OlderMoviegoers Avoid Angelina Jolie?
Not likely but The Gallup Organization, a supposedly widely recognized barometer of American opinion (I’ve never heard of it), recently conducted a survey asking Americans “whether or not they make a special effort to see movies starring 13 different Hollywood A-listers.”
Americans gave Tom Cruise a giant “thumbs down” clocking in at 34 percent. Angelina Jolie came in at a distant second, with 18 percent of Americans saying they avoid seeing her movies. That’s 180 out of 1003 votes.
Who received the most positive reaction of any of the stars in the poll? Tom Hanks! Two of his most recent films include The Da Vinci Code and The Terminal.
Pictures include Angelina Jolie recently leaving her NYC midtown hotel (supposedly The Regency Hotel at Park and 61st).

they had a question and answer session with george and then a short column about jen’s breakup, unfortunately it appeared to be part of GC interview. it was not.
I think the list speaks truth. Come on. Angie is beautiful, but, i would not go see a movie bc she’s in it. Frankly she’s not a good actress, and doesn’t appeal to be as one.
Tom Hanks is the man tho. He deserves to be #1, can’t replace talent

Angie is a naturally thin woman. She is not anorexic. As someone with family members who have eating disorders, I take offense at this new tactic of using an eating disorder as a way of criticizing others. Eating disorders are not to be made light of and should NOT be used to bash anyone. Would you bash anyone who had cancer?
ED, you may complain that you werent bashing, only stating your opinion, perhaps, but i have read many posts on different blogs where eating disorders are seen as being comparable to committing a crime almost.
And just so you know, a person can be fabulous, and a person can have anorexia, but no one is ever fabulously anorexic!

Observer,No one cares about polls but chin fan’s.A poll of 1003 people is not exact science.If that were the case Jen would be queen of Hollywood,remember all the polls she won,LMAF.What is the chin’s next movie? She doesn’t have one,that’s why she is pimping a yoga dvd.
I wonder who the 13 Hollywood A-listers are in the poll. I would not make a special effort to see anyone’s movie.
Those polls are meaningless. The sample size of 1300 is not enough to tell anything.
People go to see a movie if the movie is good.
I definitely will support Angie and Brad. I’m waiting for the Vogue and the movie to come out, and I’ll will be the 1st to stand in line for the ticket.
