OlderMoviegoers Avoid Angelina Jolie?
Not likely but The Gallup Organization, a supposedly widely recognized barometer of American opinion (I’ve never heard of it), recently conducted a survey asking Americans “whether or not they make a special effort to see movies starring 13 different Hollywood A-listers.”
Americans gave Tom Cruise a giant “thumbs down” clocking in at 34 percent. Angelina Jolie came in at a distant second, with 18 percent of Americans saying they avoid seeing her movies. That’s 180 out of 1003 votes.
Who received the most positive reaction of any of the stars in the poll? Tom Hanks! Two of his most recent films include The Da Vinci Code and The Terminal.
Pictures include Angelina Jolie recently leaving her NYC midtown hotel (supposedly The Regency Hotel at Park and 61st).

Jolie, Pitt catch Fallingwater

Angelina Jolie, 31, and Brad Pitt, 42, blended family time with work matters on the East Coast in recent days.
The couple squeezed in some weekend holiday shopping together in New York, where the actress is promoting her film The Good Shepherd, in theaters Dec. 22.
And then, what’s next for her? “Brad’s working. We take turns, so I’m with the kids,” Jolie said Sunday of their method of balancing schedules, which will keep her away from moviemaking in coming weeks. She has one more day of shooting A Mighty Heart, the story of Mariane Pearl, widow of journalist Daniel Pearl. Pitt is currently filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons in New Orleans.
The actor broke away for personal time on Thursday, when Jolie arranged for the couple to have a private tour of Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural masterpiece in Mill Run, Pa. “Brad is a student of great architecture,” Jolie said. They toured the home for two hours, followed by a birthday celebration in Fallingwater’s living room. Pitt turns 43 on Dec. 18.

No No No-Dukes is a place to eat. I told U I don’t hate Anniston, I hate what she tried to do-It reversed on her and her career is suffering. The HW thing to do is immediately go out in public and smile and be gracious and act as if nothing ever happened so of course that’s what she is doing ’cause her rep is really old school in one sense and disconnected in another. But anyway-I was just kidding. I would rather talk to Huvane ’cause he is a freaking Genius and I want to be his agent. I would make him a ruthless, diabolical, manipulative SOB in one of my movies that I am never going to finish writing. He would be a lawyer who kills a judge ’cause he caught his wife on her knees with the judge . . .Then he would torture his wife by making her eat pieces of the corpse’s flesh while she is chained to a wall in the basement of an abandoned mental hospital. He would starve her so that she would be glad to eat the dead, maggot infested flesh-then after she seems like she is going to just die -he pours hydrochloric acid on her throat so she can’t scream, then filets her flesh while she’s still alive! I have such an imagination. It’s time I went to be. I have a million stories in my head but Final Draft won’t work by dictation. Anyway goodnight ppl.

Cliniqua - I understand that you are emotional when it comes to this couple and therefore, I suggest Malibumom’s idea - talk to JJ privately and hopefully you both settle this issue. He has always treated us well and listen to us one way or another.

People need to calm down folks. Obviously, Cliniqua has a beef with JJ and is clearly making her views known. She has also made it clear that she will not be coming here until a new thread appears. That is her perogative. No more harm done. Clearly not everyone can be pleased all the time. I don’t think Cliniqua said she was going to bash JJ on YG.
Anyway, peeps just need to chill.

Loonies…No, Cliniqua didn’t say she was going to bash JJ on the YG. We were just cutting it off at the knees before it got started. She made her feelings known and I made known the feelings of the moderators of the YG. That’s all. As long as people know the score they can’t say they weren’t told.
Well I bloody love Angelina. So I probably watch any of her movies. Such a gorgeous woman inside and out.

On some level i agree with Cliniqua, this topic by JJ is totally unneccesary & i think JJ should really beef up the moderating on this site. The level of abuse from trolls is unbearable. Is it really asking too much of Jared to give a BAMZ fan moderating power & let them police the BAMZ topics?
But on the other hand this is typical Cliniqua behavior, she tends to lose her temper & she’s been banned from many PRO B&A sites.

On my blog the chapters run 1-22 on EA they run 1-23. I actually combined two chapters on my blog but it is still updated. Chapter 22 “Let the Circuit and Secrets Begin” is the latest.

The Poll is inaccurate, it reflects the sentiment of the people/respondents at the time the survey was conducted. Its logical that the 3 stars have been were single out negatively because as you know, these are the only 3 that were controversial among the list of A-listers given to be commented by the respondents. Tom Cruise because of his recent crazy antics; Mel G his DUI arrest, and Angie because Brad left Aniston for her and most women are jealous. I bet the 180 who voted against her are women.
If you look at the list, the rest of them were not in controversy or scandal in recent months.
And the results do not even reflect the reality, look at Sandra Bullock, her 2 past movies The lake House and Infamous were flopped. And where is Johnny Depp, he is the most bankable star today? And of course, Mel G’s ne movie is no 1 in the BO now. And why is Brad or Johnny not included in their list?? Or are they? I just think this is a sloppy poll, even the a-listers included were not accurate. De Niro in the list, he is no longer a leading man, he is a supporting actor and now a director.

In the past month when all the other bloggers had made up stories about X and the Pitts spending T-Giving together, he didn’t…Rarely does he post tabloid stuff. So i think people really need to cut him some slack…
