OlderAngie’s Secret Birthday Gift to Brad

Brad Pitt turns 43 in ten days, Dec. 18 and Angelina Jolie had a secret birthday gift ready for him yesterday afternoon in Ohiopyle, (Bear Run), Pennsylvania. The gift involved Fallingwater, one of architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s works, which was designed in 1936 for the family of Pittsburgh department store owner Edgar J. Kaufmann. (Fallingwater is the building behind Brad and Angelina.) Read all about it after the jump!!

Brangelina In Town For Pitt’s Secret Birthday Present
The workers at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater got quite a surprise Thursday afternoon when Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie showed up for a tour of the estate.
According to a spokesman for Fallingwater, Pitt and Jolie arrived just before 3 p.m. for the tour, Jolie’s gift to Pitt for his birthday.
“Brad said he had wanted to experience Fallingwater ever since he took an architectural history course in college,” Fallingwater’s curator of education Cara Armstrong said. “He and I talked quite a bit about design and art. He was incredibly well-informed about architecture.”
The couple took a two-hour private focused tour, led by Armstrong, who described the couple as “very gracious and very engaged in the house.”
“Brad said he had a visual sense of Fallingwater but experiencing it in person, hearing the sound of the waterfall cascading under the house and smelling the wood from the fireplace was better than anything he could have imagined,” Armstrong said.
After the tour, Jolie had arranged to have champagne and caviar sent in, which the couple shared in a private birthday celebration in Fallingwater’s living room. Afterward, they invited the staff to join them and encouraged them to take the “snacks” home.
Arrangements for the visit began about a week before Thanksgiving when staff at Fallingwater received a call from Jolie’s personal assistant in Asia.

Oh my gosh!!! It’s me at Dlisted. I work in NY and I have to say that we see a lot stars but … I’ve never seen anything that compares to Brad and Angie…. I heard hin call her “baby”!!!

Oh Angelah! I just watched your new video IT MIGHT BE U and I had tears in my eyes. The video was so beautiful but that song, although during my JS Prom in UP High was the version by Stephen Bishop was so memorable to me. It brought back memories of my youth and my first boyfriend. I like Kai’s version too, he’s my daughter’s favorite. Again, thank you for bringing back wonderful memories.

I think Mad calls Angie ‘Mamang or Mama” and “Pappa” to Brad.
In interview with Ellen in 2004, when Ellen asked how Mad call her, Angie said “Mamang” and it sounded like Frenchy to me.

You know that’s how me & my siblings oftentimes call our parents - its pretty common among Filipinos…
Oh wow. “Papa.” I thought Mad called him “Daddy.” I guess he switched up. :-) …and just thinking about Brad calling Angie “baby,” makes me swoooooooon. Hearing how Brad responded to the crowds, smiling when someone asks about “Shiloh,” calling Angie ‘Baby,” it’s all too surreal…that man used to be seriously uptight when confronting the papzis and crowds…now he’s workin’ the serene & happy thing like AJ. God, she’s good for him, and he for her.
Btw, I found some cool youtube vids of Falling Water..one is this extensive tour of the home - 6 minutes long, set to a jazz selection…the other is a jazzy too - but not as long..they are way cool…check ‘em out (esp the first one…you get to see every nook and cranny and walk where B&A walked…it’s like a tour on speed…lolol) –

Hey 4Q, I am so sorry you missed the JPs, man that would have been great if you had met them, maybe next time. Are you going to go down to the Premiere on Monday? I bet a lot of people will be lining up to to see Angie and the rest of the cast, and also to see if Brad is going to be there. If I was still living in New York I would go to the Premiere, I would brave the cold just to get a glimpse of Angie and maybe even Brad :)

Really? That sort of remind me of Ryan Cayabyab’s story. Anyway, I went to UP Cebu HS and move across the road for college. I hail from Mindanao (born in Dapitan/ZDN to be exact) but spent most of my childhood between there and Cebu.
I can’t really sing it in its entirety but I kinda still hum the notes….LOL.

Brad & Angelina Wedding Denied: Rep Says “It’s All Made Up”

WireImage.comBrad Pitt’s rep denied late Friday that the actor is planning to wed Angelina Jolie in Johannesburg. “It’s all made up,” the rep told Us Weekly.
A tabloid reported this week that the couple would wed in South Africa in a simple and elegant ceremony with African music. Guests attending, according to the report, included Oprah Winfrey. “Oprah would not be invited to their wedding. They are not that close,” a source close to the couple says.
Pitt, 42, and Jolie, 31, have three children, six-month-old Shiloh Nouvel, Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1. The couple is currently in New York to promote her new movie, The Good Shepherd; they have been together since early 2005.
In the October issue of Esquire, Pitt said that he had no plan to marry Jolie until “everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able.”

I think giving someone a gift like “Fallingwater”, is the most insanely wonderful thing I’ve heard in a long time! Wow, Angelina has truly outdone herself this time. The house is an architectural and cultural treasure. I hope the house brings them many years of good luck and happiness.
Finally finished up on reading this whole thread about Angie’s sweet birthday gift to her Bradley. Took me almost an entire three hours, in between my assigned work (sheesh, how I hate it when work gets in the way of reading up on BAMZS). Then, shame on me, I also went on other sites like dlisted, PH and Popsugar to check on what others are saying about our BAMZS. As expected, haters are still hating, especially now that Chinochio just got dumped by her frat boy.
What is hilarious is somebody commented that since Chinochio was so much in the news last week, Brad and Angie are countering with their own PR. BWA HA HA! If that is called being in the news, being DUMPED again, then these Fanistons are getting really desperate. Especially since the news about Brad and Angie are so positive. But the photoshopped accusations that went on and on — that got SOOOO boring after a while.
