OlderMoviegoers Avoid Angelina Jolie?
Not likely but The Gallup Organization, a supposedly widely recognized barometer of American opinion (I’ve never heard of it), recently conducted a survey asking Americans “whether or not they make a special effort to see movies starring 13 different Hollywood A-listers.”
Americans gave Tom Cruise a giant “thumbs down” clocking in at 34 percent. Angelina Jolie came in at a distant second, with 18 percent of Americans saying they avoid seeing her movies. That’s 180 out of 1003 votes.
Who received the most positive reaction of any of the stars in the poll? Tom Hanks! Two of his most recent films include The Da Vinci Code and The Terminal.
Pictures include Angelina Jolie recently leaving her NYC midtown hotel (supposedly The Regency Hotel at Park and 61st).

If you could ask Brad and Angie a question what would it be. Here’s mine.
1. Why can’t someone just take a huge crew of craftsmen and tools and supplies and go to a village and just build a school, hospital and proper housing? It seems so simple. I don’t understand why everyone is waiting on various governements to give. They do it on Extreme make over home edition all the time. (Ok I may have oversimplified the issue, but really I want to know).

And Paris Hilton, for that matter? I gave Friends with Money a chance, since Frances McDormand and Catherine Keener were in it, but there is no focking way that I would ever go to a movie starring Paris Hilton. Or even Lindsay Lohan, although I think she has chops despite the boozing, partying, and loose cannon behavior.
I agree with you, millie. Angelina is on the tip over everyone’s tongue. Her career is still viable and she has many years ahead of her. It would be bizarre to mention people like Demi Moore, Meg Ryan, Sharon Stone, Whoopi Goldberg, and other actresses who rarely appears in movies. It’s not to say that Angelina is in every other movie, but she is on the minds of millions, whether it’s positive or negative.
Unfortunately, Cliniqua is doing what she does best. This is the same kind of behavior that has gotten her kicked off of many sites.
Hell, I was miffed at Jared for two seconds and got over it. He put Angelina’s pics up because, let’s face it, Tom C. or Mel G. just wouldn’t get the hits. I forgot that for 2 seconds and that’s on me, so I apologize to Jared for that.
This is Jared’s site and he has been more than kind to the fans of Brad and Angelina. More than generous.
Thank you Jared and Audrey. Now, I’m going to take my mile. Can you please get the new pics of Brad and Angelina out to dinner. Pretty please :)

That’s what’s in the new issue of OuttaTouch. Yeah…they said that at first his folks didn’t care for Angie, but since Shiloh’s birth they’ve become very close and that Angie has “an amazing bond with Jane and Bill and Brad’s brother Doug”…no mention of his sister Julie, though. Maybe they don’t know she exists or just couldn’t figure out a way to work her into their story.

It’s Jared’s site. He can do as he pleases. If anyone doesn’t like it, then hit the road and don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Jared has bent over backwards to make this site hospitable and BAMZS friendly and the first time he post ONE MILDLY NEGATIVE ARTICLE people jump down his throat? Yes, we have to put up with a lot of bull from the haters, Fanistons and trolls, but that’s the nature of blogging. Asking the site administrator to remove vile and disgusting posts is one thing, telling him how to run his site is another. We can make suggestions, but we cannot make demands.
Cliniqua has decided to throw the baby out with the bath water and that’s her prerogative. If others want to join her that’s perfectly fine. But, I am going on record here and now as one of the moderators of the Yahoo Group and saying that WE WILL NOT TOLERATE JARED BASHING IN THE YG AND WE WILL BAN ANYONE WHO DOES. If you’ve got a beef with Jared, then you need to take it up with him personally via e-mail or on this blog. If you want to DISCUSS IT RATIONALLY, then do so, but don’t bad-mouth Jared because all it’s going to get you is thrown out of the group.

Calm down boo. We’ve been positively shooting down this bogus ass poll. Check this:
1. The number of people polled couldn’t possibly be true represenation of any accuracy.
2. Mel Gibson’s and Tom Cruise’s movies have both done well after negative publicity. According to that poll, this should’t happen.
3. How often do those polled see movies? What category of movie do they see?
4. 82% polled would see Angie’s movies. That’s pretty damn fine if you believe 18% they claimed would not see her movies.
Etc. Etc. Etc. Feel me? We knew to expect things to get really suspicious around Angie and Brad’s movie premieres, magazine releases, and of course as the award season nears.
Finally, I quite enjoy your comments and analysis. Of course cool off if you must. It’s all still very very good. Peace.

Thank you for saying that. I’m not a member of the Yahoo board, but it’s good to know that this irrational behavior won’t be tolerated there. I’m hoping that Cliniqua will realize that Jared is not Perez, MK or whatever the D-Listed dude’s name is, or Lainey. There are too many nasty places in cyberspace; Just Jared is not one of them. Many of us recognize this and appreciate it.
I suppose that this could be another example of someone ignoring the nine-tenths that is in front of them and dwelling on the one-tenth that’s missing.
