OlderAngie’s Secret Birthday Gift to Brad

Brad Pitt turns 43 in ten days, Dec. 18 and Angelina Jolie had a secret birthday gift ready for him yesterday afternoon in Ohiopyle, (Bear Run), Pennsylvania. The gift involved Fallingwater, one of architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s works, which was designed in 1936 for the family of Pittsburgh department store owner Edgar J. Kaufmann. (Fallingwater is the building behind Brad and Angelina.) Read all about it after the jump!!

Brangelina In Town For Pitt’s Secret Birthday Present
The workers at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater got quite a surprise Thursday afternoon when Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie showed up for a tour of the estate.
According to a spokesman for Fallingwater, Pitt and Jolie arrived just before 3 p.m. for the tour, Jolie’s gift to Pitt for his birthday.
“Brad said he had wanted to experience Fallingwater ever since he took an architectural history course in college,” Fallingwater’s curator of education Cara Armstrong said. “He and I talked quite a bit about design and art. He was incredibly well-informed about architecture.”
The couple took a two-hour private focused tour, led by Armstrong, who described the couple as “very gracious and very engaged in the house.”
“Brad said he had a visual sense of Fallingwater but experiencing it in person, hearing the sound of the waterfall cascading under the house and smelling the wood from the fireplace was better than anything he could have imagined,” Armstrong said.
After the tour, Jolie had arranged to have champagne and caviar sent in, which the couple shared in a private birthday celebration in Fallingwater’s living room. Afterward, they invited the staff to join them and encouraged them to take the “snacks” home.
Arrangements for the visit began about a week before Thanksgiving when staff at Fallingwater received a call from Jolie’s personal assistant in Asia.

Friends of Melanie Brown have revealed that Mel only found out that her relationship with Eddie Murphy was over when friends texted her the news of Eddie attending the Dreamgirls premiere with new girlfriend Tracey Edmonds and questionning the paternity of Mel’s baby.
A friend told the Mirror: “When she left America on Thursday last week, she had no idea of the bombshell waiting to go off. The news broke while she was on the plane from London back to LA.”
“She was stunned to see so many photographers and couldn’t understand why they were all asking her how she felt. Then all of a sudden she got these messages asking if she was OK after what Eddie had done.”
“At first she thought it was some kind of joke but then she called one of her friends who read the story down the phone to her.”
“She’s been in pieces ever since. Not only has she been dumped but the man she loves has run off with someone else and is making her out to be some sort of slapper.”
“Mel is totally devastated by what Eddie has done, her whole world’s been torn apart. She really thought they were going to be together for a very long time.”
“Mel is sickened Eddie is questioning paternity. She wasn’t sleeping around when she met him and has been faithful throughout their relationship.”
“She accepts there will have to have a test but really can’t believe it has come to this. She’s getting a lawyer immediately.”
According to the Sun, Mel told a friend: “I’m shell-shocked by the whole thing. As far as I was concerned we hadn’t really broken up - we’d just had a bit of a row.”

Because the lady said that Brad and Angie said that they have to get back to Brooklyn that afternoon, and the only Brooklyn I know is in New York…..so maybe they are staying in Brooklyn, that would be cool, since am from Brooklyn :)

Aww, Zee looks so pretty.. and Maddox is adorable. Cant believe Zee is wearing Maddox’s shirt he wore at age three and she isnt even 2 yet!(one month to go)
She has grown so much since she was a tiny, sickly infant. Brad and Angie have done wonders with her.

Thanks for the article! I thought the statement below was interesting too, as this may be the first published confirmation of the link between Shiloh’s middle name to one of Brad’s favorite architects, Jean Nouvel:
“I was just impressed by how interested in architecture he was,” said Ms. Armstrong. “He was talking about Frank Gehry and Jean Nouvel and Zaha Hadid and Greene and Greene. He was trying to explain the Golden Mean and proportion and flow of space to Jolie, and he was getting it right. It was fun to see somebody that interested in and excited about architecture and design.”

How much you wanna bet, tourism to the FLW house goes up quadruples this year….they got me wanting to see it.
Those two are so bad-ass they increase the gross national product of whatever country they’re in, because people want to follow in their footsteps…peeps is just damned good for business wherever they go.
