OlderMoviegoers Avoid Angelina Jolie?
Not likely but The Gallup Organization, a supposedly widely recognized barometer of American opinion (I’ve never heard of it), recently conducted a survey asking Americans “whether or not they make a special effort to see movies starring 13 different Hollywood A-listers.”
Americans gave Tom Cruise a giant “thumbs down” clocking in at 34 percent. Angelina Jolie came in at a distant second, with 18 percent of Americans saying they avoid seeing her movies. That’s 180 out of 1003 votes.
Who received the most positive reaction of any of the stars in the poll? Tom Hanks! Two of his most recent films include The Da Vinci Code and The Terminal.
Pictures include Angelina Jolie recently leaving her NYC midtown hotel (supposedly The Regency Hotel at Park and 61st).

Please stop with your judging of someone you dont know. Angie has said MANY TIMES in interviews that she HAS FORGIVEN her father. She has also said that sadly, she cant have him in her life right now because it isnt healthy. He has really pulled a number on her to the point where she would get stomach pains just being around the man. He isnt the same man apparently in person that he appears to be on Tv begging to see his grandchild(funny, never heard him wanting to see the first two, only the bio one).
She tried to reconcile with him and he failed her…. she has forgiven him and is trying to live a more healthy way. It is sad sometimes that this must happen, but I have known friends who have had similar unhealthy relationships with family… and this sometimes is for the best.

mark my words, that “marianne pearl” movie will definitely be a bomb since Angelina is the lead character and the rest of the cast are not well known. I’m not sure about the good shepherd since Derino and Damon are leads in this movie, so it has a 50/50 chance of success.
Who neeeds a poll to them who or what to like? Most polls are, in my opinion big fat jokes. Polls may be fun but basically meaningless. An Angelina Jolie movie is about the only movie I would go out of my way to see. I’ve seen Mr. & Mrs. Smith numerous times. I also like Cameron Diaz movies. I haven’t seen a TC movie since Top Gun, and I’ve never seen a Mel Gibson movie. Does anybody here care what I like…not really…same way I feel about polls.
This gallup poll is quite disturbing. first, mel gibson went on a racist-hatefilled rant. second, let’s just say that angelina did have an affair with brad, that is nothing compared to what mel said. so given that, i find it incredibly disturbing that these same people would find nothing wrong with spewing hate about jews but would rather avoid seeing angie’s movies. i think these people should take a good look at themselves. if these people are the same jen fans, then there is something terribly wrong with her fans.

Here’s a post of mine from the archives. I am, of course deep into the archives looking for my little friend Boo Boo the fool! Jared suffered a major cyberstroke during July and August. So much so, that it is almost impossible to recover posts. But Tee Hee Hee, the sleuth of all times, did just that!!!!! You know when I was in high school I could never wonder why the “popular” girl and her click never seemed to get over the break-up of the “popular” girl and the hottest athlete(usually the football player). This usually happened with cheerleaders. I was a cheerleader and It always confused the hell out of me. It was worse than organic chemistry. At least in organic, there was understanding-this carbon atom attached this way because of this and that attachment created this carbon-based molecule. . . But the effect of the break-up of Brad and Jen and subsequent relationship of Angie and Brad on the “Jennifer” fans is just unbelievable. They must really really take this personal. It is like Dejavu-The click never stopped talking about it. They hated the “new girlfriend” every day, every year and even after we graduated. They could never appreciate the evolution of relationships. At first I found this attitude towards Angelina hilarious and I didn’t take the JA fans or those who “claim” to be JA fans serious-I thought they were writing just to be antagonistic-but either JA and her click are posting over and over or there are some seriously demented ppl out there.
The Jolie-Pitts are people. They put their pants on one leg at a time. They are parents of kids who get sick, have runny noses, wet the bed. . .They obviously are enchanted with one another in such a way as to not care what those who oppose them think. The most important thing however, is that these two ppl are just trying to live life on their terms, help as many ppl as their hearts and finances allow, and raise their family-that’s it. They are not running for student council;Angie is not trying to out cheer the head cheerleader; they do not want to be voted Mr. and Miss Hollywood High school nor are they trying out for Prom King and queen-They are just 2 ppl who live as normal as possible and who are both humbled by little kids who have no idea of their celebrity status. Brad may be a movie star, but he is the poopie diaper changer and the burp master when all is said and done. Angie is truly drop dead gorgeous, but what good is that when you have little baby who screams at the top of her lungs until you comfort her-and a 5 year old who keeps forgetting not to sit on his little sister’s head. Brad’s hotness is only good for paying the salaries of the paps-It has no effect on puke, poop, or little things in little noses-

And whoever is busy preaching their high morality about God wanting everyone to get married, think again. See, God does not think like us humans. You are here quoting from the Bible, that same Bible should be teaching you alot about judging others, especially in circumstances that have nothing to do with you. If you think you are going to come here and start quoting the Bible and giving your ideas about what God expects of Angelina, think again. I am the first one who will tell you that I’m not a perfect person and have many faults, but I’ve read the Bible and have listened to sermons from different preachers and know that God thinks very differently from the way a human being thinks. I mean, since alot of Aniston fans and non-fans of Angie say she ’stole’ someone else’s husband, isn’t it in the Bible where there is a woman who is being chased down by the villagers for adultery and they all want to stone her to death but Jesus tells the crowd, “You who are without sin be the first to cast a stone” and none of them throws a stone because they have been busy looking at this woman’s sin but haven’t looked at their own. People come on here and other blogs and throw around their judgment and hate on Angie and her family because they can’t bear to face their own failures and mistakes. If they dared to face it, they might find that they are worse than the person they are throwing insults at.
