex isn’t much different than someone from say Toledo. Your puncuation and grammer rules are damn great, and interestingly enough, if you hadn’t felt the need to devulge that the kings english isn’t one you excell at, I wouldn’t have known going strickly by how your post was written.

Have to admit, this couple has it all. Life is wonderful when you have someone so right for you to share it with. Brad you were just plain smart…. you got away from the bottom of the barrel and hooked up with your soulmate. Everyone should experience such love in their lives.

Maybe she did that but she also didn’t fail to mention how uncomfortable where the furnitures that Brad brought in their HW house when he renovated it. And that she didn’t liked them at all. Doesn’t sound much supportive to me. Plus this specific building was a long-time Brad’s desire to see it.

For someone who claims her breakup is an invention of the tabloids, Jennifer Aniston hasn’t been trying very hard to prove them wrong. The former Friends star has been out and about lately, turning up at a Glamour magazine event in Los Angeles last week and performing in a charity theater festival in New York, but her failure to appear in the company of Vince Vaughn, or even in the same area code, has many convinced the relationship is being propped up for PR purposes.
According to one source with contacts in the Aniston camp, the actress’s handlers fear it would damage her market value to have her seen as a two-time dumpee. “Keeping this ‘relationship’ on the map is a face-saving maneuver,” says the source. “The ‘Poor Jen’ headlines are something she despises, and she’s desperate to avoid another round of it.”
A well-informed tabloid editor puts it more bluntly: “She doesn’t want to be seen as a loser.”
But while Aniston may be selling the happy-couple narrative, the entertainment press, having played along with too many of her past charades, isn’t buying. Us Weekly is leading the charge, with a running timer on its home page tracking, to the second, how long it’s been since Aniston and Vaughn were last seen together. Over the summer, Aniston pooh-poohed an Us report that she and Vaughn were engaged; Us retaliated with a list of all the times her rep, Stephen Huvane, had been caught lying on her behalf.
It would help Aniston’s credibility if she and Vaughn had ever bothered to confirm their couplehood before the reports of their split began to appear. Aniston’s Oct. 16 Oprah appearance, when she tepidly denied there had been a breakup, was her first public acknowledgement of the romance. “They would never talk about the relationship when they were actually having one,” says a skeptic. “Now that they’re not having a relationship, they’re going out of their way to talk about it. It’s perverse.”
Convincing the doubters may require extreme measures. Yesterday afternoon, as Aniston prepared to leave New York, one source told Radar she was believed to be headed for London, where Vaughn has been filming Fred Claus. Huvane declined to confirm or deny that, saying, “I don’t think Jennifer’s personal travel plans or wherabouts are anyone’s business but her own.”
But even a well-executed photo op would fail to persuade most professional celebrity watchers at this point. Says one, “Jennifer Aniston is sort of Clinton-esque in her choice of words. She parses them so that they’re technically accurate, but she’s a well-known liar.”

Brad has met and become friends with some of the finest architects working today . Being able to just talk to them gives Brad an edge over a first year graduate.
I remember a couple of years ago when there were rumors that Brad was doing an internship with Frank Gehry. There were internet stories about how upset architecture students were that this novice was getting to be that close to Frank Gehry.
It so great that Angelina was able to take Brad to a place he was wanted to visit for more than twenty years.
