Hey “peeps” I went to see Apocalyto last night with friends as a treat from one of my friend who hails from Central America & of Mayan descent. Overall, the movie did not convey the reason of the Mayan demise. The movie focuses mainly on 1 particular Mayan tribe family’s survival. A bit on a gory side but a risk Mel Gibson did quite fine. It is over 2 hrs & 15 minutes long & all subtitled since Mel used the Mayan dialect. Acting-wise of the casts are good since most of them are not professional actors. One word of advice when you see this movie…A LOT OF RUNNING is involved.

It’s entirely possible that Zahara chose those shoes. Remember, there was a time when she rocked the pink shoes all the time; little kids develop attachments, you know. I can see her digging in her heels and insisting on wearing them. And since they were going to a store and the walk to and from the car is mere seconds, it shouldn’t be a big deal.

Brad and Angie are in the best place of their lives. Their domestic bliss and happy family life is something they unconditionally nurture and protect. Some people will try to put them down but their goodness, honesty and overall beauty as human beings will reign supreme.

I love this family, my first an only obsession. There is something about these two people together that stirs up the imagination. They are a very romantic couple and so fierce together…especially Angie being with Brad. Never saw that one coming at all…but the more I learn about Brad, the more I think Angie was his reward for putting up with the ex. There is a God!

BTW: I don’t think Brad is going to the premiere, but he might come to the party afterward and I would not be surprise if he doesn’t come to that event either…Brad is too classy a guy to upstage the cast of TGS. They’re not Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

There is something Old Hollywood about Brad and Angelina…very glamorous, very romantic, just something mesmerizing to watch. Brad and Jen never had that, even though she was a TV-A-Lister.

And I do feel that - ever since Angelina adopted Maddox, she’s really accepted her feminine power. You can just feel it through the pictures…she’s a goddess.

I don’t hate Jennifer, but I really don’t think Angelina *stole her man* either. People grow apart.

Always good looking couple with the cute adopted children. But can’t help wondering when on earth they are going to come out with Shiloh! Maybe the couple are feeling guilty for having a child that was not adopted from a poor country! Or that showing it won’t quite comport with their image of being supporters of the third world children.

Or maybe they go out with Shiloh only when they know nobody is going to photograph them.

Bluemoon, Iove Leo but I really wanted Mel Gibson’s film to be number one this weekend. Yes, I know he said things that were not appropriate and he probably maybe has some issues, but he was REALLY crucified alot this summer that I somehow ended up feeling sorry for him and really wanted him to succeed in this movie and rise from the ashes so to speak. Alot of people thought he wouldn’t do very good in theaters. People were expecting Blood Diamond to be number one and I love it when things don’t go as expected. I’m not telling anyone else what to do and I ‘m def. not preaching, but I don’t think it’s necessary to beat up on Jen in order to love Brangelina. Like the old saying goes if you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all. If anything we should just ignore her, this is part of my own belief system, but also, I don’t think Brad would ever appreciate his fans bashing Jen, it’s just nit part of his MO or his character. I too, like a lot of you strongly feel Jen has a whole other side to her, than what she presents to the public.

But over time the truth always comes out. We should concentrate on loving the ones we love, and leave the others alone. JMO

I personally dont think he really care’s about anyones opinion of his ex, but I don’t think he’d want his fans to use him as an excuse to go after her.

People are starting to realize some truths about who shes not, and who she is, and thats come without our help. There are times when she’s gonna come up, but this incessant need to include her like she’s the 4th damn child is unecessary IMO.

That said, it’s a free country, and if it’s what some or more want to discuss, carry on, and I don’t have to read or respond, but I still wanted to express that I concure with tellmeplease’s post.

BTW if you’re still on, malibumom, since I couldn’t go back to read those nasty posts as some of them were deleted I went to the other hate site. Not PH or FF but the other one. I noticed the handles Harley von Cheetowhore and Snoopys Doghouse similar to the posts here yesterday. They used the same nasty posts and key words that are their signature. The weird thing is that they are no longer just posting on Brad & Angelinas thread. I happen to go to a Madonna thread and there they were, all posting back & forth with each other about Brad & Angelina and the kids..on Madonna’s thread. They were discussing how sick we fans were. Imagine people who post hate telling others that they are sick. It’s vile I’ll tell you. They were on Brad’s thread too but for some reason they take twisted delight on negative posts about Angelina and the children. Very weird. Now it only make sense that it has to come from X and her cronies. Felice does have a point, Brad looks shabby most of the time, his shoes are always scruffy but probably his comfy and fave pair, but he does look like he needs a shower and have noticed that many times. Also read where Juliette Lewis said when she was dating him that he did not bathe that often.

What’s the perfect birthday present for one of the world’s most famous couples? Why, a visit to one of the world’s most famous houses, of course. Thursday, Angelina Jolie treated Brad Pitt to an afternoon at Fallingwater.

