OlderAngie’s Secret Birthday Gift to Brad

Brad Pitt turns 43 in ten days, Dec. 18 and Angelina Jolie had a secret birthday gift ready for him yesterday afternoon in Ohiopyle, (Bear Run), Pennsylvania. The gift involved Fallingwater, one of architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s works, which was designed in 1936 for the family of Pittsburgh department store owner Edgar J. Kaufmann. (Fallingwater is the building behind Brad and Angelina.) Read all about it after the jump!!

Brangelina In Town For Pitt’s Secret Birthday Present
The workers at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater got quite a surprise Thursday afternoon when Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie showed up for a tour of the estate.
According to a spokesman for Fallingwater, Pitt and Jolie arrived just before 3 p.m. for the tour, Jolie’s gift to Pitt for his birthday.
“Brad said he had wanted to experience Fallingwater ever since he took an architectural history course in college,” Fallingwater’s curator of education Cara Armstrong said. “He and I talked quite a bit about design and art. He was incredibly well-informed about architecture.”
The couple took a two-hour private focused tour, led by Armstrong, who described the couple as “very gracious and very engaged in the house.”
“Brad said he had a visual sense of Fallingwater but experiencing it in person, hearing the sound of the waterfall cascading under the house and smelling the wood from the fireplace was better than anything he could have imagined,” Armstrong said.
After the tour, Jolie had arranged to have champagne and caviar sent in, which the couple shared in a private birthday celebration in Fallingwater’s living room. Afterward, they invited the staff to join them and encouraged them to take the “snacks” home.
Arrangements for the visit began about a week before Thanksgiving when staff at Fallingwater received a call from Jolie’s personal assistant in Asia.

Just being nominated for an OSCAR is huge,after all the haters were saying he was finished as an actor because he is with ANGELINA.The haters used to say he will never be nominated,now they are saying he won’t win.
If BRAD is nominated for his first film since they came out to the world as a couple it will be a huge blow for the haters,even the way people are talking about him in BABEL is enough for me.looking at his films coming out next year,they are all oscar worthy.

We arent seeing pics of their private tour.. and we arent seeing pics of their private dinner either. This is just a pic of them outside, and I am sure it is more good publicity for this tour. they probably consented for the pic out of gratitude for the private tour they were given.

Angelina knows her man. She’s in love with all things William Bradley Pitt not just the star Brad Pitt. She listens when he speaks, she hears his heart’s desires and she takes on his dreams as he does with her. He’s finally found his other half and they fit perfectly together. More than likely Brad mentioned his desire to see “Falling Water” months ago…perhaps even last year. Angelina did what a mate completely in love does, she filed the information away for a special moment. No moment more special than a birthday. 2005’s birthday gift? His heart’s desire, a “baby”. 2006’s birthday gift? His heart’s passion. All things Architecture.
And that’s why she’s his lady. She holds his heart, she’s taken on his passions and she’s the keeper of his soul.

Great post and I concure. I so believe Brad never had a partner before Angelina where he wasn’t the one doing all the giving. I think he was so busy either being blinded by love and being in awe of Gwynnie and her family, or he was busy steadying Jennifers “so-called” fragile emotions that he just put aside a lot of himself. I said before that Angelina may not even like Architecture, but she loves Brad, and when you love someone you listen, and make their passions available to them anyway you can, and share in it simply by letting that person know that if it matters to them, it matters to you.

