Moviegoers Avoid Angelina Jolie?
Not likely but The Gallup Organization, a supposedly widely recognized barometer of American opinion (I’ve never heard of it), recently conducted a survey asking Americans “whether or not they make a special effort to see movies starring 13 different Hollywood A-listers.”
Americans gave Tom Cruise a giant “thumbs down” clocking in at 34 percent. Angelina Jolie came in at a distant second, with 18 percent of Americans saying they avoid seeing her movies. That’s 180 out of 1003 votes.
Who received the most positive reaction of any of the stars in the poll? Tom Hanks! Two of his most recent films include The Da Vinci Code and The Terminal.
Pictures include Angelina Jolie recently leaving her NYC midtown hotel (supposedly The Regency Hotel at Park and 61st).

what are you doing here?
Gosh!! American public sure is biased!!! I like Tom cruise. Just because he jumped on the couch does’nt make him a bad actor. Come on, people!! Dont be so prejudiced!! Go see him in “A few good men” and you know what iam talking about. Iam sure you all must’ve watched that movie. Is’nt Tom superb in that?? Americans loved him then! Why so much hate now?? Anyways, same goes with Angie. Whoever does’nt want to go see her movies are losing out, big time. She’s a great actress. Period.

And it’s Sunday fool. Even God took Sunday off. YOU of all people should know that.
To observer2: Consult the dictionary and look up the word Sabbath. It will tell you that Saturday is the seventh day of the week. Check any other language of the world and they will all confirm that the seventh day of the week is the Sabbath.

Ooh, I feel schooled. Not.
You’re still a fool without an apparent REAL job as you like to call it, since you’re still here.
And you’re a liar to boot. You said you were leaving. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.
TO Alana and think positive:
I know, I am sooooo fat, my BMI is 18.
I am guessing Angelina’s BMI is probably 17.
I don’t think Angelina is naturally thin, she wasn’t when she did Gia. I think she was fat in that movie.
Ed as in Mr. Ed, the horse?
That explains why he’s writing like he’s a horse’s ass.

I hate it when people try to position God as a member of TEAM ‘NAMELESS’!
I always say:
i never watch a movie if Angelina Jolie, Tom Crusie, Tom Hanks, Keanu Reeves, Renee Zellweger are in it.
They are totally “avoidable”.

ED,
you sound as if you might have some issues with body weight. Especially if you think Angie looked FAT in Gia.
again that remark about her looking fabulously anorexic has warning bells going off… i hope i am wrong.
anyway.. angie is an actress, weight goes up and down at times depending on a role.
Angie is fine….. I hope you are as well.

Jolie living life her way, despite media
NEW YORK, Dec. 10 (UPI) — Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, a favorite of the paparazzi and the tabloid press, says she won’t let prying eyes of the media affect her work or her play.
“I made a point to not let it change the way I live my life,” Brad Pitt’s girlfriend said in New York, while promoting “The Good Shepherd,” the new movie about the establishment of the CIA.
“I carefully plan my holidays or where we go or where we stay or things like that to try to ensure some quality of life that’s private and nice for the kids,” she said. “We simply don’t let it affect us.”
Jolie admitted that taking her three youngsters to popular family destinations can prove something of a challenge.
“I’ve had so many offers to take my children to Disneyland and places that I can’t take them, and they don’t understand how upsetting that is. Taking my kids trick-or-treating or things, they assume I can’t do — so we plan to find ways to do all of those things. There are worse problems, so we’re OK.”
Asked if she plans to act again with Pitt — her co-star in the 2005 movie, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” — Jolie laughed, “Who’s going to watch the children?”