“Brad said he had wanted to experience Fallingwater ever since he took an architectural history course in college,” said Cara Armstrong, Fallingwater’s curator of education. “He and I talked quite a bit about design and art. He was incredibly well-informed about architecture.”

Ms. Armstrong and Fallingwater’s events coordinator, Edna King, picked up Mr. Pitt and Ms. Jolie at the Latrobe Airport and spent an hour talking to them in the car before Ms. Armstrong led them on a two-hour private tour of the house. Ms. Armstrong described the couple as “very gracious and very engaged in the house. As we say in the Midwest, you could tell their mothers raised them right.”

Ms. Armstrong and Ms. King met the couple, who were traveling alone, on the airport tarmac at the request of Ms. Jolie’s assistant. They drove to Fallingwater in an SUV with tinted windows, with the celebrity couple in the back seat, Ms. King driving and Ms. Armstrong telling them about the house Frank Lloyd Wright designed in Mill Run.

“We thought they might not have enough time to hear about the house before the tour,” Ms. Armstrong said. They had arrived by private jet after bad weather canceled a helicopter ride. The couple said they had to be back in Brooklyn by early evening.

“Brad said he had a visual sense of Fallingwater but experiencing it in person, hearing the sound of the waterfall cascading under the house and smelling the wood from the fireplace, was better than anything he could have imagined,” Ms. Armstrong said.

“I knew he was an architecture geek kind of guy, and I knew he had tried coming a few years earlier, but I was shocked,” she said when she first learned they were coming. “At first we thought it was a joke.”

Mr. Pitt will be 43 on Dec. 18.

“I was just impressed by how interested in architecture he was,” said Ms. Armstrong. “He was talking about Frank Gehry and Jean Nouvel and Zaha Hadid and Greene and Greene. He was trying to explain the Golden Mean and proportion and flow of space to Jolie, and he was getting it right. It was fun to see somebody that interested in and excited about architecture and design.”

Ms. Jolie had arranged to have champagne and caviar sent in after the tour, and the couple shared that in a brief private birthday celebration in Fallingwater’s living room. Afterward, they invited the staff to join them.

Arrangements for the visit began about a week before Thanksgiving, when staff at Fallingwater received a call from Ms. Jolie’s personal assistant in Asia. The assistant was reluctant to provide the names of the couple but relented when Ms. King assured her she would be discreet.

During their visit, the couple commented on the beauty of the winter landscape of the Laurel Highlands.

“They didn’t behave like celebrities,” Ms. Armstrong said. “They were just people coming to see great architecture and wanting to know more about it.”

“He’s so hard to buy for,” Ms. Jolie told her.

Shortly after the story hit the Post-Gazette’s Web site yesterday — where it quickly zoomed to the top of the most e-mailed stories list — e-mails began pouring in from readers convinced the photograph of the pair standing in front of Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic house was a fake.

For the record, it isn’t.

“No way! I took that photo myself, and I am proud of it!” Ms. Armstrong said.

In the photograph but out of camera range, Ms. Jolie is wearing Ms. King’s shoes.

“We were going to [the] overlook to see that iconic view of Fallingwater, and she had the most elegant shoes on you could imagine,” Ms. King said. Realizing that wearing high heels on the rustic stone steps might not be the best idea, Ms. Jolie said she would wait in the car while Pitt went down for a look.

“I said, ‘What size shoes do you wear?’ and she said ‘9.’ I said I wear 9 and a half; you can wear mine.’ I thought that said a lot about her, that she would wear a stranger’s shoes. They were very humble and down to earth.”

Mr. Pitt’s latest movie, “Babel,” is now in theaters, and he’s recently been filming “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” in Louisiana.

Ms. Jolie, 31, has been filming “A Mighty Heart,” based on a memoir written by Mariane Pearl, the widow of slain journalist Daniel Pearl. She also appears in “The Good Shepherd,” due Dec. 22.

The couple have three children: Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and 7-month-old Shiloh.

After the tour, a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce took the couple back to the Latrobe Airport.

Fallingwater, whose own fame was well-calculated by its owner and its architect in the late 1930s, has long been a celebrity magnet, most recently attracting actors Tom Hanks, Ron Howard, Dennis Miller and Randy and Dennis Quaid.

I think that some people spend to much freaking time discussing the X, who the fhell cares about her, it is almost 2 years, she is not important, she is not part of Brad’s life anymore, she is in the past and should stay there. What I care about is the Jolie-Pitts. I would like to come on JJ and go to a BAMZS thread without the X been mention on it, but I know that it is not going to happen, but a girl can only dream.

I collected my posts from Chin’s thread early this morning - namely because, I didn’t want the bamzs fans having to travel over there to read what I was talking about….and maybe you’ve just gotten clued up to JJ, but most people who have been here a while KNOW that Maniston’s threads suck and don’t come even close to having the posts BAMZS do — but they have even LESS than THAT, when we BAMZS fans aren’t in there having fun with each other, and smacking her fug ass upside the head.

