I like this beautiful couple, but don’t keep up with everything they do. Not a #1 fan like most of you here. Anyhow, just read in some cheesy mag last night that Brad and Angelina are secretly planning to wed at the urgence of Oprah Winfrey and that B&A are going to be guests of Oprah Winfrey over Xmas when she is in Africa to open her school for African girls. Of course, the article did not name the reporters who wrote the story, but it made me wonder. You guys keep up with all this. Any truth to it or just a fake story?

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were reportedly set to marry in South Africa this Christmas. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reportedly chose a small picturesque village just outside Johannesburg to host the intimate ceremony.
However, it would appear that those reports are false. “It’s all made up,” the do-gooder duo’s rep told us.

The mere Mention of Oprah should have tipped everyone off on the inaccuracy of the story

Ijust watched the end of last night 20/20 where they showed the preview of the Barbara Walter special . They showed a brief clip of Angelina talking about a sometime in the past when she should be happy but was not. They showed a clips of Brad/Z/Maddox. The thing is after seeing it, I am not sure if the clip thay showed of Angie commenting is a recent one. I’m not sure her hairstlye is a recent one or one from a few years ago. Did anyone else see it? What do you think?

Hi Tabitha, I saw it as well, and I don’t know if it is a recent interview as well, I am hoping it is, but I guess we have to wait until Tuesday to find out.

Amen to that last line. If I didn’t know any better — I’d think Oprah was taking a page out of ‘Huvaniston’s’ book, and trying to float something, not only so that it would be covered in the press, but also to give her something that would connect her to Brad & Angelina in some way, especially since she’s been so publicly dissed by Tom & Katie.

10 to 1, she mentions this on her show at some point next week. Seriously. I am deeply suspicious, that JUST when Brad & Angelina ramp up for the Barbara Walters (O’s mentor) thing coming next week, the TGS premiere coming next week, AND last but not least…Awards season….ALL OF A SUDDEN, we get some silly ‘wedding rumor’ that ties Brad &Angelina to Oprah and her ‘SA school for girls?’ COME. ON. This was started by her camp….and before anyone tells me, why would Oprah W. need to do that?! She’s been publicly dissed in a major way, by one of the OTHER hottest stars around (2 TIMES!), so it makes sense she’s trying to float this, if only to unfloat and dismiss it later — similar to what Maniston has done on her show every single time out of the box. ‘Ms. ‘I Don’t Read the Tabloids, yet I was Caught Red-Handed w/ Star in My Paws,’ will come on and refute 3 or 4 rag stories (that she of course, hasn’t read. WTF), and it’s something for her to talk about. It’s a WAY to get more publicity - call Oprah up to talk about the tabloid 8 million dollar wedding story. Feed the business of the tabloids, by turning it into spectacle. So I have no doubt, we’ll be hearing lots more ‘Brad & Angelina,’ utterances….similar to what we’ve already heard this week. Oprah, though she misstepped with Aniston, is still pretty astute - she knows she was played, she knows Aniston is a laughingstock..so what does she do…she starts to name drop Brad & Angelina, in her commentary and in her INTERVIEWS w/ others! (See Madge).

So mark my words…she’ll be somewhere next week - name dropping them some more.

Thanks for setting the record straight. According to the article, B&A and Oprah are linked by the good will Oprah is doing in Africa. They were supposed to help Oprah distribute gifts to poor children there.

Of course it all sounded a bit too cheesy, like Oprah telling Jolie to give marriage another shot and go for it, when Oprah has never married herself. Oprah does know Brad, so if they ever do marry and some famous guests are invited, Brad might not pull a Tom Cruise.

Personally, I would like to see a marriage myself. They look very happy together and their family life seems strong and well.

CLINIQUA - Isnt Okra represented by Huavene too? I know she is with CAA…. Also re: Okra - Looko who, Brad is till holding that little black baby. Sorry had to get that snarky comment in writing……lol

Hey thanx for putting these photos and news about them!

First time post-er…long time ‘lurker’ (i guess is the word that would appropriately describe one who stays in the background).
I finally feel compelled to write…dunno why…perhaps its the holidays.
I am a fan of all the thoughts, ideas, opinions, gushes, and speechless gestures. I think it’s great to have an outlet where you
can feel safe to speak your mind and have others in that community agree and validate or sometimes even down right trash you down to the
core. The good thing is, no one is gonna jump out at you while saying what you think…unless you have a next door neighbor
who is aware of your allegiance, whichever that might be. However, this ongoing verbal ‘war’ between JA and BA fans need to stop,
and thrown in the ocean along with JA’s final scream ( I admit I did like this comment). You guys, two
years have passed. Obviously, Brad and Angie have moved on, Jen is trying to do the same…so why aren’t we? The only reason this ‘war’ still exists
is because the hurt still lingers for some, but fortunately there are better ways of coping (like the aforementioned exercise
involving the ocean). I love brad and angie for what they have become to represent to each other, their children, their families, and the
audience that is the world. I don’t dislike Jen, but I suppose if I showed the same loyalty towards her as I do with Brad and Angie I might
find alot of things worthy to be a fan.

So this is the soapbox that I stand on for the day. Thanks Jared and Audrey for your tireless effort to appease our voracious
hunger that is brad and angie, and of course, their little ones. And thanks to all who write until the wee hours of the morning so that
older people like me (who in no possible way can stay up past 11pm even if you lined up caffeine shots) have something to look forward
to once we awake.

And thanks to brad and angie, for always allowing us a brief glimpse of what your love is like. Yes, sometimes I cannot resist living vicariously
through your passion and compassion (sounds corny but I had to say it. Sorry). you guys rock…always.

Rumors are at a fever pitch today that super couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning an undercover Christmas wedding in South Africa.

The reported low-key nuptials would include African traditions and celebrity guests like George Clooney, Madonna and Guy Richie.

But don’t buy a Brangelina wedding gift just yet. Brad’s people told us, “I don’t know where people are getting this from. It’s crazy.”

My sister has nothing to do with EXTRA or any other tab, gossip column or just plain cr*ap seen on the net. You don’t know her, she doesn’t know you. You don’t who she knows, who she’s aquainted with or works with. So I would suggest that you learn to take things you read on BLOG with a grain of salt.
