Brad Pitt turns 43 in ten days, Dec. 18 and Angelina Jolie had a secret birthday gift ready for him yesterday afternoon in Ohiopyle, (Bear Run), Pennsylvania. The gift involved Fallingwater, one of architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s works, which was designed in 1936 for the family of Pittsburgh department store owner Edgar J. Kaufmann. (Fallingwater is the building behind Brad and Angelina.) Read all about it after the jump!!

Brangelina In Town For Pitt’s Secret Birthday Present
The workers at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater got quite a surprise Thursday afternoon when Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie showed up for a tour of the estate.
According to a spokesman for Fallingwater, Pitt and Jolie arrived just before 3 p.m. for the tour, Jolie’s gift to Pitt for his birthday.
“Brad said he had wanted to experience Fallingwater ever since he took an architectural history course in college,” Fallingwater’s curator of education Cara Armstrong said. “He and I talked quite a bit about design and art. He was incredibly well-informed about architecture.”
The couple took a two-hour private focused tour, led by Armstrong, who described the couple as “very gracious and very engaged in the house.”
“Brad said he had a visual sense of Fallingwater but experiencing it in person, hearing the sound of the waterfall cascading under the house and smelling the wood from the fireplace was better than anything he could have imagined,” Armstrong said.
After the tour, Jolie had arranged to have champagne and caviar sent in, which the couple shared in a private birthday celebration in Fallingwater’s living room. Afterward, they invited the staff to join them and encouraged them to take the “snacks” home.
Arrangements for the visit began about a week before Thanksgiving when staff at Fallingwater received a call from Jolie’s personal assistant in Asia.

I don’t think it was a press junket. Jenny Rand and her staff were with Angelina. I think she had a fitting for the premier. Rand has a bunch of clothes with her

I LOVE this picture of BA. (Okay, breaking my promise not to respond to the idiots: they are standing apart to frame Fallingwater, but if you can’t see the “love” I feel very sorry for you).
This is a very busy week for me at work, but I know that there will be a JP bonanza every night to catch up with. I am also looking forward to seeing Matt Damon and DeNiro. I think the premiere of a Bob DeNiro film in NYC would be a hot ticket in any event, but add the Jolie Pitt factor, and wowza.
The bad bunny in me wants Brad to walk the red carpet; the realist suspects that Mommy will go to work on her own, looking fabulous as always. That coat is sensational!
BTW, I hope that folks do get inspired to go to Fallingwater and bring business through Latrobe and surrounding towns. Rolling Rock is, I believe, moving their plant elsewhere — taking a longstanding business away from the area (back in the day, I used to be a loyal Pennsylvania beer drinker!).
I also love the pix with the kids. If the dopes will remember, last year at this time, there were many more pix of Maddox alone out with one or both of his parents. Because he could ENJOY the activity at hand. Now Zahara gets to go to the toy store, boat rides, etc — BECAUSE she is old enought to enjoy the outing (not the papz!). Miss Shiloh is enjoying trying to get her toes in her mouth; she doesn’t care about going to the store or anyplace else. By the spring/summer I totally expect to see her more often. BA are good parents who are not obligated to demonstrate their love of each other or of the kids by behaving the way anybody else expects.
Back to happy talk. They are gorgeousssssss. By the time the GG noms come out, I will be exhausted from anticipation.

BAMZS fans, can we please make a pact to not ever bring up the ONE WHO SHALLL REMAIN NAMELESS when discussing our favorite family. We need to ignore her fans who want to hate. We should understand where they are coming from because our family is thriving and the press is falling all over themselves to get to them. They are regarded as the most most famous family in the world and named the most beautiful family in the world by people magazine. When the one who shall remained nameless is seen as powerless and weak. I bet she did not see this coming when she was playing the VICTIM card. In hollywood that only gets you so far.

From my understanding the Fallingwater pic was taken Thursday. The pics from NY were taken Friday. They will be in NY unitl at least Tuesday.
The PA pics at Fallingwater were Thursday afternoon. The pics of BAMZ were from last evening.
Angelina has press and the premier in New York on Monday the 11th. They have not left the city and will be here until at least Tuesday.
Cate said she is not expected on the set of BB until January.

chanel, the movie won’t premiere until Monday night so we might expect some vidoes or pics of the gala by Tuesday. And Tuesday night will be Barbara Walters special Most Fascinating People 2006. Hope that helps
Ijust watched the end of last night 20/20 where they showed the preview of the Barbara Walter special . They showed a brief clip of Angelina talking about a sometime in the past when she should be happy but was not. They showed a clips of Brad/Z/Maddox. The thing is after seeing it, I am not sure if the clip thay showed of Angie commenting is a recent one. I’m not sure her hairstlye is a recent one or one from a few years ago. Did anyone else see it? What do you think?
I like this beautiful couple, but don’t keep up with everything they do. Not a #1 fan like most of you here. Anyhow, just read in some cheesy mag last night that Brad and Angelina are secretly planning to wed at the urgence of Oprah Winfrey and that B&A are going to be guests of Oprah Winfrey over Xmas when she is in Africa to open her school for African girls. Of course, the article did not name the reporters who wrote the story, but it made me wonder. You guys keep up with all this. Any truth to it or just a fake story?

You can’t tell by reading the content that it’s a fake, UK tabloid story?
It’s once again been denied by Pitt’s people. How many times are these tabloids going to run the same damn story? They’ve been doing it for two years and just changing the location and the people. Italy/George Africa/Oprah, Malibu, Cambodia, it goes on and on