So, THAT is what I meant.

With all due respect guli, but that’s rather harsh of you in my opinion. Jared doesn’t owe us some special consideration. Yeah, Jolie-Pitt threads normally get the most traffic here in my experience, but that still shouldn’t be taken by posters as some entitlement to dictate how he runs “his” site. He never fails to bring us everything he can, as soon as he can and sorry if sometimes the subject isn’t pleasing. It’s not like the poll just popped up. We’ve known about it for 3 days now, and it’s Jolie-Pitt related, and again, it’s his site. I hope you get were I’m coming from, and understand that Jared is not the enemy and nor am I.

PT, that is from a tabloid BUT, i do remember Jen making some of those same quotes in an interview.. it was televised but i cant remember now who the interviewer was..

anyway, she has been quoted saying her part… Brad? ive never heard or read him say ANYTHING like that.. and i am pretty well read in Brad material. he just never talks about his exes… so, that part im pretty sceptical about.

And yes, I have seen the “evidence” and just disagree that it’s Huvane & X. I would think the two of them would be spending all their time on the phone trying to find someone in HW willing to give X some work. PT, I agree. Huvane and Aniston put all their eggs into the wrong basket. Trying to control public perception, instead of trying to make her a movie stah. Now, at 38, she’s about to be put out to pasture.

And Kevin Huvane, Aniston’s agent and Stephen’s older brother has real clients to work for. Movie star clients. Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchette, Nicole Kidman. He only took on Aniston as a favor to Brad. She’s pretty low on his totem poll. It’s pretty hard to get her movie rolls when he’s on the phone with someone, going, you know, the girl from Friends, Rachel Green. No, that was Phoebe. I know how dissappointing it is for you and for everyone about last night’s fiasco against the “fiends”, but for what it’s worth, BAMZS fans showed a lot of intelligence and civility. NEW YORK, Dec. 10 (UPI) — Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, a favorite of the paparazzi and the tabloid press, says she won’t let prying eyes of the media affect her work or her play.

“I made a point to not let it change the way I live my life,” Brad Pitt’s girlfriend said in New York, while promoting “The Good Shepherd,” the new movie about the establishment of the CIA.

“I carefully plan my holidays or where we go or where we stay or things like that to try to ensure some quality of life that’s private and nice for the kids,” she said. “We simply don’t let it affect us.”

Jolie admitted that taking her three youngsters to popular family destinations can prove something of a challenge.

“I’ve had so many offers to take my children to Disneyland and places that I can’t take them, and they don’t understand how upsetting that is. Taking my kids trick-or-treating or things, they assume I can’t do — so we plan to find ways to do all of those things. There are worse problems, so we’re OK.”

Asked if she plans to act again with Pitt — her co-star in the 2005 movie, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” — Jolie laughed, “Who’s going to watch the children?”

When she was doing another of her nauseous interviews this past year, she banged on about how Rumor Has It was the worst movie and worst experience of her life. Yeah, bonehead. That’s what they were telling you. The movie had bombed at the BO and had yet to come out on DVD, you don’t **** where you live. Needless to say, all parties who funded the movie were pissed. Warner Bros. and George and Steven.

It’s safe to say, they’re not Team Aniston.

I’m not o2 but I can answer that question. GC produced and Rumor Has It and that movie sank like the Titanic. Aniston then trashed the movie so as not to take responsibility for its failure. Plus, GC is a good friend of Brad and you know how Aniston got her friends to badmouth Brad in Vanity Fair.

Oh, yes, I saw The Gambit made it back on her IMDB list. It’s been there going on 3 years now. It’s not going to happen since both Joel and Ethan are good friends of Brad’s. She originally was attached to it BEFORE Brad dumped her chin, which shook the world, I know I thought it was at least a 6.8, almost felt as bad as the Northridge quake in the early 90’s. ROTFLMAO! A 6.8, huh? X will be disappointed that it wasn’t a higher magnitude. Then again, she’s always over-estimated her worth.

When I saw that Coen Bros. movie on the list at IMDB, I was thinking that there had been a rumor last year about her doing a Coen movie, but I shrugged it off because as quirky as they are, they’ve always managed to cast great actors (except for Porgie!) in their movies. Plus, I figured that without Brad’s cache X didn’t have anything anyone wanted and until you mentioned it I’d all but forgotten her RHI screw up. Now that she doesn’t have Brad to get her work and bail her out of her screw-ups it’s going to be rather humorous to see how long it is before she has another j-o-b in HW. She’ll have to make good on her threat to go back to NYC and try to bug someone in the theater community to give her a shot. She can always do Chicago…they seem to let anyone play the lead in that sucker. Then there’s always Hairspray. She can play the fat mother. I’m sure that’ll make her feel good about herself.