Tina you’re wasting your breath or your typing hands energy. BAMZ bodyguards didn’t do what you’re accusing them of doing. The Paps in India were being very aggressive so the guards did their job to keep some peace. They never called people names. Brad went to the police and on TV to explain the situation. The Paps wanted to cause the commotion to keep BAMZ in the country longer in hopes for more pics to make money. BAMZ didn’t bite as soon as they did what they needed to do with the cops and the TV appearance by Brad they left to do some good in Cambodia and Vietnam as they waited for their bodyguard to go through the process that was needed in India to clear his name and be released. Effectively Brangelina died the paps in India what they wanted.
as for him making movie to do well in the box office, actually Oceans and the like make money, makes them those for that purpose big box office. the other movies he’s doing are more for art not big box office. they’re more interesting independent movies… low budget for low returns but high art value. He’s mixing the kinds of movies he does which is a start strategy it allows him to act in edgy different films as opposed to “cute boy” big commercial movies only. As you can tell he’s grown, he’s rich and he has a family now… he doesn’t need any more “i’m cute look at me” kind of movies anymore.
You’re just angry Brangelina have adopted from other countries. That makes you a sad sad human beiing. They’re doing something good, shining a spot light on many who need it. Kids in the US need to be adopted too, lucky for them they have social services and foster homes that take care of them until someone is willing and able to take them in. The kids in Africa and Asia don’t have that, no social services, no forster homes only cramped childrens home, with little care, not enough doctors or medicine many of them dying everyday from hunger, dehydration etc…..

Tom Cruise & Angelina Jolie Suffer High Negative ratings in Gallup Poll

One would expect controversial actor Tom Cruise to have high negative ratings when America is polled on celebrities. But Angelina Jolie is still getting high negative marks? That’s what a new poll from the Gallup organization reveals.
Cruise and Jolie’s negative ratings are even higher than Mel Gibson’s.

Oh don’t worry, Mel is near the bottom. Trade magazine Editor & Publisher reports that 15% say they would “avoid” seeing anything with Mel Gibson in it.
The poll then delivers the bad news for Tom and Angie. They are the only two stars on the entire list score higher for negative ratings — Tom Cruise, checks in with a Hillary Clinton like 34% voting thumbs down, and Angelina Jolie, with 18% that don’t like her.
Only 12% say they would make a big effort to see a Cruise flick.

Tom Hanks headed the list for positive rankings.
Hanks was picked as the favored actor among the 13 tested, with more than 4 in 10 Americans saying they make a special effort to see his movies. Gibson ranks sixth, following Robert DeNiro, Julia Roberts, Will Smith and Sandra Bullock behind Hanks, with 26% saying they would still “make a special effort” to see any movie he appears in.
We’ll see how this does at the box office as Apocalypto opens today and Jolie’s next film, ‘The Good Sheppard’ opens on December 22.

Tina, tina, tina! I guess ALL the legitimate press publications that refer to Angelina as A MOVIE STAR ALL AROUND THE WORLD don’t know anything, do they? I’m sure they would love to hear your viewpoints on why Angie doesn’t deserve that title. Good luck with that.
If you don’t like Brad and Angelina that is fine they are adults. But hate against the children is wrong. Even if you are not a fan of their parent’s there is no way you can justify insulting a child.
That being said, it really is quite funny how these haters constantly change their tactics. When B & A first hooked up it was “They won’t last a year” They did. Then it was “She’ll never give him a bio child” She did. “Then it was well their careers are over. ” Brad is getting buzz not only for his acting (Babel) but also for his producing (The Departed) Angelina is the one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood and most respected. So now the angle is “A Gallup poll found that she is number 2 in people’s whose movies you would avoid” Hmmm. If you want to get technical 18% of 1003 people polled are about 180 people. Out of 1003. I’ll let the haters figure that bit of math out as they have so much time on their hands.
If people’s happiness is a threat to you, it’s very sad. If this couple that you hate so much has this much power over you, that is even sadder. Drink some wine, lighten up, have a few really good orgasms. Life is short. You shouldn’t spend it being so miserable.

i thought, a la hollywood, she bought it for him and i got annoyed. after i realized they just toured it, my respect for her grew a lot b/c it’s such a thoughtful gift. i’ve actually stood in that spot with my ex…and yes, there is a slight incline to the ground. i respect her a whole lot more. still needs to stop with the adopting a kid from each poor country she visits, but there’s worst offenses…
